Dateifehler Adobe Scan App

View web based PDF on iOS device
We use a website featuring a chat board where helpful articles are attached in PDF format. They are accessible from a Windows PC browser where you can open the document in Adobe. However, using iOS iPhone or iPad and the Safari browser’s internal PDF viewer, the document opens but it is unreadable, the text is garbled. You can move the doc to iBooks but the result is the same. Is there a way to add Adobe capability while using the Safari or any other iOS browser?
For what it's worth you get a similar experience in Windows using the Firefox…

PDF From right to left
Hi
All English books are read from left to right. In Arabic it’s opposite. But Acrobat doesn’t allow flipping the pages from right to left. Kindly, allow this option.33 votes -

Document Properties: Cannot view page size/dimension
Adobe Acrobat Reader is great, but unlike the Mac or Windows app, I'm unable to get the app to display the document dimensions.
For example, when I try to view an A3 document, it's shrunk to what looks like letter size document on the screen. There is no control to zoom in or out, or to see the document at the actual size.
Also, when I try to print the file, there's no way to select the document size if I have tabloid paper in the tray.

Users need the ability to search for text within a searchable PDF. This function seems to have disappeared recently. Please restore! Thanks.

Zooming in on iPhone X
I should be able to zoom in regularly on my iPhone Xs, but the app doesn’t want to go around the notch, there are two gray bars on each side of the screen and it is such a pain. Please let the pdf go around the notch by zooming in.

Bookmark UI is too narrow
Its balloon UI is too small, long bookmark names does not fit into the balloon UI's width.
It requires clicking into several "folders" in order to access a nested bookmark entry. It'd be better to have them expanded by default (which would require the point 1 to be addressed).
Personally I am happy with a UI for browsing bookmarks of pdf as implemented in an app called "kybook 3"

Black background
It seems really odd that you don’t have a simple feature/option to view PDFs on a black background ... the lighter color is distracting when pages crop.

Please add Tabs for viewing multiple documents
Since I exclusively use my iPad for study purposes, there are lots of pdf's I have to work on at the same time. Ability to open multiple pdf's in tabs at the same time would be very beneficial for me rather than having to go back and open another document.
The feature is available in windows so why not make it available in ios too. :)224 votes -

The current minimum iOS requirement is iOS 11.2. If you have an older iOS version, you will not be able to install the latest version of Acrobat Reader.
Here are a couple of options that you can try.
(a) Update iOS on your iPad/iPhone
If you have a relatively new iPad/iPhone (e.g. iPhone 5s/SE or later OR iPad Air 1st gen. or later), you should be able to update to iOS 12.1. After updating iOS to the latest version, you can now install the latest version of Acrobat Reader.
(b) Download the last compatible (not the latest) version of Acrobat Reader
When you go to the App Store app on your iPad/iPhone and try to install the latest version of Acrobat Reader, do you see the alert with the title “Download an older version of this app?” and the Download option?
If so, you can choose the Download option from…

Reading progress and mark as read
It would be awesome if Acrobat would show the reading progress and "read" in the files view. It would me the perfect PDF eBook reader. 😊
