Writing Chinese character shows wrong one
As shown on the screenshot writing the Chinese character [lìng] (the drawed on the left but the result when closed the text box is de left drawing of a character). Also as seen in the screenshot the intended is the still open text box and after when I closed it, continuing to next comment, it becomes another character.
The problem is both on the Android version and the Windows version of Adobe Reader.
Pleas fix this soon.
Thanks a lot. You're doing a really great program.1 vote -
Hide "comment list"
How do you hide the 'comment list"? It pops up every time I try to make something and it doesn't automatically adjust the document and takes up so much of the screen. Very annoying.
3 votesPlease click on the small inward arrow near the comment list to collapse it.
Let us know if that works for you . -
Add quick buttons to comments to set Status (Accepted/Cancelled/Completed/Rejected)
Small icons on comments (could be hidden until mouseover) to quickly set a comment's Status with a left-click. Could be 4 icons (preferable), or one icon that toggles between Status type.

Do not automatically open comment pane
Do not automatically open comment pane
When choosing the Comment tools from the Tool pane, the Tool pane closes and the Comment pane opens automatically. Would be nice to have an option such that the comment pane doesn't automatically open. Most of the time I just want to highlight a few things without typing any actual comments.

Large comment list makes Acrobat unusable
A document with over 1000 comments become completely unusable because of lag. Even when creating an archive version.
Creative Cloud has become a disaster.

Default Font for Adding Text to PDF's
I have wasted hours upon hours of time changing my font from minion pro to arial every time I edit/add text to a new PDF, and even when I switch pages within one PDF. It should be the most basic tool offered, the ability to set a default font for all Adobe PDFs. If this does not exist yet, IT NEEDS TO, please!!!!

Highlight Tool should allow override to text recognition
Your Highlight Tool tries to be smart by automatically switching from freehand to text select when the document recognizes text. There should be a keyboard shortcut (i.e., hold down Ctrl while using the highlighter tool) to override this and use freehand. Text recognition is buggy and leads to weird performance when trying to highlight recognized text.

Highlight Issues
Every time I want to highlight something, the highlighted words are non-continuous, it is very laggy and only highlights part of the text I've selected, such as a few letters. It is very annoying as I am a student and highlighting the key points during lectures is very important for my studies. Hope that Adobe can fix this as I really like Acrobat's full compatibility with PDF files but I would like to have seamless highlighting as well.

You need to bring back the check box.
When you have 500+ comments/corrections its time consuming to have to right click to mark each one. It was MUCH better before when you just marked the box.
4 votesIn the latest update of Acrobat DC, we have modernize the commenting experience and at the same time, made it very clean and intuitive to use. As part of that, the checkbox is moved to the right click menu of the comment.
Open comment>Right Click>Add Checkmark
Please also note that both the sort and filter options are available for the check mark.
We are sorry for the inconvenience caused and will consider adding the check mark by default for future updates of Acrobat DC.However there is one workaround to make the checkbox appear in one step by using the keyboard shortcut SHIFT + K .

Allow 'No Fill' option for shapes to quick tools color changer
I can choose 'no color' in the properties dialog box for shapes, but this option is not available in the quick tools color change drop-down box. If I want a blank fill, I have to open the detailed properties dialog box every time. Can you add a 'no fill' color to the quick tools drop-down?

Your circular icons in the comment panel are painful to look at. The "Text-replace" icon is illegible
You need to clean-up / simplify your comment circle icons, the previous version had non-distracting icons, in the newest version all I can pay attention to is how poor the "text-replace" icon is, scales poorly.

Separate Move tool for Comments
In Acrobat DC I'm fnding it very difficult to move comments (e.g. a text box) once it has been placed. The Move cursor disappears and simply doesn't come back. I place comments on recruitment forms, both signed and new ones, and I need to move comments around simply and easily on the form. I don't have time to struggle with it, or to wait hoping a move cursor might appear.

Acrobat text-edit comment functionality improvements needed
Three problems with the new update on Acrobat, all relating to text-edit comments. 1) Underline, strikethrough, replace, and insert are now represented only by arcane symbols in the comment pane. Before, there used to be the actual words "underline", "strikethrough", "replace", or "insert." Such text labels are gone, and they don't even appear with a mouse-over. This is awful. I work a lot with clients who are less familiar with Acrobat comment functionality, and this only makes it less clear for them. Bring back the text labels for the comment pane entries. 2) You know not everyone uses Acrobat in…

why can i not just highlight something? Why am I prompted to fill out a comment as well?
The older versions I could just highlight something, now I am forced to highlight and then enter a comment or manually close the comment box. Also, why can I not pin the comment features (box, arrows, text) to the task bar like you use to be able to?
Thank you,

replace text in commenting copies the text int my comment
Please make the pop-up open without text. If I want them to replace the text, why would that text come into the comment pop-up? Please, change all the highlighted and replace text pop-ups so they have not copy in them.

Can't select a text annotation - Acrobat Pro 2017
In Acrobat X a text annotation (created with the Typewriter tool) could easily be selected by merely clicking on it. In Acrobat Pro 2017 there seems to be no way to select it. This is a real show stopper for me since I often need to delete or copy/paste a group of selected line, text, and other annotations.
