  2. This is slowing down my work very much. I'm on Adobe Pro 22.003.20314.
Whenever I try to place a second sticky note, the first one just got deleted.
Sometimes if I save immediately after placing a sticky note, then I could place the second sticky note. But not all the time!

    This is frustrating! Please fix

  4. The strikethough feature has a greyed out option to adjust the strikethrough thickness. It should be implemented as certain clients prefer a more substantial strikethrough and the workaround of creating a line and adjusting that thickness is very tedious with large documents.

  5. When trying to type with Add Text Comment on PDF document, Acrobat Stuck actually gets into an endless loop. You can close the document but type process is continuing. This is exit since around 6 months. I am sharing a video from the issue, you may watch with voice. I did uninstall and install the Acrobat, results was the same.

  6. When drawing Rectangles, Circles, Clouds etc in Acrobat pro, the method of specifying Borders and Fill are incredibly tedious and slow to edit. Acrobat has one change colour dot to bring up the colour pallet for Fill / Border, and those colour pallets then have NO option for ( no fill ) or ( no border ). You have to go into the cog to get properties which brings up another pallete, which also has NO option for ( No Fill ) ( No Border ), so you then pick the colour picker which takes you to another window, where…

  7. Although functionality is important, many users use the program simply to view PDF files. The program is often distributed along with other products if they include instructions in PDF format, etc. Although even without this, Adobe Reader is probably on every computer. The program is of course translated into many languages, including Russian. Installation is not difficult. If you need to install a PDF viewer, just download the file and follow the installation instructions.

  8. PDF Docs that I could highlight are no longer able to highlight. When I drag the highlighter icon over text, the text will gray highlight, but after release of the click/drag. the text returns to normal, with no highlight.

  9. While reviewing a signed document depending on security you can or can not make comments or highlight areas. Makes it difficult to review or mark text/images for follow up. This would allow you to make notes and provide comments or analysis to support signing or returning a document for editing. Especially documents that have multiple reviewers or signers this allows the analyst to provide supporting info on the document itself. Ideally this would be like an overlay and not part of the original file so the signature would not lock these into history and the notes pages could be sent…

  10. When you spend hours reviewing and adding comments, no matter how many times you save as you go, Adobe Acrobat Pro DC doesn't actually save the comments. When you open the file up later your comments are missing like you never made them. sometimes it saves somethings, most of the time it doesn't save anything. worthless program!

  11. Recreate Bug:
    -Select Comment tools
-Select Drawing tools -> Text callout -> create a callout box
-Type any text and then click away. The comment pane will show the corresponding text for the callout box
-Select the comment in the Comment pane, edit the text and then click Post.

The text within the callout box will not update properly to the new edit.
Only ways to fix it is to drag the callout box itself and move it a little bit and the text within the callout box will update, or have the user edit the text within the callout…

  13. show tip for keyboard-shortcut (alt+enter)

I don't want to know how many people give up the struggle of commenting in adobe acrobat reader... because of the counter-intuitive "sending" (entering) a comment... forced by clicking a button with the mouse.

apparently you can "enter" with [alt + enter]

please show a popup-tip for this key-combo when hovering over the [send-button]

  14. Everyone wants a keyboard shortcut, and I am no different, would love there to be a way to import comments from another PDF into Acrobat using a keyboard shortcut, vs. the current way of clicking the little dot menu. We do this all day long every day at the agency where I work.

  15. Adobe Acrobat Pro 2020 chokes and crashes on documents with large numbers of comments, sometimes when opening them and sometimes when opening the comment tool. Adobe Acrobat DC stays alive but becomes impractically sluggish. Evince and FoxIt are able to comment on such documents without issue. The attached file is from a post on the Autodesk forum since I cannot share my test case.

  16. The line endings on gestures within ink annotations are defaulting to being rounded and prior to the most recent adobe acrobat update, they were flat. Please switch them back to default to flat/none or provide a way to set them to flat/none via javascript (or some other configuration).

For example, we have OCR and other downstream processes that no longer work efficiently or work at all with the rounded line ending updates.

  18. Open PDF – note that Acrobat DC reports one comment in sidebar on right of window.

This is on Acrobat Pro DC, up-to-date (version 2021.001.20155), Running on MacOS Catalina (v.10.15.7). Comments were made on Acrobat Reader DC for PC, (version 2021.001.20138)

Expected result – should display the amount of total comments in the PDF.

Observed result – only displays comments once those pages are navigated to or scrolled past.

This has been reproducible on multiple versions of MacOS

  20. I review documents with comments from several coworkers. I'd like the option of having each commenter assigned a color. Then I would be able to scan the comments for a particular color to address that person's comments.

Right now, I can filter comments by person, but that removes everyone else's marks/comments from the page. I can sort the comments by date, so I just look at the newest ones, but that doesn't include replies to comments. And it makes it hard to get to the other comments on the same page.

Please add the option of each commenter choosing a…
