  1. Canned Responses

    Could Adobe add a tool for users to create, organize, and use precreated responses to common problems or questions? As a writing instructor, I would find this tool invaluable, as I respond to common problems in student writing. I expect other professionals who encounter situation where they offer similar responses to multiple documents would benefit from this tool. Thank you for considering this request.

  2. Conditional Formatting for Text Boxes & Comments

    I have real estate projects that have multiple buildings on a map that get released for sale on a regular basis. I would love to have the ability to have the text box, or callout box, arrows, lines, etc. to change color based on status. For instance, I write "STARTED" in my text box and the box, text, and arrows attached to that text box turn Green. I write "FUTURE" and it turns Red.This way I can replace the underlying map, and color code the comments automatically based on criteria I select.

  3. Large comment list makes Acrobat unusable

    A document with over 1000 comments become completely unusable because of lag. Even when creating an archive version.

    Creative Cloud has become a disaster.

  4. Super slow switching between text annotation tools on macOS

    The simple highlight text, underline and other markup tools take seconds to switch between. Do you mine bitcoin in between switching? :–) Also see requests "An Urgent Need for Better and Bolder Annotation Tools" and "Make it possible to copy highlighted text". You seem to answer only to selected comments. I enjoyed much better reception with my requests for bugs on the iPad app.

  5. Selecting text in comments is absolutely maddening.

    I use annotated pdfs all day every day to get client edits and apply them in InDesign. I can't tell you (but I will attempt to try) how maddening it is to simply copy text from a comment box to paste into InDesign. Why can I not simply select the text?! I have to double click on the text that I want to copy, which opens a white box around the text. If I then double click again to select the text (without moving the cursor) it closes the box without copying the text! Instead of simply selecting the text…

  7. 2D Measurement Tool - change the units

    When using the 2D Measurement Tool, I need to change the units from decimals (feet) to feet/inches. (Eg. 6.50ft vs. 6'6")

  8. Resize the comments list

    I want to be able to resize the comment list to a smaller size than currently available. Right now, the minimum width is much too big for my small laptop. It takes up three inches of the width of my screen space. The total width of the screen is 11.5 inches, which leaves not much for the actual document, especially if I'm looking at two-page spreads.

    Even when I used a huge 25-inch wide screen I need as much space as possible to compare two documents side by side. The wide comment lists get in the way.

  10. Pen and touch input defferenciation

    There is no differentiation between ben and finger touch input und windows tablet pcs. I'd like to hightlight, write etc with the pen and move the page withmy fingers without selecting the "move" tool every time.

  11. Return ability to align when editing

    Previous versions of Acrobat had the ability to align text comments. Would you please return this feature? Thank you!

  12. Checklist Stamp

    Please consider a stamp that has a checklist included. This will allow teachers around the world to mark effectively. The custom stamp will relate to the criteria marked. The checkbox stamp will have custom skills to award the mark to the criteria.

  13. checkmarks

    I understand that you can import stamps, but it is way too complicated. Adobe should come with more standard stamps. I use Adobe to create and review tax workpapers. There is no easy way to add a check mark next to items I have reviewed without several clicks per check mark. This process should be a standard feature and easily accessible.

  14. "Send File > Attach to email" and "Send for Shared Commenting" do not send emails

    Click Send for Shared Commenting and follow the steps in wizard to add a note and recipients, and so on. When complete, the message appears that the email is created in the email program, but the email is never created. Usually it would appear in the Outbox, and could be sent. Nothing ever appears.

    As a workaround, I tried to "send file, attach to email' to send the review enabled pdf. The email opens with the pdf attached, and i sent. First time i got an error that the file could not be found, and the email was not sent.…

  15. Default Font for Adding Text to PDF's

    I have wasted hours upon hours of time changing my font from minion pro to arial every time I edit/add text to a new PDF, and even when I switch pages within one PDF. It should be the most basic tool offered, the ability to set a default font for all Adobe PDFs. If this does not exist yet, IT NEEDS TO, please!!!!

  17. sticky note

    Everything is a bug in this latest update. Adobe DC is for "Destroying Careers". Slow, unstable and the sticky notes feature is the worst ever. I am reading and copying text from the sticky notes and this happens:

    The yellow boxes shakes, like a vibration.
    The text on it are over an yellow background and when you do the action: select + copy, it simply "enters" the text and replaces the background by a white one and you have to SELECT AGAIN. :(

  19. Highlighting key & search

    I know how to set a default color for highlighting, and how to select from multiple colors. HOWEVER, I would like to be able to assign each color a name (ex. Dark blue = Main arguments. Light blue = supporting info. Green = Concepts). I would like these color and titles to appear in a key that I could continue to choose from easily. Then I would like to be able to search by color/issue. (Ex. If I searched for green/concepts it would show me all the text highlighted in green together). As a student and a professional this would…

  20. Export highlights and comments

    Export highlights and comments - after highlighting and commenting on a .pdf file I should be able easily export those highlights and comments as a kind of highlight reel.
