Please let us know the Acrobat DC version and the OS details.
Also share the screenshot of the issue you are facing or share the file with us.
Removing the Accept check box in the comments field was a terrible idea. Right clicking to a dropdown menu or clicking on ... to get to the dropdown is archaic.
When you have hundreds of changes on a document this adds up fast to inefficiency.3 votes
I would like to be able to lock the Comment Tools and/or my personal Custom Tools to the top of the Toolbar so they automatically show up each time you open a .pdf file. I use the Comment Tools quite frequently and it would make it much easier if I don't have to add them each time I open a .pdf file. Also, it seems strange my personal Custom Tools show up on the right side of the file. I would think they would show up on the top Toolbar.16 votes
Your Highlight Tool tries to be smart by automatically switching from freehand to text select when the document recognizes text. There should be a keyboard shortcut (i.e., hold down Ctrl while using the highlighter tool) to override this and use freehand. Text recognition is buggy and leads to weird performance when trying to highlight recognized text.3 votes
When I need to move a text box, I have to move the cursor over the box many times (or enlarge the text box) because the move pointer doesn't show up. It's extremely frustrating and a waste of time.1 vote
Just wanted to let you all know that it appears that the notes ("add note to text") part of Acrobat Pro DC and Acrobat Reader has not been updated to match the Retina displays of Macbooks as the other parts of the program have. When you click the note it shows up correct resolution... when you mouse over it... it comes up old pixelated low resolution.1 vote
Requesting pressure sensitivity on the "Draw Free Form" tool, or a separate draw tool with pressure sensitivity.4 votes
When drawing an arrow with arrow tool, tip of arrow is NOT pointed; the blunt end of longer line that forms arrow appears over tip
When drawing an arrow with the arrow tool in the Comment Tool section, the tip of the arrow should be pointed. Instead, it looks like this (see image below). I am a proofreader by profession. I cannot use the tool because visually, it's too distracting. I would use this tool often, however, if the arrow had the pointed tip that it SHOULD.1 vote
After completed adding comments from all the people, I downloaded the comments as fdf file and imported to the original file ("save as an Archived file" is not available today), and found the comments quality is changed. it is no problem during online shared review, but after download the place of comments are changed. especially Strikethrough is terrible. It needs manually checking.
Also the strikethrough color is really different from online and desktop. it is really clear online, but the same strikethrough is almost invisible on desktop.
Please fix this bug soon please.1 vote
I want to center only selected text within a text box.
For example, I want most of the text to be, say, left justified and then have just a word at the bottom (in this case the word "GLOBAL") be centered.
I could do that in Pro XI. Now that I have Pro DC, if I select part of the text and click on "center," ALL the text centers, not just the text I've selected.4 votes
I have Pro DC. I want to be able to use ctrl A to select all comments. (I believe I was able to do this in Pro XI.)3 votes
Custom stamp isn't populating the Stamp icon in Acrobat DC Pro for some Macs even when it is in the Stamp Folder. The custom stamp works on all Windows OS and all Mac OS but a few Mac users are having that issue.1 vote
Most likely this seems to be an issue with the permissions with a user profile on the system, please try the following steps and check if that helps.
1. Create a new user profile on the affected Mac machine, and test the scenario again.
2. Check the permission on Adobe folder and Sub-folders, match with non-affected Mac machines:
Location of Adobe folder:
It’s in your user (Home) > Library folder. In recent versions of Mac OSX, this is hidden by default.
In the Finder, hold down the Option key first while choosing Go > Library so you can see it.
Then find it in:
Library > Application Support > “Adobe” > Acrobat > DC > Stamps
let us know how it goes.
Could not find the menu for import FDF file to PDF file. It was next to Export all the comments to FDF file. Sometimes I need to merge some different reviewers' comments into 1 PDF file, I need this.
Also, online review is not available for some kind of commenting? but it didn't say detail or how to solve the problem, I could not do anything. Is it possible to show us what was wrong?1 vote
For your second question, can please please explain some exact workflow where you are stuck?
You need to be able to set the text callout bubble height and width of the comment boxes without having to resize every single one individually. This is a huge waste of time. And I think it would make this program more efficient.2 votes
Reproducing the bug:
1) Open a document
2) Enable comments
3) Open a new window for that document
4) Enable comments in the new window
5) Go back to the original window for the document
6) Enter an edit (e.g. replace text)
The program jumps to the second window for entering the edit. This is not at all desirable or expected behavior.1 vote
Need the ability to view comments by reviewer/commenter to quickly see who provided feedback and what feedback. Perhaps a side pane filtered results (by reviewer) similar to how bookmarks work.1 vote
Your product is very difficult to learn on the go!
I bought it last year to be able to edit, documents redline changes, use electronic signatures and store documents efficiently.
I never used it.
Now I signed up for it again, still there is no way to edit etc, electronic signature. Arggh
What a terrible waste of money!1 vote
Before document is redacted I need to be able to see what redaction is there without having to go back into the document and hover.
Adobe Pro XI showed the redaction along with the page number which is needed at the end of a long document1 vote
