  1. Dynamic Date Stamp and Date Time Stamp

Some Forms (IRS) restrict areas of the document where you can enter information. This can be helpful, except when you need to sign and date the form after you have filled it in. For some reason the "date" part of the form will not accept text from "Fill and Sign", but it will accept a stamp. All of the default dynamic stamps in Acrobat have additional, un-needed text like "Approved', etc.

Please add two dynamic stamps that have ONLY 1) the Date and 2) Date and Time without any additional verbage so that the user can quickly sign AND date…

  3. Wildcard searches within documents

After trying to search for names in a 2000+ page PDF document, I discovered that wildcard searches are only available at the folder level, not the document level. In this particular case, the names might or might not include a middle initial so a basic First*Last search is critical. This is old technology that needs to be brought back. We included wildcard searches of documents 35 years ago in software - but they seem to have vanished. It isn't difficult to write the code and test it - especially since Adobe already does it for collections of documents. It just…

  4. Highlighting in Read or Full Screen mode

How do I highlight test in Reading Mode or Full Screen mode? As far as I see, the highlighting tool (and probably many other tools) switch off in these screen modes and even the pin button does not change this.

  6. Unable to paste comments from one page to another page

    Found a bug

    Software Acrobat Pro DC
    Architecture: x86_64
    Build: 18.9.20050.254034
    AGM: 4.30.72
    CoolType: 5.14.5
    JP2K: 1.2.2.39492

    OSX 10.11.6 (15G18013)

In previous versions of Acrobat, it was possible to copy and paste not only written (text) comments, but it was possible paste lines, boxes, ovals, clouds and other comment features from one page to another page.

This is of importance because we use Acrobat to mark up floor plan drawings and send those comments back to the Architect for review and correction. The current version of Acrobat, as far as I am concerned, is broken because it no longer permits…

  7. Keyboard shortcut for emailing PDF. Create a shortcut that opens the emailing option.

Most of what I use Acrobat Pro for is processing vendor invoices. Several thousand per year. I need to place comments on them and then email them to another location. It would be a big time saver for me if there was a shortcut key to open the email option. Thanks, Barry

  8. add comment shortcut on the toolbar

Add "VIEW COMMENTS" shortcut to toolbar?
    - Is this gone? I can't seem to find where to add it PERMANENTLY.
    - We use Acrobat for proofing and I have to reopen the "view comments" on EVERY FILE our to see any corrections listed in the comment boxes.

  9. Text call out tool properties not set as default

Text call out tool issue . After commenting on a document , the color of the call out box is changes to blue and this property made "default" through " make current property default " option. This change is valid as long as acrobat pro application remains open . When the application is restarted , the text call out box reverts back to the original properties i.e. white in color . This problem comes for the text call out tool only and other drawings markups retain their set properties even after restarting the application.

  11. HIghlighting Text

For the highlight function, there should be the ability to change colors easily. Right now the process is cumbersome and time-consuming. When I have to be able to access my highlighted test for citations, it would be wonderful to be able to export to word documents with a click.

    Apologies for the inconvenience caused!
We have been looking into this issue, will let you know once we plan to release the fix.

    Regards,
    Arvind

  12. Comments pane window is too short and cuts off comments

I have a 27" monitor and when I enlarge Acrobat to fill the screen, the comments are cut off at the bottom. This happens with all documents. It's like the comment window has a maximum height built into it. It needs to expand all the way.

  13. add text comment - right justify

when adding a simple text comment, there is no functionality of right justifying the text (or anything other than left justify for that matter). It would be great to be able to do that, much like one can if one uses a text box comment.

  15. Copying from PDFs in Acrobat DC occasionally crashes InDesign

This doesn't happen all the time but it's enough to be annoying and it doesn't just happen on one of our Macs in the studio. When copying out of either comments or text in the PDF itself, InDesign which has a document we want to copy into open, crashes. It's not the active application, Acrobat is but once CMD + C is pressed to copy from Acrobat, that's the moment that InDesign crashes.

    Anyone else had this issue?

  16. Highlighting

It would be great to have multiple colors or options so you can highlight different topics and organize your note making.

  17. Preference for "Create Comment Summary..."

I have to use the Comment Summary really often and we don't have "US Letter". Every single time I have to change "US Letter" to "A4". It would be great if I could save the setting. Now I use "Action Wizard" for this...

  18. Bug Report

I have a comment box pop up when mousing over a page with multiple images. The Comment box was not put in by the current author and we can't seem to find a way to edit or erase the comment box. Any advice would be welcome.

  20. BUG: All highlighted items in all pdfs converted to comments in latest update release

After the latest update all the highlighted items (in yellow) were converted to comments. How do I get my highlights back?

Second bug: Your website does not have your business address or proper business contact details. Please update this information so that it is available to the public.
