  1. BUG: DC PRO crash while highlighting and comments on scanned hand written notes document

Brand new Win 10 Surface Book with everything updated including Acrobat. When highlighting and adding comments to a scanned handwritten document, DC PRO crashed and hours of work were lost as the file I was working on was not in the temporary saved files. In troubleshooting, I found that auto-save to temporary files was not turned on in preferences. I am used to working with MS Word which automatically saves every document you have opened and changed and I assumed Adobe would do likewise. I have not had a crash like this on DC PRO like many others have reported…

  3. Comments and Annotations need marching ants

In previous versions of Acrobat, it was a LOT easier to see which comment on a page was selected. There sue to be marching ants. Now, there is just a thin blue line that doesn't march. Please bring back the marching ants so it's easier to see what is selected. Our eyes aren't getting any younger!

  4. BUG: multiple actions assigned to keyboard shortcut ~

Currently, typing ~ is assigned in Acrobat to BOTH "insert text at cursor" AND "output preview." It is completely unpredictable which action will result when I type ~.

I need to be able to bring up the "insert text a cursor" function without having to mouse all over the place.

    Please fix this bug.

  5. Text formatting when copying between text boxes

Please make an option to keep text formatting, like line feeds, when copying text between two text boxes in same PDF file. At the moment Acrobat DC removes all line feeds when content is copy&pasted which creates a lot of unnecessary "Enter" typing.
Maybe something like CTRL+SHIFT+V = keep formatting?

Copying the whole text box is not an options, because the text box is sometimes rotated when pasted to another page.

Alternative to this request would of course be to make the text box rotatable.

  6. Bug Report: Comment Descenders Cut Off

The bottom edge of the comment pop-up window is measured from the letter baseline rather than the bottom of the descenders. This cuts off typographical descenders and inhibits quick reading of comments.

Different color option is available by using the color picker to change the color of the Pen.
The color picker is available in the tool bar. Please try that and let us know if that works for you.

  8. Adobe Standard XI huge downgrade

I had Adobe Pro 9. I used it at work to add stamps, and markup drawings. My machine was rebuilt and Adobe Standard XI was loaded. Very inefficient software for what I need. I searched for the comparison to XI Pro and am not convinced it is any better.
Some issues: preloaded stamps cannot be removed, each stamp has to be selected every time (9 would remember the last used), you cannot copy multiple objects using the control button, you cannot save a custom sheet sized when printing (previously you could, issue of width/length for some sizes being backwards still…

  9. Superscript styling not retained when using Comment to mark-up a PDF

I have recently upgraded to Adobe Acrobat Pro DC. For my work, I need to mark-up PDFs using Comment tools. When I style some text as superscript using either the feature available in the box that appears when I right click or the shortcut ctrl/shift/+ and then close the pop-up box the styling becomes subscript instead of superscript. I used Adobe Acrobat Professional 8 for a long time and didn't have any problems. It is very frustrating that this doesn't work properly in Adobe Acrobat Pro DC, especially as 'superscript' is offered as a feature in Comments

  10. Comments 'check boxes' saving/showing for other users viewing PDF file

When 'ticking off' comments that have been actioned on a PDF, when saved, those ticked check boxes don't show if someone else opens the PDF.

Please can the check box state be saved also, so all users can see what has been actioned (and save us all a lot of time going over amends!)

  13. Text Call Out from Comment Section incorrectly moves with arrow keys.

Text Call Out from Comment Section incorrectly moves with arrow keys. While selected this tool moves down/left by all keys only. All other comment tools allow you to move items around / position by selecting the item and using the arrow keys while this one programmed different. Only solution is use the pick tool to grab and move with mouse.

  14. Korean comment does not work properly

I don't know if it happens in languages other than Korean (at least not in English).
If I try to modify a comment, the last character I type is appended at the back.
For example, if I wrote "Hello world" and tried to add "Hi " at the front, last character "i" is added at the back so it becomes "HHello worldi". (This does not happen in English as I said)

  15. setting to open sidebar with comments by default

Please create a preferences setting so that the commenting sidebar opens by default when opening a document. That's what I use 99% of the time, and it's irritating to have to open that up every single time.

  16. Comment list takes too long to load

Getting comment list to show in Acrobat DC takes way too much time. It's a drag. At least on Mac OS.

  20. Feedback

I know that we need to keep the straight line on until I am finished with it instead of having to click on it every time I need to use it. I would like my three tier task bar back. Having to constantly click on the additional menu takes valuable time away from my project. Editing may be better but since I use Adobe to facilitate my bidding process, adding steps only hampers progress. Although I have Adobe Pro DC, I am going back to my Adobe Pro 9 since it was the last program that suites my business to…
