  1. When I have a selection in an insertion and try using the Text Properties bar to change the font size, the focus regularly jumps away, the font size changes on its own, and/or the selected text deselects.

  2. Adobe Acrobat Pro DC ver 18.011.20058 continually freezes while highlighting. Any changes made are lost if not saved before freezing. Happens across multiple machines. Only way to restart editing is to use task manager and kill the process then reopen losing the changes made.

  3. I would like to be able to have a default setting for the review date. I want to have no deadline for 95% of all my cases. But every single time I need to manually set it to no deadline.

    Also I have noticed that I get error message when trying to open the adobe tracker icon if acrobat is not on. So I need to click ok on both before I can open the tracker inside acrobat. But if Acrobat is up an running it works.
    I have reinstalled Acrobat but the error comes back after a while.

  4. Is there a way to make this happen? I also tried exporting the pdf to Word and there was still no way to make the change happen automatically. I guess I should have exported the entire document to Word in the first place and done all my edits there. Now I have over 500 edits to insert by hand -- double the work.

  6. I understand that you can import stamps, but it is way too complicated. Adobe should come with more standard stamps. I use Adobe to create and review tax workpapers. There is no easy way to add a check mark next to items I have reviewed without several clicks per check mark. This process should be a standard feature and easily accessible.

  7. Click Send for Shared Commenting and follow the steps in wizard to add a note and recipients, and so on. When complete, the message appears that the email is created in the email program, but the email is never created. Usually it would appear in the Outbox, and could be sent. Nothing ever appears.

    As a workaround, I tried to "send file, attach to email' to send the review enabled pdf. The email opens with the pdf attached, and i sent. First time i got an error that the file could not be found, and the email was not sent.…

  8. Everything is a bug in this latest update. Adobe DC is for "Destroying Careers". Slow, unstable and the sticky notes feature is the worst ever. I am reading and copying text from the sticky notes and this happens:

    The yellow boxes shakes, like a vibration.
    The text on it are over an yellow background and when you do the action: select + copy, it simply "enters" the text and replaces the background by a white one and you have to SELECT AGAIN. :(

  10. I use Acrobat Standard DC v.2015.006.30417
    Each time I close a document, I get another screen which I then need to click on to close my document. I've seen, online, comments regarding a box, in General Preferences, that can be checked to eliminate this feature, but my version does not have the box.
    What can I do to stop this very annoying activity?

  11. I am trying to move my colleagues away from .docx to .pdf. Unfortunately we often have to review older version of a file that has been modified. How can we do this in DC? Can we?

  12. The arrow in the comment section will not change color... It seems to be locked, but when i click on Properties the Locked box is uncheck. The only way to change the color is to make it a default, every time.

  13. Be inability to stamp a sheet with a keyboard command is mind-boggling.I know I can select the stamps options menu with Command K but from there that is no way with the keyboard to apply the stamp to a page. This dramatically lengthens my workflow when having to apply stamps to multiple sheets in the document.

  14. In a previous version of Acrobat (I believe it was version 9) it was possible to filter comments by color. Please bring back this feature, it was one of the most useful features of Adobe Acrobat. As a technical author, I need to add lots of different comments that are directed to different people. Some are only relevant for the illustrators, some for the developers, others for fellow writers, etc.
    Sometimes I also categorize the status of comments by color. E. g.:
    - green --> done
    - orange --> needs some clarification
    - red --> can't/won't be done

    In previous versions of Acrobat, it was possible to copy and paste not only written (text) comments, but it was possible paste lines, boxes, ovals, clouds and other comment features from one page to another page.

    This is of importance because we use Acrobat to mark up floor plan drawings and send those comments back to the Architect for review and correction. The current version of Acrobat, as far as I am concerned, is broken because it no longer permits…

  16. when adding a simple text comment, there is no functionality of right justifying the text (or anything other than left justify for that matter). It would be great to be able to do that, much like one can if one uses a text box comment.

  17. This doesn't happen all the time but it's enough to be annoying and it doesn't just happen on one of our Macs in the studio. When copying out of either comments or text in the PDF itself, InDesign which has a document we want to copy into open, crashes. It's not the active application, Acrobat is but once CMD + C is pressed to copy from Acrobat, that's the moment that InDesign crashes.

  18. When one clicks the highlight icon or comment icon (accidentally or on purpose) one is committed to doing more highlighting or commenting. The best one can do right now is click some other icon. One wants to go back to just selecting text. (The same should hold for other icons.)

  19. The company I work for uses a lot of text boxes when marking up client PDF files obtained during our audits. The lack of ability to set a default font size, color, and style for every text box we add is very time consuming. I realize there is still a feature to set the default text box fill and outline, however I do not want 12-point RED font as my predetermined default every time I choose to add a text box. PLEASE bring this feature back!

  20. Bug report: Acrobat Pro Compare documents is missing noticeable changes from the old document to new document using the "Reports, spreadsheets, magazine layouts" option.

    Can be reproduced by using the Compare Documents feature and comparing an older document to a newer document.

    Version: 2015 Release (Classic) 2015.006.30355
    OS: Windows 10, Windows 7, Server 2012R2

    Expected Result: Compare documents feature should catch noticeable changes in the document from the old document to new document.
