  1. I probably don't use this feature like many do, but I used to use the 'comment' feature on my touchscreen to annotate notes with a stylus. As a teacher, I like to project the notes I've typed and write on screen with the pen. With the new update, it's hard to find all of the controls to do this. I've managed to find some, but it's not a straightforward.

  2. Stop telling me every scanned document is editable and posting a 'Start Now' button. If I want to edit it I will go to the menu feature that says 'Edit'. I don't need suggestions every time taking up space on my screen I need to see the document.
    Thanks.

  3. Adobe needs to create a functionality that distinguishes highlights from comments. I have a long PDF with several thousand highlights, and it's nearly impossible to find my comments (which is the point of adding them) because you can't filter solely for comments when they're attached to highlights. if Kindle can do it, so can Adobe! Please add this feature; it is long overdue and makes operating within PDF so tedious.

    Dear User,

Thank you for your valuable feedback!

We would greatly appreciate it if you could provide us with more details about the feature improvement you are suggesting. If possible, sharing a screenshot or screen recording of the issue you are facing would be incredibly helpful for us to better understand your concern.

Based on your feedback, our understanding is that you would like a filter option that distinguishes between empty highlights and highlights that contain notes. Please confirm if our understanding aligns with your request.

Your input is essential in helping us improve our services, and we are eager to address any issues you may encounter. Please feel free to share any additional information you think might be relevant.

    Regards,

    Arvind

  4. Paint has the tools needed for commenting on eg a Music Score under PDF. Why re-invent the wheel with the clumsy clunky and partly unavailable Adobe Drawing tools under 'Edit'. Suggest collaboration with Paint and huge de-cluttering of the highly confusing and awfully corporate Adobe platform. Pro very poor value and re set password an Odyssean journey.

  8. a lot of us use the stamp tool frequently, it is very cumbersome, needs to do many clicks to stamp for each page.
let the user choose a default stamp to use repeatedly with one click only. other PDF software can do it. such as PDF-X change editor. I am sure The King- -acrobat DC pro should able to do it.

  9. This topic shows as resolved but it isn't (for years now...)

PLEASE Don't make the user go through a menu to check off a comment! You DOUBLE the time it takes to go through comments.
PLEASE ELIMINATE the need to go through a dropdown menu just to check off a comment.

IT WAS FINE to have a checkbox. It took HALF THE TIME.

  10. Working in Acrobat software is very much efficient and when we transpose the same approach in Document Cloud for multiple users, our clients faces many challenges in reviewing the document with limited commenting tools.

The following are the some basic tools which are missing in Adobe Document Cloud:
    1. For replacing text
    2. For inserting text
    3. Add text box (similarly like given Acrobat software in commenting tool)

Due to the current limitations in the Cloud platform, we have held our approach towards the Cloud platform and have been using the Acrobat software to gather comments from multiple users which…

  11. Dear Adobe, my organization extensively uses commenting features on PDFs but occasionally the way that text is recognized creates problems for highlighting and text selection; in particular, a common failure mode is to try to highlight a sentence but then text above and below it is also selected as if the text is actually organized as a column.

Notwithstanding the underlying issue, this and other occasions mean that it would sometimes be more useful to be able to use the freeform "marker" style highlighter (with the circular cursor outline instead of the text selector style) regardless of the state of…

  12. Acrobat automatically groups drawing tool (pencil) marks together, which is sometimes desirable and sometimes not. Why is there no option to right-click and group/ungroup pencil marks like there is for arrows, lines, and shapes? If I want to add a separate comment for each pencil mark, I undo the latest mark(s) and try to "trick" Acrobat by highlighting something or adding a shape, comment, etc. and then adding the second pencil mark. Sometimes this works and sometimes I have to do this multiple times. Then I go back and delete the unwanted highlight/shape/comment. If I create another pencil mark later,…

  13. OS: Windows10
Version: Acrobat DC continuous Release 2020.013.20074 (ja_JP)

    Step to reproduce.
    1. Switch to the annotation tool and select the text on the PDF.
    2. Start typing from the keyboard and enter the correction details to open a window and display the input details. Click Text Properties and specify a superscript for the text in the window.
    3. When we press the post button, it will be reflected in the list of annotations, but the superscript part will change to subscript.

This bug exists only on Windows. Superscripts are reflected normally on macOS.

    Expected result
    Superscripts are displayed normally…

  14. When using the pen, allow the user to scroll, etc, by using a finger touch. At the very least, make scrolling with a two finger touch possible. Otherwise, you need to keep switching tools when reading through and commenting on the PDF.

  17. When editing a text box the text does not provide a preview of what it will look like at a certain width with the text wrap. This is a feature Bluebeam has that makes it quick and easy to see how the text box will appear as you adjust the size, saving time.

  19. A couple weeks ago I set my font in preferences/content editing/font options as 10 point Cambria. Every day the first time I type comments on a PDF the font that starts off is 12 point Helvetica. As far as I can tell Acrobat Standard DC makes no use of the information a user puts into preferences/content editing/font options.I don't care that much about whether I am typing in Helvetica versus Cambria but I correct the Acrobat font from 12 point to 10 point every workday. There are some features of your new Acrobat that I like better than the old…

  20. Please allow us to set our preference for what mode acrobat opens to at startup. All I do is comment on pdfs, and it is extremely tedious to always have to choose "comment mode" and then set up my properties toolbar the way I want it every time. I can modify my work space in other adobe products, why not this one?
