Draw Line
You used to be able to click on Draw Line and it would remain on until you clicked it off. Please bring this back. It is a pain to keep having to clicking every time you draw a line.

highlighter malfunctions and is far too large
When I go to highlight text, the highlighter is the size of about half a page. Other forums suggested that this had to do with formatting by acrobat, but it happens in all documents. This feature is virtually useless. Perhaps its a bug that could use fixing.

Comments aren't filtering correctly
When I filter by name, not all of the comments that user contributed are showing in the right-hand pane. It's really problematic because those comments are being skipped over and not getting a response.

No "select all comments" shortcut?
I have Pro DC. I want to be able to use ctrl A to select all comments. (I believe I was able to do this in Pro XI.)

Setting Text Callout Bubble Sizes
You need to be able to set the text callout bubble height and width of the comment boxes without having to resize every single one individually. This is a huge waste of time. And I think it would make this program more efficient.

comment pane color indication sync'd with color of comment in the pages (lines, circles, highlights, etc.)
In previous versions of Acrobat, in the Comments pane, there was an visual indicator of the color of the comments (comment bubble, lines, circles, highlights, etc.). But in Acrobat DC all the comments look the same. The color changes based on the AUTHOR NAME, which I suppose might be useful for some people, but not for me. The color of the comments in the comments pane needs to reflect the color of the actual comment, as it did in previous versions.

paste url
Unbelievable to me that I can't just simply paste a URL from a site into a comment box. Shows up as text squares as though it can't find the font helvetica
For some reason I can just paste it right onto the page, but not into a comment box.1 vote -

Comment popup text very difficult to Select and Copy to clipboard
Open an existing comment bubble popup that has text in it. Select (highlight) the text. Now just move the mouse cursor slightly outside of the comment popup boundary. The text you highlighted becomes unhighlighted! I can’t even express how maddeningly frustrating this is. We have hundreds of edits a day that we need to copy the comment text out of Acrobat.
We are CONSTANTLY selecting the text, hitting COMMAND+C, switching over to a different program to paste, only to realize that either nothing gets pasted in or the text from the previous edit is still on the clipboard. I finally…

2) Allow me to select arrowheads on both ends of a rule.
3) Allow me to select arrowheads for connected lines.1 vote -
Image highlight (freehand) tool anywhere on page (including text)
Image highlight (freehand) tool anywhere on page (including text)
The image/freehand highlighter tool only appears when hovering the cursor over an image. However would be great to have the tool available over text or blank space on the pdf.
Also the preview highlight thickness (before mouse button release) is not the same as the final highlight thickness (after mouse button release).
For the text highlighter, it would be nice to be able to move the ends of the highlight by dragging (to highlight more or less text).

Contextual Menu Needs Improvement
The contextual menu with Acrobat Pro DC leaves a lot to be desired. There is no option for underline. There is no obvious way to select what the user actually would like to have in the contextual menu as with other apps.

Dynamic Date Stamp and Date Time Stamp
Some Forms (IRS) restrict areas of the document where you can enter information. This can be helpful, except when you need to sign and date the form after you have filled it in. For some reason the "date" part of the form will not accept text from "Fill and Sign", but it will accept a stamp. All of the default dynamic stamps in Acrobat have additional, un-needed text like "Approved', etc.
Please add two dynamic stamps that have ONLY 1) the Date and 2) Date and Time without any additional verbage so that the user can quickly sign AND date…

Commenting issues
I do a lot of commenting and the commenting tools used to work much better.
Here are my top wishes:
1. Instant 'add note to replace text'. It used to work, so that if you highlighted a word or a sentence, all you needed to do was to start writing and the text would appear in a blue comment box.
2. When reviewing comments in a document, I really need an up and down arrow, so I can jump through all comments one at a time.
3. Allow for ALL the commenting tools to be available in the main tool…7 votes -
Comment Windows: Display Sticky Note Color
In Acrobat 9, the "comments" window displayed the COLOR of the corresponding sticky note (there was a small sticky note icon in each window that showed the color of the corresponding note). It was possible to quickly view and navigate to related pages/sections of the PDF even if the page was not directly viewable; I could quickly scan for all comments that were associated with a RED sticky note, or a BLUE one, etc, by simply scrolling through the comments -- it was not necessary to view the actual page of the PDF to check the color of the sticky note.

Additional Stamps Previously Available in Acrobat XI Standard
There used to be a wide variety of stamps available for accountants some of which were encircled numbers and letters as well as accounting tick marks which included check marks TB GL and things of the sort. I was told these were not put into the newer versions of acrobat but are extremely useful when marking up workpapers. Please add this feature into Acrobat 2017 Pro
