  1. I would like the font selectors in adobe products to be more like a search menu, the code for doing "Live Search" is very simple so if i type "ari" all arial fonts will show up in the short list.

  2. It does not seem possible to edit Portfolio's metadata it gathers when converting outlook PST files. The From, To, CC, and BCC fields may contain confidential email addresses under Texas law, and there does not appear to be a way to remove/edit/redact that metadata. Currently, we must extract the PDFs from Portfolio and then re-combine them. However, when doing so, we lose the order of the emails unless more manual labor is used, since the date of each email is also lost. Being able to remove/edit/redact confidential email addresses would make a huge positive impact on governmental entities being able…

  3. It would be very useful if Adobe allowed files to be merged with alternating pages. E.G Odd numbered pages scanned by a single sided scanner saved as file 1. Even numbered pages scanned by same single sided scanner saved as file 2. Combine File 1 with file 2, with alternating pages taken from each file i.e. File1Page1 + File2Page1 + File1Page2 + File2Page2.....

  7. With Adobe Cloud Integration, we are able to one click to edit and save changes to PDFs directly back to SharePoint libraries. However, there is no way for us to programmatically create these links. This means that I can't create a hyperlink in any SharePoint provider hosted add-ins, and users are forced to click multiple times in order to make changes to to PDFs that are stored in SharePoint libraries. Further worsening the problem, if the user opens the PDF in the Adobe browser extension it saves a copy to their Adobe Document cloud instead of back to the SharePoint…

  8. Creating a web link inside a pdf and the underline setting works while in the Acrobat app but once you save and open in Mac preview it shows up as a rectangle. Color effect is correct at least. I also tried opening in Chrome and no rectangle or underline although the link feature still works.

  9. We create patterns for sewing and want to put a multi-page pattern in A4 format for each size on one layer. A document sometimes contains up to 80 pages per clothing size. A pattern has in the cut up to 11 sizes.

Wish: The document should be able to be placed on a layer with one click. Until now, each page has to be assigned individually! to the respective target page of the respective layer - we are talking about 880 pages that have to be assigned manually.

  10. The default behavior of Acrobat DC when pasting text boxes, images, and other items is to paste the object in the center of your screen.

This is not desirable in some situations, as it requires you to move your mouse to the center of the screen to grab the object then move it to where you just had your mouse, which is where the object should have been pasted to begin with. This is especially true when dealing with detailed documents and/or drawings where moving the mouse from its location makes it difficult to align correctly to the existing elements.

  12. I found that editing in the new version makes PDF very slow and frustrating. When adding a straight line I have to drag from left and right to get a suitable line length that is needed.

Just give users a straight line with one click they can drag its length.

  13. I don't create or edit PDFs very often, but when I do, finding the right font is frustrating. First, you can't tell what they look like because they all look the same in your list. Please make them show up in the list like they would look in the document. Second, I only use a few fonts. Let me prioritize the list so my most used fonts show first. I have the subscription Acrobat DC Pro running on an M1 based iMac and an iPad Pro, in case it makes a difference in what features are available between platforms.

  14. The setting process is complicated and inconvenient when working with links.
So, it would be nice to have an existing link editing window on the right.

  15. When scrolling a PDF document with highlighted text using the two-finger gesture on a trackpad, text that is highlighted when creating a Comment does not visually scroll properly. See the attached video. Same problem occurs when using the cursor to scroll the page (not captured in the attached video). Reproduced on several documents

    Steps:
    1. Select text
    2. Bring up contextual menu
    3. Select Highlight Text
    4. Write and post a comment
    5. Scroll page: text creates a visual "ladder" while scrolling and then the page is re-drawn.

  16. Why don't I have the ability to fully edit documents? I have no way of adding any drawing objects like lines, circles, boxes, etc. I am paying $15.89 per month, It seems like I would be able to fully edit a document with a group of basic tools ($15.89 x 12 = $190.68 per year)

  18. When sending a sharable pdf document to several people so they can edit it we need to have access to all editing tools. Currently, when you open a regular pdf, there are 13 editing tools available. When you open the cloud-based sharable document, there are only 5 tools. We used to be able to have a shareable pdf AND access to all tools but no longer.

  19. I want the framed box back. I put all kinds of status notes on PDFs and with the true Text-Box I could see them when browsing in Explorer.

Hidden comments or hidden sticky notes are useless for this purpose.
