front page skews when using organize pages
I am capturing cover images from scanned pdf documents in Acrobat Pro desktop. I have the new interface, and this problem is not something I experienced with the old interface. Also, these were documents that I did not create, so I don't know if it's trying to revert to a previous page setting. The problem is that the cover page (page 1) skews whenever I use organize pages. It doesn't happen with files consistently, which is why I suspect it may be trying to revert to a previous page setting for these documents.

Acrobat Pro version 2023.006.20380 Combine Files page is dead
The Combine files page has three clickable buttons and they are all dead. Nothing happens. Serious bug.
Update: I installed macOS 14.2.1 and that freed up the buttons. But a second problem now: attempting to save a PDF of a scan results in the error message in the screenshot:2 votes -
Default language set to English with Arabic support on Adobe Pro
After re-installing Adobe Pro due to problems with crashing, when adding text to a PDF document, typing a colon or number would result in the digits moving to the left of all the text and appearing in a non-English font. On googling the issue, I found a thread referring to the fact that the Language default in Preferences may be set to "English with Arabic support" with all options for "Editing in Middle Eastern Languages" toggled on. This was the case for me and I reset the Application Language Preference to Same as operating system and toggled the Middle Eastern…

BUG: Edit PDF feature in Acrobat v23 is very difficult to use now
I don't mind the new interface, but there are so many bugs in the latest Acrobat update that I'm not able to use the Edit PDF tool outside of very simple tasks. Here's some of the things I'm not able to do now,
- I'm not able to select multiple objects, text boxes, etc. with the Shift key
- I'm not able to select multiple items by dragging the mouse over several objects, text boxes, etc.
- When I try to add text on top of an existing text box (like a line on a form), the new text box is now added…

Errors every time I save the document.
Every time I save the document, characters are omitted at random throughout the document. It is impossible to edit even on the web version and will randomly change fonts when I copy and paste text to different pages within the same document.

Bug: worst case file handling wrong
- Topic: bad PDF file handling in worst case situations.
- Situation: you open a PDF from a network drive and start to edit, then the network connection gets lost. Several issues might now occur, see below.
- Windows 10
- It would be expectable that Acrobat can still save the file, because it resides in memory or Acrobat has a cache and can save from there.
- What happened: A file has been opened from a network drive, something that's common in companies with many PCs. The first issue was that this approx. 40 MB file had a lot of comments and while scrollin/skipping…

read mode
Would be nice to be able to highlight words, sentences, or sections while in read mode. Give it a more realistic feel and allow you to read and mark important sections.

Form field date format dd/mm/yyyy
When specifying a date field in a form there is just about every date format available except dd/mm/yyyy - it has to be added as a custom format each time. This is commonly how dates are written in Australia/NZ, would be very handy to have this in the list.

Highlighting stops working
After typing in a PDF, the highlight feature, which pops up automatically when one selects text, stops working. One must select 'edit' and then 'document' to turn it back on. This is wasted effort and time when one does a lot of highlighting - quite common when reading scientific papers

Bug: file jumps back a number of pages after rotating a page
When rotating a single page in a multi-page document, the document will jump back a number of pages, requiring me to scroll back to the page I just rotated. This happens about 80% of the time that I rotate a page with no observable action that causes the jump.

Acrobat feature request: Edit in Illustrator or Photoshop
For Creative Cloud subscribers, why isn't there a feature to "Edit in Illustrator (or Photoshop)" in Acrobat?
My PDF download preferences are set to open in Acrobat (browser and email) and as a designer, I often need to edit the PDFs I receive in Illustrator.
I know Acrobat has a feature to edit PDFs but it is inferior (and laggy) compared to Illustrator.
It would be helpful to have such a feature available to CC subscribers.

highlight entire pdf prepare form
need an option to highlight the entire pdf when preparing a form to change features like read only and lock it. either give an option to highlight the entire form or by page (where the field box is on the right side) that way we can edit properties faster and conveniently.
