  1. Please stop floating menus over document content. This covers up important information. Your most recent flop: When adding a text box, the font menu covers up the same box and one cannot edit it. Stop this nonsense. Acrobat keeps deteriorating with each "upgrade" since 2005. If you attend a entry level web programming class at a good university, you can learn how to design efficient user interfaces. Tell that your incopmetent manager.

  2. Would love to see the edit functionality as an a-la-cart feature that I can purchase. I prefer not to purchase the entire Pro DC or Standard DC package b/c I don't need any of the other features that come with the plan.

  3. I want to be able to simply delete open my pdfs and if I dont like the first page, delete it while I am looking at it and it simply pulls the second page to the top of the list. Is this not possible?? I know I can go to Organize Pages and delete from there, BUT I cant see the pdf. It shrinks them all down so I cant tell which one I want/need to delete!!

  4. Our organization uses SharePoint Online provided through Office 365 hosting. SharePoint is the primary location to store files.

It's possible to use Acrobat to open documents from SharePoint, edit them and save those changes back to the SharePoint server.

If we open a new PDF with Acrobat, then attempt to save over an existing file on our SharePoint server, we encounter the following error:

Adobe Acrobat could not access the network. Please verify your computer's network connection and try again.

There are workarounds to this problem, but it would be useful to our users if Acrobat would simply save the…

  5. On Windows 10 Enterprise, Version 1803, Build 17134.523
    Acrobat Pro DC, Version 2019.010.20069

Normally, to shrink files before sending them out, I go to File -> Print -> Properties -> Default Settings -> and select "Smallest File Size." This works fine until I have an Uber receipt in my list of files. During the process of Acrobat shrinking the file, I get the error message that is attached below. I've also attached the specific type of Uber receipt that results in the error. I haven't had this issue with any other type of file.

  6. I’m using Acrobat DC but I came from Acrobat Pro 6/7. Editing text in PDF on Acrobat 6/7 was almost perfect. On Acrobat DC working on same PDF files, is unworthy of a commercial product. Even editing a single character broke layout completely on DC. Same file on Acrobat 6/7 I could replace entire paragraphs without an issue. Even free apps perform better than DC on my files.

Btw, Word exporting is almost perfect and I can edit files as I want. But you should improve features, not destroy them.

  7. I just spent the last 2 hours trying to change the margins and the paragraph spacing on a simple document with just 4 pages.

YOU MUST GO BACK TO THE DRAWING BOARD AND MAKE YOUR TOOLS MUCH MORE USER FRIENDLY TO THE AVERAGE PERSON. UNTIL ADOBE FIGURES OUT HOW TO MAKE THEIR TOOLS MORE USER-FRIENDLY, YOU WILL CONTINUE TO LOSE CUSTOMERS IN THE MEANTIME. GREAT TOOLS AND RESOURCES - awful user-friendly applications. When we spend 2 hours with an Adobe customer support person on chat who cannot even do this simple task with time efficiency, then it is clear to…

Thank you for the feedback. I have forwarded your request to the engineering team. They will reach out to you if any more information is needed.

  8. After working with Kalpana for over an hour it was found the Acrobat Pro DC issue was coming from OS Mojave. I am unable to use the link tool in the manner it is described. In the past when adding links you could draw your rectangle box as large or as mall as you needed, now in Mojave it goes in and out and it staggers or goes away when trying to make a smaller box. I use this option daily and the issue just started when i installed Mojave.

  9. Gross lack of basic text formating. Why is this? If the product allows Font selection/ sizing, and paragraph justification then indentation is a must.

Numbering: Unable to start with a specifc letter or number....why not?

Font type: I have to scroll down a list, why can't I type the first letters and it comes to me?

  11. I have a number of Watermark and Header/Footer "Saved Settings" on one Mac (desktop) that I would like to export from it and import into another Mac (laptop). These include page number specs for different page sizes. It would be a great time saver if, once those were saved in one computer, they could be exported into another without entering in the specs from scratch.

  12. Hi. Its very strange that Adobe is not developing an Android platform for Adobe DC pro to make it possible for us, your customers, to edit, change and create PDFs on our android tabletts, not just on usual PC and Mac desktop as it is now. It´s 2019. actually and more and more people are travelling with their Pads or Tabletts without their PCs or Mac´s . The future is in Android and OS and not in Windows and Mac´s that are on the way to go to history. Can you give us a hope at least,

  13. Can we please have the ability to draw real shapes (rectangles, circles, etc) in the Edit PDF view? I know that we can draw these shapes in the Comment view but it's not good enough - doing it that way makes it impossible to adjust certain aspects of the shapes (like, "Send to Back" or "Bring to Front" - those options do not exist in the Comments view, but when you go to the Edit PDF view, shapes that were drawn in the Comments view are untouchable. They are always on Top and obscure anything else that is in the PDF…

  14. Why it is impossible to have editing options as they were previously? Can a 'Classic view' be added for those of us older than 5?
Everything in this new 'charms' based UI is fussy and time-consuming. I've been using Acrobat since its inception and now I'm having to relearn nearly everything. WHY?
It wasn't broken, so the need to 'fix it' has created a frustrating experience.

  15. Please make it easier to move text. I have spent hours (and am developing RSI) trying to move text that I have moved before - it takes dozens/hundreds of clicks to get the box around the text to show sufficiently to grab it and move it. I spent the $$ for AA Pro DC, so thought such a basic thing would have been fixed .... Please let me know when it is fixed so that I can edit my document without wasting any more time - I have a week or so before it goes to the printers ... Thanks

  16. When I edit a document, I do not necessarily want to edit existing text. I do not want Acrobat to do an OCR process on the document and create uncountable text boxes (that can easily be messed up), when all I wanted to do was either crop the image or add a text box. Please allow the OCR conversion to be toggled off.
Also when scanning, if you go into an option like increase resolution, all of the changes (like selection of document size) made on the previous screen are lost and have to be entered again Too time consuming!

  17. PLEASE fix so text boxes stop combining. I KNOW Acrobat is not an "editiing" app but I have to make contact sheets from multiple products and sources from Adobe Bridge. Then the client needs a couple changes, or we need to update an area on the contact sheet ONLY. Constantly have to fight to redo text. Not editable in other apps - Illustrator can only open one page at a time. Can't edit PDF in Indesign. Can't edit in Word. These are NATIVE pdf's from Bridge. Thank you.

  18. This has been reported on another thread and marked as solved - it isn't. I have just purchased a copy of Acrobat Pro and am unable to edit .pdf's, which is precisiely why I bought it. The subscription simply isn't worth the money without this capability.

I have noticed some suggested solutions but these are highly technical and not something I would have access to do at work.

Could a solution be suggested - fast - as it seems as though this is quite a common error?

  19. Yes, you have a tool to underline, but not for undoing underlining. I have spent hours attempting to undo underlining, along with undoing bold. As secretary of a Property Owners Association, I NEED these.
