  3. This would help with typing as it would allow you to replace text and edit text without it covering other parts of the document.

  4. This just started in the past week. When I edit a PDF, usually by dragging pages from another PDF, sometimes is will lose the original filename, create a new one that seems to be a random string of characters followed by .tmp. If I do "Save As', it tries to save it under that .tmp filename. I have to go back to where I originally opened the document and save over the one I started with. It doesn't happen every time, but I would guess about 70% of the time. I had to do this no less than 15 times…

  5. Bug Report: Adobe Acrobat Pro isn't reading the embedded scale of a PDF. Measure tool is measuring at the default scale 1:1 inch. When I open the same document in Foxit, the distance tool measures at the embedded scale as expected.

  6. Please return the feature where anybody can write down note on pdf file where the note is exactly needed. To write down arrows and instructions that is understandable by the users. This is so useful in exchanging ideas and easily giving instructions using both texts and sketches.

  7. If I open a PDF through the File Explorer (File library) and still have the file chosen in File Explorer (Highlighted in Explorer) it is not possible to save the file after commenting or editing. (another user may have the file open ...)
Please make it possible to save a PDF even if it is highlighted in File Explorer, since this a normal way of working with PDFs.

  10. I edit PDFs on the regular and the old system was easy, I could run through it with minimal fuss. A lot of the PDFs I receive are scanned and come through upside down. I could click and drag pages from one PDF to another by hovering over the tab and drop it into the new PDF. I could rotate the whole document and drag and drop pages into the document with all the pages oriented in the same direction.

    Now... well...

I can rotate the whole document with a keyboard shortcut which is nice, except when I go to…

  11. I often highlight and add text to PDFs. The current workflow is cumbersome, especially when I need to switch from one feature to other.

Given that it's a premium product, I find that there are just so many unnecessary toolbar options visible while the tools I need often require multiple clicks and cumbersome navigation.

I often find myself hiding all toolbars left, top and right. Worst part is app doesn't remember my settings so I have to hide these toolbars everytime.

Would be nice to have a student mode which provides a light mode version, allowing highlighting and adding/deleting text.

  12. Using a form, one can easily insert images and they will automatically resize when using Adobe Acrobat on a computer; however, this same features does NOT work when using the Adobe Acrobat app on an iPhone. Could you please add this feature to the app as it would be very helpful for inserting pictures into a form and having them automatically resize? I would use this feature for construction site inspections, and I imagine other people would find it helpful too if they didn't have to resize an image each time it was inserted. Thank you for your consideration of…

  16. When "Promote Gray to CMYK Black is selected, all neutral and near-neutral grays in an RGB files are converted into a predominantly black color.

When this function is disabled, the grays are converted into CMYK as encoded in the target ICC profile.

The expected behavior is that only grayscale images are moved to the black channel of a CMYK image.

The only explanation in Acrobat's online User Guide is as follows:

"Promote Gray To CMYK Black - Converts device gray to CMYK."

This function should not change the way an RGB image is converted into CMYK. This conversion should be…

  18. Need a true Autosave function (NOT AUTORECOVER).
Some pdf's I'm editing need to be saved to their folder every X minutes. I have the so-called "autosave" set up in preferences, but this only works in the event your system crashes or shuts down. I need one that simply saves every so often. Sometimes I make a mistake while editing and in that event, I close the pdf and re-open it to load the last saved version. But I don't always remember to save frequently enough. MS Office has this type of autosave, why not Adobe?

  20. I don't know if this is because I'm relatively new to Acrobat but I'm finding the interface to be quite counter-intuitive. If I want to zoom or pan using the mouse, I have to select the Hand tool, but then select a different tool if I want to move left or right? For some reason the hand tool won't actually move me around the document, which I would have thought was its primary function. Why can't there be a single tool that allows me to zoom in and out, and move around the document at the same time? This would…
