  1. I am TRYING to collaborate on a PDF with a colleague, so I shared it with him utilising Acrobat's "Share this file with others" link, after I had added check marks and comments to sections of it. After coming back to it (he hasn't even opened it yet) I can't edit the document anymore and it's infuriating as I've essentially lost all of the work I've done thus far. PLEASE FIX this glaring bug!!

  2. In Acrobat Pro DC, would love an easy way to set the PDF page dimensions. Sometimes need to crop a page smaller and sometimes need to make larger and add white border. I'm told there might be an option for this within PreFlight, but that is hard to find and didn't seem to work at all when I tried it. (In general, the UI within PreFlight seems difficult and different.) Thanks.

  3. When trying to import or export a preflight library or a profile inside a library, the "file open" dialog does not open and instead throws a warning messagebox "Error in OS call SHGetFolderPath: -2147024829". See attached screenshot. This error of course hints to something in the underlying OS, but should be handled differently by Acrobat. For example, by instead opening a "file open" dialog in some default or safe directory instead.

I tried removing the registry key HKCU\Software\Adobe and its subkeys while Acrobat was closed. Then trying again, but it did not make any difference.

    Probably not fully reproducable on…

  6. I no longer seem to be able to use adobe and select relevant text and copy and paste it or amend - I bought the one which allowed this but for some reason now it is restricting me and the select button was removed - i can only pan.

  7. In Acrobat Pro DC on Mac, when editing a PDF, after using "Add image" you can no longer edit other elements of the document. Workaround: if you save the file, you can then properly edit again. But this seems like a bug.

  8. Recently a change was made that significantly reduces the ease of use for the Add Text Comment tool. The problem is that the cursor inside the add text area is now 2-3 times the the height of the text you are adding. Previously the text box and cursor were the same height as the font size that was selected.

  10. So I was given a form by Australian Government to fill in.
I filled it in and signed it and saved it.
    Oops there's a typo on page 1.
Can you easiliy change ths (update it). No obviously not.
This is where Adobe Acrobat DC becomes so unproductive. There is no intuative way to correct this error apart from filling out new form. Which I will do now.
    Thanks a lot Adobe...

  13. After multiple Adobe Community searches trying to find how to correct the ongoing issue of not being able to apply a simple highlight feature to PDF text in Pro DC, we began to troubleshoot the issue on our end. Thanks to our IT manager, we finally found the root problem and then resolved it to correct this issue so that the highlighter tool now works as it should. There's an error with a default setting in the program. If Adobe has already resolved the highlighter situation, that's great. If not, please contact me to chat about the corrective measure needed.…

  15. I mean, this is ridiculous. I have to cut the text, paste it into Google Docs, estimate how large it's gonna come out, resize it there and go back to Adobe Acrobat to paste it into a field? Have you thought about adding a FONT SIZE feature in your software? Maybe I'm a complete idiot but I spent 45 min googling but came to no answer... I can change the text of the form, no problem but once I'm IN the form – no can do.

  16. I have been dealing with this on a daily basis... several times a day. When viewing/editing PDFs from within Acrobat, with the Output Preview window open (either on the same screen or split) — Acrobat will crash every time that I forget to close the Preview window before viewing a different PDF (although I am doing the same task in both PDFs). I think it's slightly ridiculous to have to close the window every time.

Currently I have more than 200 single PDFs to edit (converting one spot color to another) and it is taking forever because Acrobat decides to…

  17. Please add a separate opacity scale for "fills" and "borders" in the draw shapes, or add a "no fill" option for color. Right now they have to have the same opacity, and it would be nice to add borders without a filled in box.

  18. Adobe Acrobat DC 20.013.20074 crashes repeatedly when using the spell checker in Dutch.
When correcting spelling in notes added to the text, Acrobat repeatedly crashes. This behaviour is irregular.
