Converting PDF to Word / Excel / Wordperfect / Powerpoint
We are coming from a firm that used to have Kofax Power PDF.
We decided to switch applications and go to Adobe since it integrates well with iManage. There is one feature that user's loved in Kofax which is the way to convert files from a PDF to another application just by Right-Clicking on a PDF on your Desktop for instance and converting it in to Word. You have it for converting Word, Excel, and so on to PDF. Why not include converting PDF in to other applications by right clicking. This way users dont have to open up the…2 votes -
Conversion from PDF to HL7 compliant XML
I would like to upload some medical records to the website of a new healthcare provider. I currently have these records in PDF form. The website requires that documents to be uploaded be in the form of HL7 compliant XML files. Simple XML files will not work.
I asked for chat help on your website. The chat assistant, Ajita, said that this function was not currently supported. I said I wanted to convey a suggestion to your organization to add this function. Ajita gave me this link.
I feel that this function could be of interest to many people as…

Export Anti-aliased Text/Vectors to TIFF from PDF
Export PDF to TIFF - Option to anti-alias vectors/text. Right now text and vector have jagged edges when using this export function. Rather than having to purchase 3rd party app or using Photoshop, it would be handy to export my TIFF files from a hi res PDF. I am only doing this because InDesign does not offer the ability to export to TIFF.

Convert to Adobe PDF Context Menu
When right clicking on a file from a windows explorer window, a contextual option appears to 'Cover to Adobe PDF'.
Currently it prompts the user to select a directory - usually the previous directory it was exported to, however this is never helpful as locations change often. It would be good if you could set this process to default the output directory to be where the file currently resides.

Conversion to Word Documents Could Easily Be A Lot Better
When converting PDF's to Word files, please do the following.
1. Have the margin of the page at least 2 cm in from the edge. At the moment, it often puts the left margin 0.5 cm from the edge of the page. This is never how real document are.
2. Have the minimum font size 8 pt. At the moment, it converts rows of full stops (that people are supposed to write on) to 3.5 pt full stops. Real documents never have 3.5 pt text.
3. Have tick boxes converted to tick boxes in a standard font like Arial. At…2 votes -

Automation: Sort pdf on specific criteria and then export new, reduced information to new pdf
Every week my team members print approximately a 280-page pdf of medical billing. Next, each member prints 280 pages and combs through the pdf for certain billing codes they have been assigned to enter. My hope is that with Acrobat DC there is an automated or even just a quick way to sort the 280-page pdf for specific criteria (number or word) and then export to a new, much smaller pdf that only contained the data members sort by.

HTML5 Flipbook Export
I would like to be able to Export PDFs as an HTML5 flipbook. Services around the web charge a ridiculous amount for this. Currently, this can be done as an SWF from Indesign, but not a lot of mobile devices can handle it. There has to be a better way. Even if you charged an extra $5 a month to host the files and then allowed someone to embed them (Life Flipsnack does) it would be worth it. They charge like $1000 a year.

files exported to excel showing up weird
When exporting a file to excel, the data is not only merging cells, but the data is coming over looking like jibber jabber (sorry, I don't know how else to put it). You can't see most of the data unless you click on a cell.

Problem with saving pdf to postscript and next read as PDF
When I export PDF to postscript and next create PDF from that poscript, text is viewed correct, but when I try to copy that text then all or some text is unreadable. I am using Adobe Acrobat DC. Input PDF file could be created in older version of Adobe. Do you have similar problem? I wonder if you have found a solution so you can share with me.
Thanks,

Proper table conversion from PDF to Excel/XML
I would like to request a normal PDF to Excel/XML conversion capabilities, especially in regards to a table formatting.
I understand that PDF files are not always properly created/formatted, but I do not see how it can be an issue for a good converter. The main point of converting PDF to Excel is to have a properly aligned table. I had experience with a third party PDF editing software, which costs less than Adobe Acrobat Standard and is able to automatically convert PDF to Excel with a seamless table formatting. Why Adobe, who invented Portable Document Format in the early 90s,…

Bug: export to Word is corrupt (exported files cannot be 'compared').
Prior to mid December 2016 it was possible to create a file in Indesign, export it to Acrobat, export it from Acrobat to Word and then compare it in Microsoft Word (Office 365) with another file that has been subjected to the same workflow.
Since some stage in 2017 an incompatibility was introduced and this workflow ceased to work.
I have tested this workflow by comparing the Word files produced in Deltaview/Workshare and the comparisons are unstable and unusable, so the problem is not just with Microsoft Word's comparison engine (which works fine with files created within Word).
The issue…
