  1. Using latest MS Word and latest Acrobat DC on latest MS Windows.
Creating PDF from docx file, turned off all accessibility features in Word and Acrobat. Settings maximised for best quality.
Since last week, the export is rendering some fonts as Black in the PDF, whereas in Word they are Navy blue, or white with navy background.
Rebooted, installed updates, tried other colour combinations, checked all Word and Adobe settings for accessibility. I have opened the PDF in other viewers and the problem persists. Images are all fine, it's just the font colour which changed.
    This was working ok one…

  4. I get this random bug every now and then on the paid version of Acrobat pro where when I go to combine files and make them into a PDF, I get a pop-up that says "This feature is not included in your current Acrobat license". When I go to do it a second time, I'm able to combine files. Kind of a strange bug, but it always works the second time I try and do this.

  5. Want to eliminate repetitive billing tasks? QuickBooks allows you to set up recurring payments quickly. After creating an invoice, click on “Make Recurring,” then set the template type as “Scheduled.” Define the frequency, duration, and customer details. This feature is ideal for service-based businesses that bill monthly or weekly, ensuring invoices are sent automatically without missing a due date.

  6. Combining files error
    - Trying to combine more than 16 PDF files, Adobe Acrobat will show only 16 files.
I have to end the app in task manager, the app will work normally. This error occurs every time after restarting the laptop.

  7. It would be great to be able to create href links in my source tool so that when PDFs are generated (by MadCap Flare, for example) and placed in a Portfolio they can link to specific bookmarks across PDFs. I know that links can be created across PDFs once they are in Portfolio but, if there a lot of links, they have to be re-created every time a change is made to the documentation.

  9. When using "Combine files" functionality, the order in which the document thumbnails appear used to (logically) depend on the order in which you selected the files. The document you want first in the combined PDF, you selected first, and then other files in order. Now (the last 5 years or so) no matter what order you select the files, they are always in...alphabetical order (?) in the Combine Files window. Why lose this great functionality?

  11. I only want to "star" a document once in its lifetime. Right now, I have the experience that I need to "star" the same document every time I update the document. If that's true, its idiotic, stupid Adobe engineering.

  12. BUG: PowerPoint Acrobat Add-in fails to render shapes drawn with the Drawing tools. These are the tools in the DRAW tab, pens and pencils, etc. If using the Acrobat added commands in the PPT UI, drawn shapes aren't rendered in the PDF. PowerPoint's native PDF writing works fine, it does have a checkbox to control drawn object rendering which Acrobat ignores. Sample files included.

  13. When I use PDFMaker, EMF+ images on Word documents won't be converted and remains blank.

It's PDFMaker24 with Adobe PDF Library 24.5.190. I use Windows 11 and Word 2021MSO(2501 build 16.0.18429.20132)64bit on Surface Pro 9 (Intel).

In the attached Word file, 2nd image is lost in "adobe_PDF_Maker.pdf".

If I use "Adobe PDF" printer, the image is converted normally. But I like some features of PDFMaker and really want to use PDFMaker.

    Thanks.

  14. when I have multiple images that I want to convert into a PDF I'll select them all and select create a single document with Acrobat but they are not numbered in the thumbnail. The page number appears as the name of the document. Adobe should recognize each page in the thumbnail. This creates problems because if I later want to extract a selection of page numbers I can't because it's not a page number it's a document name.

  15. I am running MacOs Sequoia 1.5x, Office 365 and Acrobat Pro, brand new installation. When opening any PowerPoint file, the error appears, 'Microsoft PowerPoint needs access to the file named "AcrobatUtils.scpt".'

Clicking "Select" leads to a Finder window that allows me to "Grant Access." This could repeat multiple times before the Acrobat tab finally appears in PowerPoint. This repeats every time I open an existing file or create a new file. This started becoming an issue with Sequoia 15.0 but is still present on 15.3.

I was able to work around this by creating a copy of the file AcrobatUtils.scpt,…

  16. For users looking to open EML files on Mac OS, the DRS EML Viewer is the smart choice. Unlike manual methods that involve lengthy processes and potential risks, this tool offers a direct and secure solution for accessing your email files.

Manual approaches often require importing EML files into email clients or converting them to another format, both of which can lead to data loss or corruption. The DRS EML Viewer eliminates these risks by enabling you to view EML files directly without any modifications. Its compatibility with a wide range of email platforms ensures that it can handle virtually…

  17. Since several years the function "Combine Files" of Acrobat (currently version 2024.005.20399 on Windows 10.0.19045) retakes the focus of Windows on every file it adds. This means that I cannot use any other Windows program as long as the tool is not ready. Especially with a large number of files this is really annoying. This did not happen in versions of five or more years ago, but has ever since. Please finally resolve this bug.

  18. DWF (Design Web Format) files cannot be converted to PDF with Acrobat 64-bit.
This feature is only allowed with Acrobat 32-bit.

For our company, reverting to the 32-bit version is not an option. Using pdf format to distribute 3D drawings to vendors\customers would be a really useful feature for us.

  20. Please remove the "+Create" button from the tab row. This has been creating a poor experience when working with multiple tabs and files. Providing an option to disable this button from it's current spot would be helpful as well.
