bug
Huge resource hog and cannot export Combine PDFs. Go to save and a blank window appears. Adobe DC is a piece of garbage. I've seen nothing but problems after XI. It's gotten slower, more buggy and the interface and process of using is even more cumbersome than ever. If your idea was to cause more users to spend more time on your software... good job! Mission accomplished! Now I need a solution since you've totally ruined me being able to use it for anything. Oh, but I pay for keeping it updated.

Missing a step in instructions for adding a attached PDF as a link in another PDF
The posted instructions for adding "attachments" inside a PDF document are missing a crucial step toward the end. If it's a file or PDF already "attached" to the main PDF, a user must OPEN the attachment BEFORE clicking on SET LINK or the link will NOT FUNCTION. See attached screen shot or this URL: https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/using/links-attachments-pdfs.html

Adobe Acrobat does not allow connection to:
It is practically impossible to publish a hyperlink in a PDF document with the current security paradigm. Converting a word to PDF results in links getting blocked in a window called Security Block, with the message "Adobe Acrobat does not allow connection to: [website domain]." You limit the reach of and potential of PDF documents by having such an unnecessarily aggressive security posture.

Split Pages Output Options Bug
Ever since the update my work computer got for Adobe Acrobat - splitting invoices has been even more time consuming. There's this new bug where every time I change my output options it doesn't save and defaults to "the same folder selected at start." This happens every time. I have to repeat this process a second time for the location to save. Also whenever I close output options window, the "Split" window should not close after I make my selection. This was not an issue in the previous version of Adobe I had.

Choose sheet size and other properties when creating pdfs from jpeg
(I have already posted this in community, but was directed here. Fortunately there is a "solution" but it is a bit laborsome, at least the first time: see here:
https://community.adobe.com/t5/acrobat-discussions/choose-sheet-size-and-other-properties-when-creating-pdfs-from-jpeg/m-p/14284448#M441904Suggestion:
Hello,
I think that the possibility to choose sheet size and other properties when creating pdfs from jpeg is missing. It is nice to be able to combine several jpegs to a pdf by the "combine function", but unfortunately, this creates huge sheets of the jpegs as opposed to the regular A4.
I had to go into each jpeg and print them from "windows photo", and that should be…

Acrobat Repeated Steals Focus When Combining Files
When combining multiple single-page PDFs into one large PDF, Acrobat steals window focus every few seconds. Acrobat is repeatedly seizing window focus and popping back on top of the other windows.
I would like to continue work while Acrobat works, but I can't. Instead, acrobat grabs the mouse and keyboard back every few seconds. This renders my computer completely unusable while Acrobat is running.
To replicate this bug:
- Select 50 PDF files.
- Right-click and choose "Combine in Acrobat"
- Inside Acrobat, click "Combine".
- Return to work.
While you are trying to work, Acrobat will continue to steal focus and push it's…

Combine Files not working on Mac
I'm on Adobe DC V23.0 on a Mac (Ventura 13.0.1 (22A400)). Create a PDF > Multiple Files > Combine Files > Next. I've tried combining 2 JPGs into a single PDF file. Used to do it all the time. Now not working. Application stops responding while on "Checking for Security Settings..."

Emoticons in Word cause PDF to not display text
Hi Adobe Support Team. I would like to report a bug in Acrobat. We added an Emoticon [Windows button PLUS dot button] in Word [Office 365]. When we want to make a PDF from this Word file, the text after the Emoticon is simply missing in the PDF version. The same happens when we add other symbols. I thought I let you know. We would be happy if you would fix this...
I have added a file which has little orange symbols. Those symbols cause the same failure as an Emoticon would do. If you remove the symbols, the PDF…

Combine Files Not working
So Combining the PDF option Creates an extra page. This does not happen when a Word document is saved and then combined. It seems that ADOBE's Conversion is either detecting Footers or Headers as a page and creating an extra page. How do we fix this? The issue is with the conversion not combining the files. Not an issue with Word since it is capable of saving as PDF without the extra pages. It would also not save certain pages.

Acrobat DC automatic footer
An Australian customer operating in the financial advisory domain would like to add a disclaimer footer notes. They would also like to have a
Customer Ask
a. Add a disclaimer footer note on documents selectively.
b. The disclaimer should auto populate once the document is imported in Acrobat.Current Process
The customer has developed a small widget at the top of the Acrobat UI through Java script which gives them the ability to add the footer once a word file is opened in Acrobat. This is however is not a fool proof solution as the user add the footer manually.

Accessibility Errors with PDF Maker Update Sept 2021
Several major bugs have been documented by users in the Adobe Community Forums since Acrobat and PDF Maker were updated on September 14, 2021.
They are:
1: Alt-Text from MS Word is not converting into the PDF. Instead, it is dropped and gibberish code is inserted. See https://community.adobe.com/t5/acrobat-discussions/alt-text-converting-wrong-from-word-to-pdf/m-p/12393017 This violates the PDF/UA-1 standard which requires that every graphic have alt-text that verbally describes the graphic.
THIS IS A HUGE BUG. You essentially have made Acrobat unusable for those who are required by their country's laws to make fully accessible PDFs.
2: Every cell border on every table cell is being…
233 votesHi,
Thank you for raising these accessibility issues. The post mentions about the following six bugs being introduced with the update that went live on September 14, 2021
1: Alt-Text from MS Word is not converting into the PDF. Instead, it is dropped and gibberish code is inserted
2: Every cell border on every table cell is being tagged as <P>PathPathPathPath
3: The underline on Hyperlinks should be tagged as artifacts
4: Borders and background shadings on Text Boxes are being tagged as a combination of <Figure>s and PathPathPath
5: Paragraph borders and shadings: same deal as #4 above.Per the PDF/UA-1 standard, they are visually decorative and should be artifacted
6: Dragging and dropping elements in both the Tag and Order panels is now broken.Would like to mention that out of these, #1 and #6 were introduced with the Sep 14 update and remaining (#2, #3, #4 & #5)…

Cannot use Arrows in Save As anymore
When pressing Save As, it was previously possible to use Arrows (keyboard) to navigate to appropriate path. With this new version, it was disabled.
It saves tons of times when you create/edit pdf (I usually do about 300-400 per week)

"Create PDF from Web Page" is broken, please fix!!
The File>Create PDF from Web Page feature is mostly broken. It's been getting worse the last few years. Today I got annoyed enough to file this bug.
This feature used to work REALLY well! I loved it! I used at least daily to test broken links in web help and other web pages. Plus, it was great for doing quick-and-dirty research--it could spider down a level or two and you could click a link in a PDF created using this method and add on new pages as you researched a topic and went in different directions (that part may still…
