  1. Text in vector graphic images (.svg/.emf) files get displaced and in some cases overlap with other objects in the image during PowerPoint to PDF conversion with Adobe. This issue wasn't present when using Adobe PDF Library 20.9.95

  2. Acrobat DC PRO recently updated and Autocad 2018 will no longer load the PDFMaker toolbars. See errors when starting autocad.

  3. For preparing manuals with PDF maker of Acrobat Pro, it is urgently required to be able to save more standard settings.

I want new PDFs to be opened as a standard with bookmark window and page, as well of Zoom in full window size.

This option must be saved individually for each PDF right now.

  4. Would like for Adobe to have command-line tools (*.exe) for use in batch scripting or any languages for merging multiple documents into ONE PDF file so the task can be scheduled to run nightly... This would be an awesome tool opposing being forced to use the GUI (a manual process).

  5. It would be extremely useful to those who use one of the various LaTeX typesetting engines (pdfLaTeX, XeLaTeX, LuaLaTeX, etc.) to have SyncTeX integration for Adobe Acrobat

  6. This is a horrendous bug that I can recreate umpteen times. If a file is exported from Indesign to Acrobat, and then the Indesign file is edited and re-exported to Acrobat, if you try to save the revised version in Acrobat, Acrobat saves the original version (which I presume it holds in memory) and ignores the revised version. The only fix I have found is to close Indesign and Acrobat and start again - this seems to clear the prior version from Acrobat. This is really dangerous for users and immensely inconvenient. Adobe please fix asap.

  7. When converting documents that contain embedded documents to PDF, the final product should keep those embedded documents intact instead of converting them to images - forcing you to go back one by one and reembed the document.

  8. Creating pdf's used to be simple. I know because I have used acrobat for 30 years. It has become a complete mess. I have tried for 30 minutes to add jpegs to a single pdf and it is still not right. Get some UX people who really know how to communicate. I can't believe how difficult this simple task has become. Sorry but it is true. I have the Adobe Creative Suite so I'm not unfamiliar with adobe. I have used photoshop for 20 years, illustrator for 20 years, premiere pro, InDesign for as long as it has been out,…

  9. Steps:
I have written up the steps in the last comment here:
    https://community.adobe.com/t5/acrobat/create-pdf-from-web-page-uses-only-light-weight-fonts/m-p/11945480
    - make an HTML file from the provided code
    - make a PDF from this HTML file
    - see if your result is different from the attached PDF in the forum post

    Environment:
Acrobat DC (CC) 21.0 on Mac OS X Big Sur 11.2.3
Helvetica Neue typeface installed with system: /System/Library/Fonts/HelveticaNeue.ttc

    Expected:
A regular (or even medium) weight of a typeface would be chosen.

    Observed:
The lightest available weight of the typeface is chosen, making the resulting PDF unreadable. PDF attached to forum post is also attached…

  10. Acrobat Pro (for the last several versions) continues to install linkCreation.com into MS Word directories, even though it is known to cause Word either to crash or to throw VBA errors. Please either fix the template or stop installing it.

  12. The Acrobat Plugin for Microsoft Outlook on Windows, which enables Users to create an Adobe PDF Portfolio from any Mailbox or Folder while preserving the "From", "Subject" and "Date" fields while also embedding all attachments, is an INCREDIBLY powerful feature that is crucial to many of our business practices. Unfortunately, at this time, this feature is only available on the Windows version of Microsoft Outlook, thus forcing me to run a Windows 10 Virtual Machine explicitly to perform this task. If the Adobe team could implement this feature on macOS versions of Microsoft Outlook, I would be incredibly grateful as…

  13. Open a viewing system such as Hathi Trust or an ebook platform. Copy a page image, 'Create PDF from Clipboard'. Repeat more than 15 times. On some occasions you cannot then create a PDF from all the open pages. However, after doing this it is then impossible to copy and paste in other windows applications as it appears that the windows clipboard has become corrupted by acrobat. A full reboot is required to fix this.

  14. My specs are in the attached screenshots.

Note: I had problems with Acrobat yesterday, so this morning I uninstalled/reinstalled the app via the Creative Cloud app.

    1. With one or more PDFs open, choose File > Create > Combine Files into a Single PDF….

    2. Add any number of files using the Add Files… command or by clicking the Add Files button.

    3. Click the Combine button.

    4. When the resulting PDF appears (Binder[n].pdf), focus returns to the last-selected open PDF.

In general the first thing I want to do when the combined file appears is save and rename it.

    It's minor but frustrating…

  16. Since switching over to Acrobat DC, when dragging and dropping files into the combine feature screen more often than not it will open the files instead of adding them to the list to be combined. This makes a slow process even more cumbersome.

  18. I would like to suggest .msg file type to be added to the list of supported files for multiple batch conversion to PDF using the 'Combine Files' feature.

I sure many users would fine this feature useful, we receive a lot of documents many of the .msg file type we need to convert into one pdf bundle together with other types.

I'm aware Acrobat has a plugin to support manual conversion of emails from Outlook to PDF, but it would be really beneficial if we could present emails and other supported files to Acrobat to convert as a batch without…

    1. PDFMOutlookCore.dll bug

    2. Since last out of cycle update on 2020-12-07 (also timestamp of the PDFMOutlookCore.dll the PDFMaker Add-in in Outlook works only shortly after Reboot for a few PDFs and then stops working, it then creates empty portfolios (see attached test.PDF) or pretents to do something but does not write any data/file to a PDF. PDF-Printing via Adobe-PDF still works from Outlook, but our Users are used to get their Work done exporting E-Mails via PDFMaker Add In.
