  2. the Acrobat add-on for HCL-Notes is not working any more after Updrading from Notes version 9 to version 10 or version 11.

  3. It would be much easier to have a translate tool in Acrobat than to take the downloaded page into Firefox, translate it, then pull it back into Acrobat.

  4. With Microsoft WORD (2016) & PDFMaker:

    With an Image with Transparency: .PNG File. Placed against a dark background (paper colour) to show the white outline that occurs around the image.

    Occurs in .PDF files when No image resolution downsampling is set, and image types are stored in NON-lossy image formats, e.g. NONE, ZIP, JPEG 2000 (LossLESS)

    It occurs at all zoom levels. But disappears when zoomed in to the maximum zoom level.

    When the resultant PDF File is later, either DownSampled or LOSSY Image comprressed (Using PDF Optimiser), the white Outlines become part of the Image and are much more…

  5. In Microsoft Word (2016).

    When Acrobat -> Preferences menu (ribbon bar) item is selected for the FIRST time since Word starts, the dialog window for PDFMaker does not display the SETTINGS tab.

  6. Acrobat Pro Feature Request

    I have a document that is approximately 6x3". I need to output this document to two different PDF deliverable files:

    1) at the 6"x3" size, for use on a tiny screen

    and

    2) on 8.5"x11" size with 3 tiny pages per sheet, for efficient printout on standard paper or viewing in PDF

    I save my source content to the 6"x3" size and get a beautiful PDF file. Deliverable 1 looks great.

    But, I cannot save my source content to PDF with multiple pages per sheet (from Word).

    Also, from Acrobat, I cannot save the output 1…

  7. Create PDF Office add-in and function in Acrobat both drop sentences, bullet points, and headers when converting files. This is only happening to the subscription-based users in the office. The users with the Tech Comm suite version of Acrobat do not have this issue.

  8. See the attached files for more info, the dev team surely has more knowledge on the file structures than I do, and the parser for whatever format is involved.

    I have an Illustrator file, created out of an old EPS one. Works fine in Illustrator and everything, exporting to PNG, for example, is no problem.

    However if the drawing gets pasted in Word (365, 64-bit 16.0.14228.20288) and one tries to create a PDF out of it using the COM Add-in the drawing isn't interpreted correctly leading to a garbled mess.

  10. Links are not working after converting a Word document to a PDF. After much troubleshooting, the cause of the issue is the number of pages. Four or more pages works as expected, three or less does not.

    To reproduce the issue, create a Table of Contents at the top of the document that links to the Headers of each section. Then Save As Adobe PDF. The expected result is that the Table of Contents will still contain links to the Headers of each section as bookmarks in the new PDF. The observed result is that the links are broken if…

  12. On older verisons of Acrobat, when triggering the combine files function, if you exited and closed the app without combining or saving the files it would give you an alert. On DC it does not and ive accidentally closed out of a ton of times where I'm half way through moving files around, combining and then accidentally close it and have to start all over. Should be an easy feature to re-add.

  14. Using Abobe Acrobat Standard 2017 - Version 2017.011.30169

    MS Office 2013

    The issuse occurs when using the Create PDF tool with MS Word and MS Excel files. You pick your file > Create > get an error from Adobe PDFMaker "An unexptected error occured. PDFMaker was unable to produce the Adobe PDF."

    The file is then silently held open in 'read only mode' and you have to kill WINWORD.exe or EXCEL.exe in task manager to release the file.

    In Word/Excel File > Save as Adobe PDF works and Printing to Adobe or Microsoft PDF works. Seems isolated to CreatePDF tool.

  15. Add an option to the Microsoft Word Adobe Acrobat driver that allows to save as PDF with the "Navigation Tab" - "Bookmarks panel and Page" property of the PDF file activated by default.
    Currently it needs to be activated manually. The driver only saves with the "Navigation Tab" - "Page Only" option.
    Other Drivers such as AutoCAD; however, save as PDF with the "Navigation Tab" - "Bookmarks panel and Page" property of the PDF file activated by default.

  16. Text in vector graphic images (.svg/.emf) files get displaced and in some cases overlap with other objects in the image during PowerPoint to PDF conversion with Adobe. This issue wasn't present when using Adobe PDF Library 20.9.95

  17. Would like for Adobe to have command-line tools (*.exe) for use in batch scripting or any languages for merging multiple documents into ONE PDF file so the task can be scheduled to run nightly... This would be an awesome tool opposing being forced to use the GUI (a manual process).

  18. Creating pdf's used to be simple. I know because I have used acrobat for 30 years. It has become a complete mess. I have tried for 30 minutes to add jpegs to a single pdf and it is still not right. Get some UX people who really know how to communicate. I can't believe how difficult this simple task has become. Sorry but it is true. I have the Adobe Creative Suite so I'm not unfamiliar with adobe.     Acrobat DC (CC) 21.0 on Mac OS X Big Sur 11.2.3
    Helvetica Neue typeface installed with system: /System/Library/Fonts/HelveticaNeue.ttc

    Expected:
    A regular (or even medium) weight of a typeface would be chosen.
