  1. Fix DWG to PDF batch conversion

    I am an electrical drafter and need to combine sometimes hundreds of AutoCAD (dwg) files into a pdf. The Acrobat XI version did this reliably and quickly. I used it for about 4 years mostly for that purpose. Now that it is no longer supported by Adobe I apparently am forced to "downgrade" to Acrobat 2017 for a perpetual license. (Somehow my "so-called perpetual" version of Acrobat XI suddenly stopped working on my work computers - more than one - suddenly - for some reason) 8( So...What is the definition of "perpetual" anyway?

  2. Preserve Source Folder Structure when creating multiple PDF's

    When creating multiple PDF's, if I choose to place them in the source folder, everything works fine, and all files are being converted into PDF, remaining the source structure. But I end up with a folder structure with mixed files (Word and PDF) next to each other. I do want a different output folder, but preserving my source folder structure. This way I get a new output structure, with only PDF-files in the structure. This option is currently not possible.   3. When import the webage into pdf, some pages dispalyed not acceptable, some just display the link

  4. BUG Acrobat Pro DC Version 2020.006.20042

    Hello,

    Since the last update, when I go to "Create a PDF" "Multiple Files" and "Combine Files" in the latest try some photos, I end up with a Portfolio and NOT a single PDF you can scoll. It is a portfolio of individual PDFs and the title is "Portfolio" even though I did not select the Portfolio option. In addition, it is erasing the original files. ALL the original PNG photo files have been erased and no longer on the harddrive. This has now happened twice.

  5. Please fix linkCreation.dotm

    Acrobat Pro (for the last several versions) continues to install linkCreation.com into MS Word directories, even though it is known to cause Word either to crash or to throw VBA errors. Please either fix the template or stop installing it.

  6. page count on combine files view

    Display number of files (and number of pages total) about to be combined.
    I can find out the page count after I've combined, but that is less useful because the deed is done.

    Please just let us merge PDFs, that is not worth 20$/month if that is all we do with it, once in a while! (I don't own a mac and cant use preview)

  8. Auto retention of hyperlinks from an excel do to a PDF

    hello,
    I would like to make PDF docs from excel docs that contain hyperlinks in which the hyperlinks are automatically maintained within the PDF instead of having to manually add then back in after making the PDF.

  9. Metadata (document properties) from Microsoft documents

    When I used to create PDFs from Word documents in Windows 7, the PDF would automatically inherit the Title, Subject, and Author properties.

    In Windows 10/Acrobat Pro 17 this is no longer the case. All of these fields are blank.

    I don't know if this is a change in Acrobat or Word (Office 365), but it's a major pain to set these properties manually every time.

  10. White Margins

    When converting, printing, or saving a document to PDF, Adobe Acrobat creates "white margins" on each conversion. To remove the extra margins you have to follow these steps for every document:

    1. Open PDF in Acrobat
    2. Select More Tools
    3. Select Print Production
    4. Select Set Page Boxes
    5. Check Remove White Margins

    This will remove the white margins created by Adobe and use the margins of the original document. I'm told from Adobe Support there isn't a way to permanently set a user preference to prevent adding white margins. Please enable this function as it is currently a pain to have to change…

  11. Adobe Acrobat 2015 Hang Outlook 2016 Saving sent email as PDF with large BCC

    Adobe Acrobat 2015 screen Hangs when Saving Outlook 2016 email as PDF when a large BCC list with DL's and Names is present.

    Issues is on Windows 10 it works fine with Windows 7.

    All other saving PDF working fine on outlook emails its only with sent mail with large list of BCC Adobe acrobat window hangs.

  12. PDF Maker (PowerPoint) crashes with long path to file

    PDF Maker seems to crash for PowerPoint when the path name is long. I tested converting with a PPTX file in OneDrive, and it crashed when the path and filename length were 250.

  13. Combine files page 1 lost and no bookmarks

    When I combine 2 or more PDF's with a specific file that file loses the first page. I added a blank page to compensate for this.

    All files have bookmarks. Once combined I can use all the bookmarks except for the specific file. It appears as 1 bookmark. I cannot send you the file because it contains confidential information. Any suggestions? Thanks

  16. Original file name in PDF metadata

    What I’m looking for is a way to imbed the originating file name somewhere in the Meta data of the pdf for future reference. It would have nothing to do with the file name used for the PDF when exporting the original file. Use case: Often a client will rename a pdf and down the road I have to find the original Indesign file used to create that pdf.

  17. Increase document size on cloud conversion

    I find myself unable to convert a word document file to pdf with proper hyperlinks for the table of contents. Please either increase the size limit for conversion of the files on Document Cloud and/or enable preferences option in Microsoft application for better conversion of files including attaining the hyperlinks in the documents and other features.

  18. Combining word documents into PDF

    My ACrobat Pro no longer supports combining word documents into a PDF. When I can go to a file to select the word docs it only brings up "supported file types".

  19. Bug: Images corrupted on converting to PDF from PowerPoint

    See attached for the screen grab of corrupted image.
    PowerPoint version 1902 / Office 365 / Windows 7
    I cancelled the Acrobat subscription due to this bug, so recreating the problem on my side will be difficult.

  20. Acrobat DC compile files into single PDF, Illustrator files grayed out

    In Acrobat DC when attempting to combine files into single PDF and trying to select Illustrator files they are grayed out and cannot be selected. I have to drag them from the finder into Acrobat. This is a major pain and waste of time. Before the upgrade I could always select an AI file to add to a PDF. Now I never can, even when trying to replace a page with a new file. Illustrator and Acrobat are not talking to each other.

    Acrobat does not support conversion of AI files to PDF via the Combine functionality.
    Can you confirm that you are combining AI files or PDF files created from Illustrator?
    Also, do you have Illustrator installed on your system?
