  1. How can we tell Acrobat to automatically sign the user in? Right now, when the user opens Acrobat the first time, they're asked to sign in, click "sign in with an enterprise ID", type their email address, etc. before they can actually use the SSO piece.

Our users log on to their PCs with the same identity the federated ID will use. Is there a registry key or deployment option we can set that will attempt to sign in with the logged in user's identity? We're trying to make this as seamless as possible for our users.

  2. At the time of new installation, the repaired installation folder of
    "C:\Program Files\Adobe\Acrobat DC\Acrobat\acrocef_1 "has already been gene.

Normally, this folder is a recognition generated during installation repair,
but why does it already exist?

Also, the process that actually starts uses the one in that folder
    ("C:\Program Files\Adobe\Acrobat DC\Acrobat\acrocef_1\AcroCEF.exe").

    Installation environment
    Windows10Pro 21H1

    Version

  4. Please stop using DMG's directly or indirectly within the install process. This is particularly important in CCDA where DMG's are used and we have no ability to amend this workflow.

  5. Before an update is rolled out, third-party providers, e.g. for plugins, must be informed in advance about the content of the update so that there can't be any production downtimes!

  6. It would be helpful to determine how best the User from our Enterprise ID Plan uses Adobe Acrobat Pro DC application if a report that could be generated to brief the usage statistics for a period of past 60-90 days.

It would also be helpful for us to MANAGE/RE-ALLOCATE the license to a CORE USER instead of Poor Usage User

  7. Some vendors who offer PDF creation allow you to monitor usage of their products. Sine Adobe is the highest costing PDF creator it would be useful for enterprise admin to track usage. Currently we are being asked to monitor this from our end. it is pushing us to a different product that allows us to track product usage.

  8. i'd like the ability to view my user's history. (i'd like to see the last time they signed in to adobe, the last time they used adobe, and maybe how often they use it).

i would basically like to see how often users actually use their license, that way if it is determined that they don't use it, i can re-assign their license to someone who actually WILL use it.

  9. When our users were migrated to the new Business Profiles overnight on 9/7/2021 all lost their ability to use Acrobat, and our team had to go through and remove and reattached all users licenses.

  13. Is there a way to determine product utilization. By this I mean can I tell the last time a user used their assigned product?
For example if a user has not used their Acrobat for six months they probably do need a license

  14. List the last usage of a product in the Admin Console for every user.
Highlight non users and allow the recovery of wasted licenses.

OR We could just keep on throwing money at Adobe ?

  18. I'm frustrated that I pay every month to have a license for Adobe DC as part of my bundle of Adobe products and it is unstable, unreliable and full of bugs. Today, when opening up the program I was notified that my trial for DC had ended - HOWEVER, I am not on a trial, I am on year #4 of my paid subscription!! Now, features I had are gone, the Prepare Form function no longer works, I cannot create fillable PDFs (a service I get paid to do!)

How can I justify paying every month for something that does…

  19. Currently versions of Adobe Acrobat suite have 2 forms of updates.
    Manual and Auto.
Unfortunately on the auto update, Minimal controls exist. So corporate users have to either deploy a server to host all auto updates and publish as they become available. OR accept that the latest version will be applied immediately as they become available.

The hosted server, is an option, but will put further pressure on VPN's as users are most likely to work in a hybrid home/office environment.

What would be useful is borrowed from googles approach with Chrome, where a simple policy or registry key can…

  20. Currently it is overly complicated to reinstall software on new computer in enterprise environment.
Example: user has Adobe Acrobat Pro. Their laptop is being replaced with a new on. There is no easy way to simply logon to Adobe.com with the users credentials to download the software so it can be reinstalled on the new laptop.
Why not allow the Administrator for the account the ability to go to the products page under their corporate account and select the software and download it so it can be reinstalled on a replacement system for the end user.
    There is no option…
