Acrobat Pro X
Whenever I try Help/Check for Updates ... I get a message back that "Cannot connect to Adobe update server. Please verify that you are connected to the Internet and check for updates again." Obviously, I am on the Internet to make this post. What do I do?1 vote
Could you please let me know if you are on windows or mac?
While installing Photoshop and Lightroom today, the installation screen showed that I had an existing install of Acrobat DC. I've never heard of Acrobat DC... so I assumed it must be part of the Acrobat system - and I elected to update the installation by pressing the "update" button. Unbeknownst to me, it uninstalled my Acrobat Pro XI and installed a trial version of Acrobat DC. I called the Support Line and waited AN HOUR AND A HALF to speak to a tech support representative to find out how to revert back to my Pro XI. By the time I got to speak to someone, I had already uninstalled the program and reinstalled Pro XI - but missed a dinner appointment with friends because I was dealing with this issue.
I suggest you change the "update" button to "upgrade", as I'm sure I'm not the only one who has been inconvenienced by this.

I just installed Acrobat Pro DC and the it keeps shutting down after running only 10-20 seconds. I can occasionally open a file quickly enough, but after opening file, Pro DC then shuts down. Went through Adobe troubleshooting (checked updates, Distiller, repair installation), but problem persists. Note that I did NOT set Pro DC as my default program for PDF files. My original Acrobat Pro XI is running fine.26 votes
I purchased the Adobe PDF Pack in August 2018 but now, each time I try to convert a file, I get a message saying that my trial has expired and I must buy to continue. Please tell me how to fix this or return the money I paid. Thank you.2 votes
After Acrobat updated to 2019.008.20071, my Enfocus Pitstop Tools have disappeared. I have tried uninstalling/re-installing both Acrobat and Pitstop. With no change. I have checked for an update to Acrobat but get a message that 20071 is the latest version. Enfocus says the problem is in Acrobat.
When can i expect a fix for this. I need these tools in order to be able to work with my customers. Thanks1 vote
ACROBAT DC CRASHES WHEN STARTING UP 2017 MACBOOK PRO?1 vote
My concern is with the new Adobe policy of license-based software. I was extremely frustrated when I was out-of-the-blue prompted to log in to Adobe just to open a pdf. My saved log-in did not work, and I was unable to open my flight document, which was a big problem for me in the moment. I have now solved that problem (by switching pdf viewers, to Preview). However, the root of my dissatisfaction is with the Adobe licensing system. I am a paid subscriber, and this system is not working for me. I absolutely do not want to be told that I have to log in, ever, in order to open my own documents. I feel strongly enough about this that I am evaluating non-Adobe solutions for my other software needs as well, which is tough for me, since I have been a loyal advocate for Illustrator and Photoshop for years. If anyone reads this and has a real solution (not the ineffectual apology I received from customer care) I would appreciate a response- Laura.Alonso@umassmed.edu. thanks

I have purchased the full license for Adobe Acrobat Pro DC, I am requesting Adobe to create a way to always block Reader DC from ever downloading during scheduled updates. Reader DC always commandeers/overrides the default settings by file types and since I PAID for the full software product, I shouldn't have to reset my default program by file type literally every other day. Please change this. Please.1 vote
To disable updater you can set the following registry key:
You can refer to the following document:
I probably shouldn't have to, because I get an adobe package from my employer, but I paid $190 for a one year Acrobat Pro DC subscription on June 26, 2018. 5 months later, I'm getting a message that my subscription has expired.
My order # is/ was: ADB034255491
Either fix the problem or refund my money.1 vote
Since "upgrading" to Mohave, I simply cannot get my Adobe Acrobat Professional to open. I get the spinning beach ball for several minutes (yes minutes). I then check Force Quit and invariably, Adobe Acrobat Professional is "not responding". Adobe says the two are compatible, but I do not think so.1 vote

Can you please let us know the exact problem you are facing.
I'm getting errors when reading PDFs. All different sizes, all different sources.
"There was an error processing a page. There was a problem reading this document (109)."
"A number is out of range."
"There was an error while reading a stream."
"Please wait while the document is being prepared for reading."
"Out of memory."
It's a brand new Windows 10 machine with 8GB of RAM. I uninstalled and reinstalled the program. How do I fix this issue? The program is essentially unusable at this point.2 votes
Everytime I open an Adobe Product, this error appears "Your application install seems to be damaged, Please reinstall the application."
My trial is over and I have bought the product. I have the activation key but can't type it in anywhere. I also can't sign out because the option has gone.3 votes

Unable to remove the Trial by any means. Unable to use Adobe for pdf now. No suggestion works and I will start looking for alternative software if it continues. My file shredder am worried it will remove 5 years of pdf Invoices. Never again will I try anything suggested by Adobe.
The Trial version did not do as it suggested so Merry Christmas, hijacked by Adobe3 votes
Apologies that we could not meet your requirements. If you could be more specific as to what you were trying and where you faced issues, it would be helpful and perhaps we could resolve the scenario for you.
However, if you want to remove Acrobat Trial, simply uninstall Adobe Acrobat software. After that if you open a PDF file, it will ask which software should take ownership of PDF files.
Please make it possible to Roam the User's login from PC to PC in a networked environment. My users sometimes move from desk to desk so it is frustrating to have the users login/logout every time they go to a new PC. We would like them to be able to log in once and then be auto-logged into every other machine they sign on to with their networked login (roaming profile).7 votes
Please take a look at the solution provided by Ravi below and let us know if this solves your problem.
Whenever I open Adobe Acrobat DC, within 10 seconds of it being open/as soon as it shows my name sign in, in the top right corner, I get the spinning wheel and app completely freezes and im have to force quit. EVERY TIME, DC is un-usable. I've uninstalled, reinstalled countless time, restarted, shutdown, nothing.
