  1. I can't combine PDF files into one document. I'm combining several pages that are in the same layout with different information. It changes all of the data in later pages to the same as the first one! Why would I want multiples of the same page? I don't want a portfolio I want to combine the multiple pages.

This used to be fine, why can it no longer be done??

  3. When checking forms in the PAC3 checker, I'm always getting this error for all the form fields: Possible inappropriate use of a 'Form' structure element.
In Acrobat (2020.009.20063 on MacOS X) I've done the accessibility check and the PDF/UA preflight without any problems, so the PDF should be ok.
To fix the problem I'm manually assigning the attribute "Placement: Block" for each form field in the tags panel, which is a lot of work. Is it possible to add that attribute automatically when creating the form field?
I could buy axesPDF QuickFix to fix the problem, but this should be…

  8. Identical to this problem: https://acrobat.uservoice.com/forums/590923-acrobat-for-windows-and-mac/suggestions/19583785-combining-pdf-documents-results-in-unprintable-cha

After combining multiple documents, instead of characters showing up as expected when viewing in Acrobat, they show as boxes. When previewing in Edge, Chrome, Nitro, they appear as expected. It has been shown to be version agnostic as well as OS agnostic replicating the issue on Windows and Mac as well as different versions of Acrobat including the most recent patched version.

  9. On fillable form being sent out to individuals would like the ability for the receiving party to attach a document to the completed fillable form and both be returned to us at the same time.Acrobat Pro DC does not offer a field under the Actions tab, Add, of a Text box for a File>Attach File.

  10. I want to be able to take a filled out and digitally signed (by somebody else) form and save it as an unfilled and unsigned version of itself.

Many times I have had to go searching over slow company intranet for a blank unsigned version of a form because the only ones I have locally are signed versions. I've even had to re-do letters from scratch because either I didn't save a blank version, or accidentally saved over the blank copy without thinking about it. I know that we can't clear a signature that is not our own, but would…

  11. After last update, there is a change in how creating form is working. Form editing (creatin) now contain text edit, which is for me higly unwanted feature, since there is no turn on/off. I am editing 30+ fields in once and selecting all of them is impossible. My form has lot of text boxes and while creating pdf, i dont need them to edit anymore. I just want to edit form fields. Once you mouse down or mouse up on any text, it will ruin the multiple select of fields and start editing text. We are using old version becasue…

  12. When creating a form, allow text fields to be linked so when someone is filling out the form the text wraps into the next field instead of making the font size smaller.

  14. In Prepare Form, why can't I use the Select Object Tool to select multiple fields with a marquee anymore? I've always used it in the past but every time I use it now, it automatically switches to Edit Text & Images, which I don't want it to do. This change supposed to be an "improvement" in the most recent update of Acrobat DC, but it has made my job both harder and take longer. Evidently, there's no way turn off Edit Text & Images when you're in Prepare Form, so you're just stuck editing fields without using a marquee to…

  17. The steps: Replace Pages, Save.

Acrobat loses all the text, leaving only fillable fields.

It doesn't happen for all PDFs.

This is the third version of Acrobat that has this problem. Isn't it time to fix this bug?

I have looked several times on the Internet for references to this bug, and have found nothing.

  18. For a long time now I have noticed a peculiar bug that only sometimes rears its head. By now I'm pretty sure it is a bug and not something I'm doing wrong, as I've had this same issue appear in multiple AcroForms that I have made, all with different content.

What happens is illustrated well with the screen recording I made, see the attached file.

    How to reproduce:

    • This is with an AcroForm drop-down field that has about 200 entries.
    • This drop-down field has the options "Allow user to enter custom text" and "Commit selected value immediately" selected.…

  20. I used acrobat to create a fillable pdf. Now, when I receive them back, I want to be able to combine them into 1 pdf. When I do that, it overwrites all the fields with the info from the first file. Incredibly not helpful. If there was a box that I could check that would tell the program to flatten the files before they were combined, that would be helpful.
