  1. I need to create French versions of forms where there is an option to format numbers as 44 534,41 $ rather than $44,534.41

When adding a date field to a form, I also need a French date picker, so the French users see the calendar in French.

  3. Not only does Acrobat need a Dark Mode, it needs to be compatible with fillable forms. Bright white screens are ******* the eyes, and it's not fair to our eyeballs to change the fillable forms box to BLACK whenever we change to custom colors to ease the glare from the screen. We can't see what we're typing, We need this feature!

  4. Acrobat DC 21.005.20048 (Win10):
    Actions taken:
    - Starting a PDF Form from scratch
    - Adding text with text-tool
    - Adding text-field
    - Adding checkbox
    Result:
Text and any other object cannot be selected at the same time, neither by box-select nor by SHIFT or CTRL.
Text does not appear in "Fields" list and can thus also not be selected there.
    - Cannot align text with fields or other objects
(Different text selected does not even promt the alignment-options)
    - Cannot move text with fields

    Proposal:
    - Make text selectable together with fields
    - Create a "label" object, which acts like…

  5. Create 'object styles' for interactive text fields and buttons which allows the user to specify the attributes of the field which can then be applied to newly created fields

  6. Currently you have to use Java Script to create a dropdown list that includes an item with a null (blank) export value. There is not way to add a null value to the list in the Prepare Forms - Dropdown Properties user interface. You can create a list item that looks blank by using the space bar, but that is not the same as null and will generate an error when importing the data into our database (where true null is an acceptable entry, but any text entries that don't match the validation list are not, and the entire record…

  7. I am currently stuck on a project here due to the sometimes unpredictable and difficult to work with form field auto detection in Acrobat. I am designing a rather complex form in InDesign and exporting the PDF to have the form fields auto-generated in Acrobat.
Radio Buttons in particular are the trickiest to work with because of their demanding conditions. It is leading to a frustrating end-user experience when the radio button form fields get generated as circular check boxes which is intuitive and confusing. It seems to unexpectedly incorrectly interpret them as check boxes in some cases, and correctly…

  8. In the Text Field Properties, under the Number Format, it would be great to select the option for a Civic number format. Currently a comma will appear if you have more than four numbers (1,430) and in an address you wouldn't have a comma between the numbers (1430).

  9. Currently when you select the Format in Text Field Properties you can select "Special" and select Social Security Number, however this format is a US only format, for Canadians our format is ###-###-###.
This would be helpful to have when creating a fillable application.

  10. Add a feature that allows for inserting multiple signature fields/tabs in one go and not individually, the same request for check boxes please.
In addition a feature that automatically recognise an adjustment to the size of a inserted field for the next preceding fields to be inserted.

  11. Dear Adobe,

Unfortunately all Browsers send an error message to the user if he/she wants to open a dynamic XFA form file. You offer some solution in your help to configure local systems etc... That does not help organizers of events. The end user is often not capable or wants to follow these instructions nd refuses to use XFA based forms. Is there a perspective that there will be a solution for the browser to open these files like back in the days..?. The status quo is hurting the image of PDFs a bit...

    1. Renaming Date Type field changes it to Text Type

Issue: Renaming any Date type field when using "prepare form" in Adobe Pro, causes the field to be changed to a Text Type field. This causes issues with errors when uploading/downloading the form.

    1. Replication Steps:
Open the Sample Document attached in Adobe Pro
Click Tools > Forms & Signatures > Prepare Form
This should load the open form into the prepare form tools
Right click on the "Date" Field
      Click 'Rename Field'
Change the name to: Date (no "afdate" suffix)
      Hit Enter
See in the right menu, the field…

  13. Hello, I was wondering if you all could make a system for Excel or CSV data to be imported into interactive elements like combo boxes and list boxes. Its a real pain to manually input an array of items one at a time, and also not have the ability to edit them in their place. The current process requires deleting an element in the list, and retyping it when updating the list. Imagine if having to make a combo box that included all 50 states or capitals of every country.
I also ask for this a feature in Indesign, but…

  14. Using PDF XFA forms created with Adobe LiveCycle Designer ES4. Data stored in a Microsoft Access database is converted to an XML file and then imported into a blank PDF XFA form using importXFAData. My workgroup has been using this feature for over three years with huge success/satisfaction. With the recent update, the xml import stopped working leaving the PDF form fields blank. Any work around or update planned?

  15. Ability to copy over all form fields created into one PDF into another PDF. For example, an application packet that one would make into a fillable form, then - since many application packets have the same blanks and check box spots, be able to pull all the same fields from one state's application packet to another state's packet.

  16. Just like text boxes, check boxes, dropdown lists, etc are available controls to add to a form, it would be great to have a slider control as well. This control should be able to be horizontal or vertical, specify the default location of the slider, specify min and max values for a 0 - 100 percentage of the slider and assign a value to the percentage starting at the min to the max (IE 0% of the slider could be a value of 0 and a value of 100% could be 500 and a value of 50% would be 250…

  17. I am creating a fillable PDF and the users need to be able to add an image. I tried using "Add an Image Field" with Prepare Form, but the users are unable to add the image when they open the PDF in Mac Preview. Most of our clients use Mac Preview to open and fill PDFs we need to make this compatible!

  18. Sign has the ability to create web forms, I'd like to see a feature that is the same but with no signature or certification - just a form that is distributable by link, gets filled out, the responses go to my account, and I can download and edit the document the same as any other PDF. With all the same fields (INCLUDING REQUIRED FILE UPLOAD) as sign except certified signature. Needed to be able to manage form submissions and attachments without the red tape of Sign

  19. Problem: When creating a fillable form, you either have to go in order of fields you create or in order of field creation number. When I receive forms that have already been given a great deal of time, the tabbing functionality is not ideal due to the function obeying the rule of field creation/ purposeful placing in the fields scrollbar. This becomes a chore when dealing with hundreds of fields. Ideally at this moment you want to scrap the whole creation and begin in a more formal and tedious recreation.

Solution: Multiple click/drag selectable field grouping. Where you can form…
