Form fields need manual adjustments to pass PAC3 checker.
When checking forms in the PAC3 checker, I'm always getting this error for all the form fields: Possible inappropriate use of a 'Form' structure element.
In Acrobat (2020.009.20063 on MacOS X) I've done the accessibility check and the PDF/UA preflight without any problems, so the PDF should be ok.
To fix the problem I'm manually assigning the attribute "Placement: Block" for each form field in the tags panel, which is a lot of work. Is it possible to add that attribute automatically when creating the form field?
I could buy axesPDF QuickFix to fix the problem, but this should be…3 votes -

Auto detect form field check boxes within a table format from MS Word.
I am trying to create a checklist form with several check boxes within a table in MS Word. When I convert to pdf, then use auto form field recognition, it puts tiny text boxes in the check boxes instead of a check box. Tried to get adobe support to help on this only to be informed that acrobat does not support check boxes form field auto recognition in tables. Would love it to do that.

Form fields work on Windows, do not when completed on MacOS
Drop down boxes work correctly when completed on Windows. Do not display once completed on a Mac and then reopened in Windows, instead displays first item in list.
Calculations do not work once opened on Mac, and then opened again in Windows

AcroForms VBA plugin does not correctly populate checkboxes when form contains XFA
Or rather, it populates the checkboxes correctly as far as the PDF side goes: it sets the /V and /AS of the checkbox objects in /Fields correctly, but it doesn't set the XFA side accordingly, whereas it does for text fields. In the Acrobat window the checkboxes show as correctly marked until I close the file. When I reopen the file with Acrobat or Reader, it gets its display information from the XFA, not from the /Fields (and that may be the real bug here), and so doesn't show the checkboxes as marked.

Creation of a field option for embedding external PDFs within a fillable PDF. T
This would eliminate the need for attaching within an email and allow for completion of form and submission on the end user regardless of whether or not they have the PRO version of Adobe.

Restricting a portion of a PFD Document
I beleive it a nice feature would be to restrict portions (part of) a PDF would be handy. for ex, i use documents at my institution where part of a document says "for office use only" I would like to restrict that portion from anyone trying to edit that area and only my office staff to be able to make changes with a password.

[BUG] Filled form-field contents only visible after clicking into the form-field when receiving a filled out form from Mac Users
When a docx is saved as a PDF (by Microsoft Word 2019 MSO (16.0.12624.20348) 64bit) and form-fields are added in Adobe Acrobat Pro DC 2020.006.20042, and the resulting PDF with formfields is then filled out and saved using Preview.app 2020.006.20042 on a Mac, the resulting PDF hides the filled out content of form-fields. Clicking into the filled form field reveals the contents. The PDF renders fine in other PDF viewer implementations.
Steps to reproduce:
1. Create an empty word document and save it as a PDF.
2. Open the PDF with Adobe Acrobat Pro DC and add a form field…3 votes -

SERIOUS PROBLEM NEWEST INDESIGN AND OLDER PDF FILE
I received a PDF file, to be placed in a magazine, with text on a transparent part of the PDF.
When I place the PDF file in an Indesign document the text on the transparent part is not visible.
In an older version of Indesign, CC 2019 there is no problem. After a chat session of a day with Adobe we find the problem, it’s the version of PDF.
A PDF file made in version 1.3 of Acrobat distiller. When I converse it to version 1.6 the problem is solved.I think Indesign should support also older versions of PDF…

Batch encryption pop-up box for multiple files needs option: "do this for all files"
When applying a security policy to multiple files, each file should not have to automatically open with a pop-up box "do you want to save changes to "filename"? When the question pops up for the first file, we need to have a little checkbox with the option to select: "do this for all files".
It's extremely tedious when asked the same question over and over (120 times) for a batch of PDFs to which you've selected to apply a security policy.
Also, there's a slight bug - the security policy is never applied to the final file.1 vote -

Checkbox to flatten files before combining
I used acrobat to create a fillable pdf. Now, when I receive them back, I want to be able to combine them into 1 pdf. When I do that, it overwrites all the fields with the info from the first file. Incredibly not helpful. If there was a box that I could check that would tell the program to flatten the files before they were combined, that would be helpful.

Text Field Options: Double Spacing, Single Spacing, Blockquotes
I am making grant application forms where students have to write a short essay that sometimes needs to be 2-3 pages in length. Others have already requested options where the text fields can be linked and the text can flow from one page to the next. I have definitely voted in favor of this option.
I would like to add another option. I would like the option to format the text that is entered in the text field as double-spaced, single-spaced, or in blockquotes. It seems like there should be much more robust options in this regard.
