Bug: Text doubles up in 'required' fields
Forms made in Acrobat Pro DC on a Mac running High Sierra, OS 10.13.6. When specifying fields 'required' any text entered doubles up when printed on a pc.
Tried changing field background colour to white to block out doubled text, but cannot make the fields non-transparrant1 vote -

BUG: I used to be able to edit documents by filling out blocks in the format. It does not have that facility any more
You are offering me the option of continuing a cancelled subscription for Acrobat DC.
I used to be able to edit a document that had block fill spaces in it by using the Text editing option for alligning the blocks.
This does not exist any more.
I had to highlight all the blocks on the page. Then I entered the details. This was followed by placing spaces inbetween to align each character per block.
I have 4 days left to make the annual purchase but if this is what is being offered then I will revert to filling a document…

In creating a form have a field where a user can click in and a use pen or finger to write or sign
In Forms having a signature that requires a save every time is too much when their is multiple signatures especially when the form does not change between signing. the fill and sign is better however it does not work with the button reset a form. So having a field form similar to the text but allows the user to write by pen or finger that is also clear able should be an option.

Resize Button Properties window
It would be helpful to be able to resize the Button Properties window in Adobe Acrobat Pro. Currently the window barely has enough room to display the contents. Resizing would help allow for much quicker form preparation workflows, for example, making the window larger could help minimize the need to constantly use the scrollbars in the Actions tab.

Edit formatting for multiple form fields at once
Since there's a push to make publically available PDF's meet ADA accesibility standards, we've been creating the base form fields in inDesign and then doing finishing touches in Acrobat Pro. It's annoying enough that you can't set formatting in the base doc (ie if it should be a number, date, percentage etc). The fact that there's no way to format multiple fields at once is worse. If more than one field is selected, the "format" tab literally disappears from the properties menu.
I'd just copy the original fields to preserve their settings, but then I'd have to do a lot…

I can't get Acrobat to auto create check boxes when I "prepare form" - a .docx with check boxes printed to PDF, making form fillable.
I can't get Acrobat to auto create check boxes when I "prepare form" - this is a .docx with check boxes printed to PDF, making form fillable. I want Acrobat to detect the check boxes and automatically add them instead of manually adding 100 checkboxes, taking way too much time.

auto fill not working
When auto-complete is turned on for a form, field entries are being saved but fail to auto-complete. For a form created in Acrobat, I can go to Edit-->Preferences-->Forms-->Auto-Complete-->Edit Entry List and see all the strings I would like to auto-complete. But they never auto-complete. I can find no factor why that is failing

Change Default Font
Why can I not change the default font in Adobe Acrobat XI Pro from Minion to what I want? The "J" in Minion looks like an "I" and I have a "J" in my company name which is causing problems because it looks like an "I". I know this has been asked before but why is there no answer. Ugh!

The icon / link on the TOols page which lead to the Merge Data into Spreadsheet dialogue has suddenly disappeared from my cop of Acobat Pro 2017. How can I get it back? I can access the function by loading a form and then using the 'Edit' command, but two weeks agao there was a tool icon available.
1 voteYou can use the following steps to
> Right Click on the Tools bar and select "Customize Quick Tools.
>Navigate to “Prepare Form” > More Form Options
> Click on the “Add to toolbar” button.
> Click Save. You should now have the “Merge Data into Spreadsheet” as a drop down options now.
I hope this helps

1 votePlease share the acrobat version you are experiencing this issue with .You can do so using the link -helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/kb/identify-product..
Have you tried it with any other file to confirm that this is not file-specific issue.
Also, can you “Check for Updates” and re-test the issue with latest version.

Calulations are difficult why can't it just cary them over from word or excell
Why not make the math table calculations carry over from word and excel instead of having to use java. Even the tools don't even subtract or divide.

livecycle crashes on preview
Adobe Livecycle ES 4 crashes repeatingly after opening the preview screen. It's irritating. I see a lot of ad hoc repair items in this blog by the Adobe Support team (outsourced). There are a lot of issues in this case. When will Adobe really do something about it.
Please let's have a call. In the early days Adobe issues will be solved. Since it's outsources the issues are increasing huge in my opinion.

Ed Boon

BUG - can't edit fields in a form
I open a pdf and go to tools > prepare form> open then select a form.
As soon as I click on 'add a field' or an existing field, a stopwatch icon appears and Adobe closes. So I can't edit a form which makes a fillable pdf form impossible. Given the fee I pay every month I am NOT happy.
Yes I have the most current version, Yes I tried the 'repair Adobe' option.

Annotations should appear above the image in a form image field
Currently when a user fills a form image field annotations are placed below this image, making it impossible (or arduous for the pdf creator) to annotate images that have been filled into the form.
Seeing as it's an intuitively powerfull tool to be able to annotate (nb. point out) things on an image I'd like to see this be easyer to accomplish/baseline.
See: https://forums.adobe.com/thread/2467988
Thank you in advance for the consideration.

Convert to radio group
I should be able to create a radio group inside a form without custom scripting. An example would be to select a number of check boxes and group them together and choose to group them as a radio button group.
