Add Smart Guides, Grids, and snap to Grids, in Form Creator.
I don't like how free-floating the elements on Forms is. It take me quite a bit of time getting things lined up. I wish you could implement some of your code from Photoshop and Illustrator such as; Smart Guides, so I can see how things line up and offset elements. Grids that I can edit the dimensions of ie: 1mm² or 1cm², and snap-to grids so I can everything lined up. Thank you.

Can you add a feature that locks fill-in form fields?
I built a fill-in form using a PDF template. Turns out the PDF displayed incorrectly for one of my users, so I created a replacement template PDF. When I switched it out, all my fill-in form fields significantly moved. Would love a feature that would allow the fields to be locked before replacing template. Thank you.
1 voteBarbara,
To avoid accidental changes to the form field, select Locked in the lower-left corner of the Properties dialog box before you close it. To unlock, click the option again.
I hope it work for you .

When I prepare a fillable form, I want to wrap the text so the person filling out the form can read the whole paragraph they are writing.

4 votesJanet,
Select “Multi-line” and “Scroll Long Text” in “Options” tab of the Properties dialog box for your text field. Also, ensure to widen the width (manually) to allow user to view the content as they type
And, I have forwarded your request of “Wrap the Text” to engineering. It will be picked up after prioritization.
We will contact you if we need some more information on this.

Allow "use current properties as default" to include or delete decimal places.
When selecting a form field and want to use it for the default, it doesn't allow for the existing decimal place. So, I have to go back and change every number field to eliminate the two decimal default. Also, why can't we just have the default be without any decimals?

After you have created a form field that eliminate the two decimal default, select “Create Multiple Copies” available on “Right Click” to add more form field with the same default formats.
I hope this helps

PDF Compairion issues
While comparing PDF docs, most of the differences are not the real ones, but due to font, fill, color, size. How would I avoid getting differences due to the above reasons.

Problem with IRS fill-in forms
Repeatedly, when trying to fill in US Internal Revenue Service forms in Acrobat DC Standard, I get a "bad file handle" message, and am unable to save the completed form. This did not happen with earlier versions of Adobe Acrobat and does not happen if I open the files in Acrobat Reader DC rather than the full version of Acrobat DC. I am using Windows 10.
2 votesPlease provide the version of Acrobat DC installed on your machine.
To check version installed – Please refer https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/kb/identify-product-version.htmlAlso, please share the file (if possible) along with the error screenshot with us.

Edit mulitple form properties at the same time
Can only change tool tips for one item at a time. Have to change dozens from previous form and can only do one at a time. If copy / paste have to change the name so they won't be linked.

Center text in fillable form field both vertically and horizontally
If I create a fillable field in a form with mulit-lines, I can center the text horizontally in the field but not vertically. It would be great to add this as a feature.

Edit font in fillable fields on forms
Currently, if I send a fillable form to someone, they can't change the font they enter into the fillable fields. It would be great if they could change the font to suit them rather than have to keep the font that I've assigned. OR if I could assign a font and have it appear on the PDF at their end rather than converting to a default font if they don't have that particular font on their computer.
1 votePlease select “Allow Rich Text Formatting” for the text field in the “Options” tab of the Properties dialog box.
Formatting options are available on “Right Click”
And font can be changed using the “text toolbar”, using the shortcut key CTRL+E or CMD+E.I hope this help

Trying to Change Default Font from Minion Pro to Times New Roman or Arial
I have been waiting forever to have the Adobe Pro XI development team change the default font from Minion Pro (no one uses Minion Pro) to Times New Roman or Arial (the most common). The specific problem for me is that my company name starts with a J. The J in Minion Pro looks like an I. That is causing all sorts of problems. The letter J in Times New Roman and Arial looks like a J. Why do we hav to beg to get this changed? It made no sense to have it set to Minion Pro default anyway.

Combined Pages, Double Sided Printing
I have several PDF files that I print regularly (together). Some are printed as double-sided, and some are printed as single-sided. When you combine PDFs into one document, there's not an option to keep some printing as double, and some as single. When you hit print and choose the option to print "Double sided," it prints double-sided for all. Wish there was a way to have them combined in one document, but have separate printing properties. May work-around is to add a "blank page" after the single page PDF, but that gets messy. THanks

[Bug Report] Clicking an option from a dropdown form field results in the wrong one being selected
For a long time now I have noticed a peculiar bug that only sometimes rears its head. By now I'm pretty sure it is a bug and not something I'm doing wrong, as I've had this same issue appear in multiple AcroForms that I have made, all with different content.
What happens is illustrated well with the screen recording I made, see the attached file.
How to reproduce:
• This is with an AcroForm drop-down field that has about 200 entries.
• This drop-down field has the options "Allow user to enter custom text" and "Commit selected value immediately" selected.…56 votes -

I'm trying to open a PDF file and it shows me that it's going to open and then nothing happens. I tried to unistall it and then install it and there's always an error appearing saying that I'm not able to have access on this device, path or file and that maybe I don't have the rights.

Flattening Tool
We need a flattening tool so that we can put stamps/initials/signatures on a pdf that cannot be moved/altered so they can go to our clients. There was a very simple add on to adobe X, but nothing even close in DC. Please update this!

Difficulty getting form to calculate
If there was a refresh button maybe that would help. As it is now, I have to get into to Form setup and back out again, or keep on clicking on various fields until the correct values show up.

Defect-Radio Button/Checkbox border disappears when selected
Behavior: When selecting one of the radio button options, the border disappears. Note that this appears to be affected by the field highlighting, which is enabled by default for Reader and Acrobat.
Steps to reproduce:
1. Setup a form with multiple sets of radio buttons, where at least two options exist for each set of radio buttons
2. In the Appearance properties tab for the radio buttons, set the Border Color to black and Line Thickness to "Thin"
3. In the Options properties tab set the Button Style to "Cross"
4. Open the form and select one radio button from…1 voteThis is as designed.
As you select the radio button, you will observe a light gray, beveled frame appears around each button boxes.
You can see the difference as you make changes in “Line Style” -
Password Protected pdf's
In your next update, please include the option to save documents (from programs such as Microsoft Office) DIRECTLY to password-protected pdf forms. It should be unnecessary to open the pdf's in the Adobe program and then create an additional level of security. The current system requires too many steps, which is neither time- nor labor-efficient. You already include the ability to convert to pdf directly from these programs, so please add the option to convert directly to a password-protected version. Thank you.
1 voteThis feature already exits with Word for every PDF that required password excryption.
1. Create your document or open an existing PDF document using Word
2. From the File menu select Save As
3. Browse to a location to save the document
4. Select PDF (*.pdf) as the document type and click the Options… button
5. In the PDF options section check the Encrypt the document with a password option
