  1. multiple text line links tab order

Using 13.1. Don't know if this is an Acrobat or an InDesign issue, but recently noticed that if I have text that flows to 2 lines and that has a hyperlink behind it, in Acrobat, the tags show the link as having two Link-OBJR, but they are the reverse of reading order. So if you tab the page, you go from 2nd line of text to first. So,

    'Go to

    the store'

tabs as if it is 'the store' 'go to'. The underlying link is fine--no issue there--it's the tab order and tag order (tag order perhaps then impacting screen…

  2. Sliding Scale

It would be great if users could insert a sliding scale field for range questions (like a 1-10 question) in the same way that we can insert a checkbox or text field when creating a form. I have to create employee appraisal templates and I need to include a slider scale. I have attached an example of a sliding scale.

  3. tab order not persisting

I have manually set my tab order three times now.... And three times now when I save it for publication the tab order reverts to row.. I have set custom columns. Is there a setting I am missing????? Can't find anything on web except history of this kind of issue in older versions but no solution.

  6. Read only form fields become visible when a digital signature is applied and then cleared

    Environment:
Windows. Adobe Acrobat Pro DC Version 2019.012.20040

Expected result is that the text field remains Read Only when the digital signature is cleared.

What happens is the Read Only field appears visible as if it can have data entered into it.

Unfortunately I cannot seem to reproduce it on other forms, and I cannot attach this form as it is proprietary. Not sure if this is a familiar problem with others.

  7. Allowing .ai files to be uploaded into image fields in pdf forms.

As a graphic design, I use the same few .ai art files per day. duplicated into new files. For over a year, I've been able to select .ai files to upload directly into a image field in art proof form (which is also duplicated and reused over and over) that I created. This is a function that I was able to do hundreds of times over the past year.

Then after running an update to Mac Catalina on 10/31, Acrobat Pro DC no longer allows .ai files (however .eps files are accepted) to be directly uploaded into image fields. The…

  8. BUG: Continually kicked out of Adobe when doing form design

I've always used Acrobat X Pro with LiveCycle to create my forms. Our forms are extensive so not that easy to create in word and then convert to PDF form so i "free hand" (create New) created all the original forms. Now i'm using Acrobat Pro DC subscription. Create from New does not have the features of LiveCycle so now i'm resorting to having to create the form in word first, then convert it to a PDF form and rebuild the majority of my fields, check boxes, drop down lists, radio buttons because those don't come through. First off this…

Ability to set the default font for form fields. Right now I have to go and change the font each time I create a new form field.

  12. Prepare form issue

When using Prepare Form for making a pdf fillable form, you can copy and paste multiple fields by selecting over.

Now, if you try to do it, unless you're zoomed in, it will automatically change to text edit. This needs to stay in prepare form mode...

  13. keep form editing and text editing separate please

After last update, there is a change in how creating form is working. Form editing (creatin) now contain text edit, which is for me higly unwanted feature, since there is no turn on/off. I am editing 30+ fields in once and selecting all of them is impossible. My form has lot of text boxes and while creating pdf, i dont need them to edit anymore. I just want to edit form fields. Once you mouse down or mouse up on any text, it will ruin the multiple select of fields and start editing text. We are using old version becasue…

  14. Why is there an Edit Text & Images tool in Prepare Form?

In Prepare Form, why can't I use the Select Object Tool to select multiple fields with a marquee anymore? I've always used it in the past but every time I use it now, it automatically switches to Edit Text & Images, which I don't want it to do. This change supposed to be an "improvement" in the most recent update of Acrobat DC, but it has made my job both harder and take longer. Evidently, there's no way turn off Edit Text & Images when you're in Prepare Form, so you're just stuck editing fields without using a marquee to…

  15. Need Form Options for "Open Square" and "Open Circle" Radio Button Styles

When adding Radio Buttons on forms, users need options for "Open Square" and "Open Circle" Button Styles. The inside/middle of the button should be transparent, so that users can easily see the text behind their underlying choice. This would simulate users circling a choice with a pencil/marker rather than completely "filling in" the circle or square.

Additionally, it would be nice to be able to change line color and line thickness of the "open circle" or "open square". Currently, users can only change the border color and line thickness of ALL radio buttons, regardless of whether the button is selected…

  16. calculations are wrong

the addition calculations are wrong . See attached Picture. How can the total be 11 instead of 12. I even set the default values in the fields as 0, and still junk calculation.

  18. Old feature for setting tab order wanted back, was easier to use, was better than the current

older is sometimes better. The older method of setting tab order was faster and easier to work with then the current clunky poorly designed method

  19. Form data doesn't print from Acrobat Forms (AcroForm)

Printing a filled-in PDF Form (AcroForm, not XFA) is unreliable.

File / Print does not work reliably, regardless of which printer is selected (even PDF Virtual Printer) or the options for comments, etc.

    The problem is sporadic.

Several of our clients have had this happen, and there are frequent posts on the Adobe Forums for this problem.

    https://community.adobe.com/t5/Acrobat/W9-s/m-p/10668894#M222034

    Our testing results:

-- None of the form data prints, but the form skeleton does.

-- Some random form field data prints, but not all of it. Different field data will print each time the form is printed.

    -- Certain types of…
