  2. I would like to suggest a feature where a customer can select a "Add New" button.
this feature will then insert information based on what the creator has selected.
E.g. New Page (Page will be hidden from view until this option is selected)

I currently have an order form where customers specify how they want their product to be fitted using a diagram with reference points and numbers. However with jobs requiring multiple items, I am currently having to send them multiple documents for each product. rather than have the option to add a second page to form where they…

  3. I want my customers to be able to fill out an Adobe Form on an iPad with a feature to capture a photo of their ID. Currently there is not an image/photo capture field that can be included in the form. just the ability to add a photo to a form in the design.

  4. If a required field is not completed, it seems logical the user should not be able to save or print the form, and there should be a prompt to complete required information

  5. When we add an image field in Acrobat pro and then save as reader (for client use) they cannot replace the image with a jpeg (normal format for pics) - can the java script be amended to allow this. Annoying as we can only create documents to be opened with Reader with editable text fields at the moment as editable image fields dont seem to work (unless the pic is a pdf and clients struggle with this). Any advice/ideas/workarounds appeciated. DP

  6. When creating office documents that involve questionnaires, there is a need for those fillable spots to still be made fillable while locking the rest of the document so the "original" words don't get changed.

  8. Hello,

The following issue appears to be Mac specific. This is not an issue on Windows machines, as all of my testing on multiple machines suggest it's only on Mac's.

    The short story:

On Mac's only, changing a text field format in Acrobat Pro DC (ex - changing to a date field) causes the field highlighting to no longer work on those fields that have been adjusted, and are fields that are shown/hidden based on checking/unchecking a check box.

    The long story:

I recently have been trying to troubleshoot a relatively minor issue that I can replicate when creating form…

  9. I want to use a Data Matrix Barcode field in a form in Acrobat Forms, like I do in LiveCycle Designer ES4. But here I get into trouble: DM-Barcode doesn't encode the German special chars! I get weird encodings instead of the char. The same entry in a QR-Code-Field works as expected!
Because ist works fine in LiveCycle Designer and in the QR-Code I assume this is a bug.
I found no solution to finetune the field to become German-friendly ;-)
I attach a quick and simple example-form (for use in Acrobat, not Reader, of course).

  11. I'd like to be able to enter in one fillable field "FirstName MiddleName LastName" and have it auto populate 3 fields for First, Middle, and Last. Or enter into one fillable field 123456789 and have it auto populate three fields with 123, 456, and 789. I've been searching for a script to do that and can't find anything.

  13. Acrobat needs to be reinstalled to solve this issue. I had to call Adobe to reinstall. When I try to reinstall I get error 136. Once installation is complete issue is fixed.

This is the second time this has happened.
I have scripts that I reuse in JavaScript Editors for example Properties/Format/Custom/Custom keystroke script. When I try to paste the script nothing happen. It is fixed now as I reinstalled acrobat. Last time it worked for a month or so. Will see what happens this time. Hope it doesn't happen again.

  14. This bug is only for reversed out text, and only happens when Indd files are placed into another Indd file, before the PDF is exported.

The PDF is fine, until you go to program editable fields, at which point the hyphens and apostrophes all disappear. (This only happens for white text).

  15. When a PDF form is seen on line or in a web browser there is a light blue background in fields , buttons etc. For what I use PDFs for (educational material ) it makes them unusable online which is a shame. It would be nice to disable this feature so that this is not seen

  16. It would be so convenient especially for contracts with long lists of terms and conditions, to have the signer enter their group name as an answer in a text field, and be able to insert that text field of their group name as needed throughout the multi-line scrolling text field.

  18. I talked to support today about this issue and they too could not explain it. Fills forms being rounded and added together is a crucial part of my job and I'm finding that oftentimes the rounding is incorrect by .01, often because is was incorrectly added after the rounding process.

I know Adobe has the ability to round numbers in the fill forms to a specific number of Decimal places, but what I am sort of seeing is that it doesn't matter what rounding you use, Adobe adds the raw numbers (Which defeats the purpose of rounding).

    I have attached…

  20. Version and system information at the bottom.

    Here's a potential bug that I found:
    1. Change a radio button name.
    2. Save and close the PDF.
    3. Reopen the PDF.
    4. Observe that the radio button name is missing.

This is driving me crazy because I have validation set up to make sure all the form fields are filled in properly. I can't do that if the radio button name is missing.
