I can't get Acrobat to auto create check boxes when I "prepare form" - a .docx with check boxes printed to PDF, making form fillable.
I can't get Acrobat to auto create check boxes when I "prepare form" - this is a .docx with check boxes printed to PDF, making form fillable. I want Acrobat to detect the check boxes and automatically add them instead of manually adding 100 checkboxes, taking way too much time.

livecycle crashes on preview
Adobe Livecycle ES 4 crashes repeatingly after opening the preview screen. It's irritating. I see a lot of ad hoc repair items in this blog by the Adobe Support team (outsourced). There are a lot of issues in this case. When will Adobe really do something about it.
Please let's have a call. In the early days Adobe issues will be solved. Since it's outsources the issues are increasing huge in my opinion.

Ed Boon

BUG - can't edit fields in a form
I open a pdf and go to tools > prepare form> open then select a form.
As soon as I click on 'add a field' or an existing field, a stopwatch icon appears and Adobe closes. So I can't edit a form which makes a fillable pdf form impossible. Given the fee I pay every month I am NOT happy.
Yes I have the most current version, Yes I tried the 'repair Adobe' option.

Bring back numerical formatting for form field creation
In previous versions of Adobe Acrobat Pro, I was able to select what type of formatting I'd like the text field to be, such as Phone Number, Zip Code, and decimal numbers as described here https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/using/pdf-form-field-properties.html#formattabforformfield_properties.
However, that option appears to not exist any more?

Adjust leading on the appearance area for the multi-scroll fillable type.
I would like to be able to adjust the leading for multi-scroll fillable type. I often have to adjust my art in InDesign so that the type matches the lines on forms.

Reader 2021.001.20138 suddenly running form javascripts incredibly slowly and freezing
A complex form that ran fine under older versions of reader, is now intermittently running some of the onboard javascripts incredibly slowly and appearing to the user as freezing (Not Responding).
This does not always occur, and occurs during different operations (using different document level scripts).
I am using Windows 10 Pro 19041.804 (most recent) and have experienced it on Reader 2021.001.20138 32bit and 64bit versions.2 votes -
Allow rounded corners for image fields
Currently image fields that users can upload images to are always rectangular. For aesthetic reasons this is not always desirable. For example, in some designs boxes with rounded corners or circles would work better. An option to add a corner radius to the field would improve the visual look.

Allow fonts for form fields to be embedded
Currently this is possible through workarounds, but it would be nice if Acrobat natively supported embedding the fonts used in forms, so when users type in the form field, their typed text appears in the designated font face.
(This essentially means bringing Acrobat up to par with online web-based HTML forms with embedded fonts using CSS.)

Set 'prepare form' properties to preferred defaults for all future forms
When converting a .pdf into a fillable form ('Prepare Form') please create an option to set properties so that Acrobat will always apply my preferred properties as the default.
It is inefficient to always convert the font and other properties to the settings I prefer for the forms I design.
I am aware I can set defaults for fields once the form is prepared and then duplicate this in a given form. I am also aware that I can multiple-select fields and change the properties for a group. However, I'd like a more efficient default-setting option, please.
EG: I use…

Auro save? Is it that hard?
Is it really that hard to auto save PDFs? It's ridiculous that in 2020 my PDFs don't save to original documents as I work. Thanks for wasting my time and losing hours of work.

Create a tool to create expandable and retractable sections within a Form
Adobe Pro needs to have a feature to create expandable drop down lists. I have seen it in other products, but it fits well with the PDF Pro.
I would like to be able to create easy drop down check lists, divided by topic, so the user can expand the form in the areas they need. This will reduce time for the customer to have to scroll through the document to find what they are looking for and will increase the functionality of the document.
I would like it to contain a plus box and minus box, so people can…

When I open PDF I cannot see text in completed fillable form
When I open a completed fillable form all I can see are the adobe digital signatures. I cannot see any of the text typed in the fillable fields. When I look at it in print preview or page thumbnails the text is visible so I know the form has been completed. All I can see is an empty blue box where the info should be. I installed a Creative Cloud update today (prompted from Adobe) and this is the first PDF I have opened since the update, not sure if related.

deleting pdf files
I am a sports photographer. Mostly tennis. I might take 200 photos of a particular player. My intention is to sell the images to the players/parents. I have to send a PDF file of all the images for them to look at. When I send the file they may just copy the images, regardless of the fact I have put a logo over the images. Some people are happy with that. Some just keep the images with the logo over the top. It means I do not get paid. I want to be able to send a file that deletes…

Bug: Replace Pages, then Save...text disappears, leaving only fields
The steps: Replace Pages, Save.
Acrobat loses all the text, leaving only fillable fields.
It doesn't happen for all PDFs.
This is the third version of Acrobat that has this problem. Isn't it time to fix this bug?
I have looked several times on the Internet for references to this bug, and have found nothing.

Be able to link text fields so that text entered will wrap from one to the next
When creating a form, allow text fields to be linked so when someone is filling out the form the text wraps into the next field instead of making the font size smaller.

[Bug Report] Deleting a page while the mini page preview is visible produces an error
I am using Adobe Acrobat Pro DC 2019.021.20061
When I open a PDF and double-click with my middle mouse button (the scroll wheel), a mini page thumbnail window is opened, similar too the Pan & Zoom window, but slightly different. For a picture of what I mean with the mini page thumbnail see this post: https://superuser.com/questions/428987/how-to-disable-middle-button-showing-a-page-thumbnail-in-adobe-readerNote that this is not regarding the Page Thumbnail sidebar nor the "Pan & Zoom" window. There is no menu option to make this mini page thumbnail appear, the only way is to double-click the middle mouse button.
While that mini page thumbnail window…

Full Screen PDF reader/more comprehensive PDF reading capabilities
I know many people who opt out of using Adobe Acrobat for other PDF reading applications (such as PDF Expert). They do this because they are either students or scholars who read PDF's daily and find the reading experience better away from Adobe. I am a faithful Adobe products user and do not want to spend on a different PDF reader, otherwise I would have months ago. Adobe ought to make a designated section for reading PDF's, and enable a full screen, double-page option where users can have a pleasing and comprehensive experience while engaging with their PDF's.
