If I create a fillable field in a form with mulit-lines, I can center the text horizontally in the field but not vertically. It would be great to add this as a feature.2 votes
I have forwarded your request to engineering. It will be picked up after prioritization. We will contact you if we need some more information on this.
Thank you for your patience
I have been waiting forever to have the Adobe Pro XI development team change the default font from Minion Pro (no one uses Minion Pro) to Times New Roman or Arial (the most common). The specific problem for me is that my company name starts with a J. The J in Minion Pro looks like an I. That is causing all sorts of problems. The letter J in Times New Roman and Arial looks like a J. Why do we hav to beg to get this changed? It made no sense to have it set to Minion Pro default anyway.2 votes
We need a flattening tool so that we can put stamps/initials/signatures on a pdf that cannot be moved/altered so they can go to our clients. There was a very simple add on to adobe X, but nothing even close in DC. Please update this!2 votes
In Adobe Acrobat Pro DC - add a "subtraction" option in the drop-down box in the Text Fields Properties Box. This would be VERY helpful!
Not having a subtraction option in the Text Field Properties reduces the value of the calculate function. The current "workaround" of inputting a negative number to allow for addition is a poor alternative.2 votes
You can either use a custom JavaScirpt calculation or the simplified field notation calculation, if your field names follow the required convention, with the “-” operator you will be able to perform subtraction.
However, we value your suggestion/ideas and we will have the engineering notified. Should we need more information inregard to this, we shall connect with you
Thank you for your patience.
Form Fills are no longer being detected since updated to the new Mac OSX Mojave.
Previous PDF's that I used successfully with the form fill option are no longer having their fields detected. Not a single aspect of the form has the field detected. When preparing a form, it quickly goes through all pages and detects zero form fills.
Need this function for my work, and it's currently crippling me.
Please bring back the zoom buttons on Acrobat Pro DC.2 votes
I don't want the required fields outlined with a red border when my client opens the form, only when they have completed it if there are any required fields missing. This would seem logical & I cant understand why this isn't already in place?2 votes
You will need to implement keystroke script for this. You can use the Properties dialog > format > Custom options to use.
PDF's when opened will sometimes crash the whole Adobe Acrobat Pro program. They open afterward, but the event viewer shows a fatal error of some kind. I copied four of these into the attached text document.2 votes
Thank you for reporting the issue. We regret you facing inconvenience.
We would need more details on steps to reproduce the issue. And do you experience it on Win or MAC or both.
Share the version of acrobat you are using. You can do so using the link -https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/kb/identify-product-version.html
And also share the test PDF file using forums.adobe.com/docs/DOC-7161 for us to investigate further.
You will not be able to edit the PDF file created from Adobe LiveCycle Designer in Acrobat
You need separate application.
Have a file specifically for recovered files. I just lost 4 hours worth of work because the program crashed and the file reverted!!!2 votes
cannot edit form using livecycle designer as recommended. Upgrade needed with download not available.
Need livecycle designer in DC. Cannot edit form otherwise.2 votes
Adobe Livecycle ES 4 crashes repeatingly after opening the preview screen. It's irritating. I see a lot of ad hoc repair items in this blog by the Adobe Support team (outsourced). There are a lot of issues in this case. When will Adobe really do something about it.
Please let's have a call. In the early days Adobe issues will be solved. Since it's outsources the issues are increasing huge in my opinion.
I have Windows 10 and Adobe Standard v. 2018.011.20038 and when I create a form and click on "Prepare Form" there is a pop up box that says "Adobe Acrobat has stopped working" and then the program shuts down. I have updated the program, clicked on "Repair Installation" and nothing has corrected this issue. Please help!2 votes
I just installed Adobe Acrobat Pro DC and tried to open a Word document to prepare as a form. Though the file loads in the "Select File" box, nothing happens when I click start.2 votes
Please share the acrobat version you are experiencing this issue with .
Have you tried it with any other file to confirm that this is not file-specific issue.
Also, can you “Check for Updates” and re-test the issue with latest version.
Merge Data Files Into Spreadsheet
In previous versions I can see "Merge Data Files Into Spreadsheet" option, but in DC Pro in Prepare Form I don't have or can't see that option.2 votes
How to implement it:
1. Select form fields in overview panel
2. Right-click Batch rename selected form fields…
3. Done and great for javascritping with ease.2 votes
I have a pharma client that I've been working on a Sales Aid for. It was created in InDesign Interactive. At the end of this 8 page (or so) document, there's a simple form for people to request a patient starter kit. No signature is required. We would like to have people submit the form directly to my client, but in Acrobat Pro, the form goes to the end user's email address and they need to forward the form on to my client. This is a 2-step process and not ideal at all for user experience. Client wants the form to go directly to her (vs. first having form come into the user's email as an attachment). Is there a way to do that in Adobe in the future? Thanks!

I'm 2 hours into filling a form and it decides to lock up+#*#.
Don't know what to do but if I loose my info I will quit paying for Acrobat!2 votes
To my satisfaction, everything worked as I suspected.
The following line also worked:
So this seems like an undocumented feature btw pretty useful for small businesses which in general outsource their web services but mantain an onsite file server.2 votes
