  1. Send a form without having to log in to your email account

I want to be able to do form that, when someone fills it, they dont need to log in to their email account to send it to me. I want it that, when pressing the send button, it automatically sends it to my email account.

  2. Allow to rename multiple fields of the same type after auto generating fields.

When I allow Acrobat to auto generate fields Acrobat named each field by the closest text, which is not always, most of the time, the best way to approach things.

I suggest to allow renaming a group of selected items, if they are the same type. Now, when I select multiple fields, even if they are the same type, the field name and tool tip property fields are disabled.

  3. Bug: Cannot save data to form fields completed in Acrobat DC, even with "Enable more tools" option turned on.

After completing an editable form with no restrictions and fillable fields in Acrobat DC, the data typed into the fields does not save. The form is blank when the document is saved and then reopened. Even when "Save as Other" --> "Reader Extended PDF" --> "Enable More Tools" is turned on, the data in the fields cannot be saved. This is a frustrating and time-consuming issue since users must complete the form, and if there are any errors, must then complete the entire form over again from scratch. I have now wasted more than two hours total completing a form…

  4. Stop entering Edit Text & Images mode while editing form fields from Prepare Form mode.

In Adobe Acrobat Pro DC's Prepare Form mode, before one of the more recent updates, I could click and drag my mouse over 1 or more interactive PDF form fields to select/modify and move them as desired.

When I wanted to click away/deselect them, the selected items would simply deselect no matter where I clicked (including existing text elements) and leave me in Prepare Form mode.

Now, when I attempt to deselect interactive fields by clicking on any element, such as text, Adobe Acrobat Pro DC takes me to Edit Text & Images mode.

If I want to click and…

  5. multiple text line links tab order

Using 13.1. Don't know if this is an Acrobat or an InDesign issue, but recently noticed that if I have text that flows to 2 lines and that has a hyperlink behind it, in Acrobat, the tags show the link as having two Link-OBJR, but they are the reverse of reading order. So if you tab the page, you go from 2nd line of text to first. So,

    'Go to

    the store'

tabs as if it is 'the store' 'go to'. The underlying link is fine--no issue there--it's the tab order and tag order (tag order perhaps then impacting screen…

  6. Sliding Scale

It would be great if users could insert a sliding scale field for range questions (like a 1-10 question) in the same way that we can insert a checkbox or text field when creating a form. I have to create employee appraisal templates and I need to include a slider scale. I have attached an example of a sliding scale.

  7. tab order not persisting

I have manually set my tab order three times now.... And three times now when I save it for publication the tab order reverts to row.. I have set custom columns. Is there a setting I am missing????? Can't find anything on web except history of this kind of issue in older versions but no solution.

  10. Read only form fields become visible when a digital signature is applied and then cleared

    Environment:
Windows. Adobe Acrobat Pro DC Version 2019.012.20040

Expected result is that the text field remains Read Only when the digital signature is cleared.

What happens is the Read Only field appears visible as if it can have data entered into it.

Unfortunately I cannot seem to reproduce it on other forms, and I cannot attach this form as it is proprietary. Not sure if this is a familiar problem with others.

  11. Allowing .ai files to be uploaded into image fields in pdf forms.

As a graphic design, I use the same few .ai art files per day. duplicated into new files. For over a year, I've been able to select .ai files to upload directly into a image field in art proof form (which is also duplicated and reused over and over) that I created. This is a function that I was able to do hundreds of times over the past year.

Then after running an update to Mac Catalina on 10/31, Acrobat Pro DC no longer allows .ai files (however .eps files are accepted) to be directly uploaded into image fields. The…

  12. BUG: Continually kicked out of Adobe when doing form design

I've always used Acrobat X Pro with LiveCycle to create my forms. Our forms are extensive so not that easy to create in word and then convert to PDF form so i "free hand" (create New) created all the original forms. Now i'm using Acrobat Pro DC subscription. Create from New does not have the features of LiveCycle so now i'm resorting to having to create the form in word first, then convert it to a PDF form and rebuild the majority of my fields, check boxes, drop down lists, radio buttons because those don't come through. First off this…

  15. Prepare form issue

When using Prepare Form for making a pdf fillable form, you can copy and paste multiple fields by selecting over.

Now, if you try to do it, unless you're zoomed in, it will automatically change to text edit. This needs to stay in prepare form mode...

  16. Need Form Options for "Open Square" and "Open Circle" Radio Button Styles

When adding Radio Buttons on forms, users need options for "Open Square" and "Open Circle" Button Styles. The inside/middle of the button should be transparent, so that users can easily see the text behind their underlying choice. This would simulate users circling a choice with a pencil/marker rather than completely "filling in" the circle or square.

Additionally, it would be nice to be able to change line color and line thickness of the "open circle" or "open square". Currently, users can only change the border color and line thickness of ALL radio buttons, regardless of whether the button is selected…

  17. calculations are wrong

the addition calculations are wrong . See attached Picture. How can the total be 11 instead of 12. I even set the default values in the fields as 0, and still junk calculation.

  19. Old feature for setting tab order wanted back, was easier to use, was better than the current

older is sometimes better. The older method of setting tab order was faster and easier to work with then the current clunky poorly designed method

  20. Form data doesn't print from Acrobat Forms (AcroForm)

Printing a filled-in PDF Form (AcroForm, not XFA) is unreliable.

File / Print does not work reliably, regardless of which printer is selected (even PDF Virtual Printer) or the options for comments, etc.

    The problem is sporadic.

Several of our clients have had this happen, and there are frequent posts on the Adobe Forums for this problem.

    https://community.adobe.com/t5/Acrobat/W9-s/m-p/10668894#M222034

    Our testing results:

-- None of the form data prints, but the form skeleton does.

-- Some random form field data prints, but not all of it. Different field data will print each time the form is printed.

    -- Certain types of…
