  1. Prepare form issue

When using Prepare Form for making a pdf fillable form, you can copy and paste multiple fields by selecting over.

Now, if you try to do it, unless you're zoomed in, it will automatically change to text edit. This needs to stay in prepare form mode...

  2. Need Form Options for "Open Square" and "Open Circle" Radio Button Styles

When adding Radio Buttons on forms, users need options for "Open Square" and "Open Circle" Button Styles. The inside/middle of the button should be transparent, so that users can easily see the text behind their underlying choice. This would simulate users circling a choice with a pencil/marker rather than completely "filling in" the circle or square.

Additionally, it would be nice to be able to change line color and line thickness of the "open circle" or "open square". Currently, users can only change the border color and line thickness of ALL radio buttons, regardless of whether the button is selected…

  3. calculations are wrong

the addition calculations are wrong . See attached Picture. How can the total be 11 instead of 12. I even set the default values in the fields as 0, and still junk calculation.

  5. Old feature for setting tab order wanted back, was easier to use, was better than the current

older is sometimes better. The older method of setting tab order was faster and easier to work with then the current clunky poorly designed method

  6. Form data doesn't print from Acrobat Forms (AcroForm)

Printing a filled-in PDF Form (AcroForm, not XFA) is unreliable.

File / Print does not work reliably, regardless of which printer is selected (even PDF Virtual Printer) or the options for comments, etc.

    The problem is sporadic.

Several of our clients have had this happen, and there are frequent posts on the Adobe Forums for this problem.

    https://community.adobe.com/t5/Acrobat/W9-s/m-p/10668894#M222034

    Our testing results:

-- None of the form data prints, but the form skeleton does.

-- Some random form field data prints, but not all of it. Different field data will print each time the form is printed.

    -- Certain types of…

  8. Crash when renaming multiple fields.

Adobe Acrobat freeze when renaming a group of fields.

    1. Use prepare form tool

    2. Organize fields by "Alphabetic Order."

    3. Right click on a field group and select "rename."

    4. Enter a new name for the field group.

  9. adding blank option to dropdown

Ive created a form with about 20 drop down fields as most of these fields wont be used at the same time. When trying to send through adobesign, it restricts me from moving forward because I have "blanks or spaces entered." If there was a null or blank option that would leave the boxes empty vs. having to have the fields/dropdowns all say "please select if applicable," this would give it a much cleaner look

  10. Acrobat DC restricted by GPO. Working on Whitelist.

Using Server 2016 Standard domain. Under "Run Only Specified Windows Applications" the following EXEs have been whitelisted:

    AcroRd32.exe
    Creative Cloud.exe
    Adobe CEF Helper.exe
    CCLibrary.exe
    Adobe Desktop Service.exe
    AdobeARM.exe
    RdrCEF.exe
    armsvc.exe
    AdobeARMservice.exe

It's probably a simple fix I haven't found yet. Please let me know if there is some other configuration I need to change or additional programs I should whitelist in order to make Acrobat DC start correctly for non-privileged users. It seemed to be working without issue recently until issues began being reported to me this week. Version is up to date.

  14. Cannot edit file as a form due to security settings

Have spent about 8 hours remediated a form to make it accessible and now my final version (I have saved 14 versions during editing) will suddenly not allow me to edit the form fields or even enter the "Prepare form" tool. When I open this doc, I immediately get a message that "cannot reflow this page because it contains interactive annotations. I hit OK and then I try to enter form editing and get the "Cannot edit file as a form due to security settings". I didn't set any security limitations and when I try to open/edit security, it grayed…

  15. Remove required field red box once criteria is satisfied

There is javascript for this but you have to enter it individually for each field and it doesnt work for radio buttons. Please add this as a standard feature. The red boxes are confusing and misleading if a form has been properly filled in.

  16. Add "modes" to JavaScript authoring

Add authoring "modes" (desktop vs. mobile) to the JavaScript editor so that the syntax checker will alert the form author when JavaScript objects, properties, or methods in their code are not supported on Adobe viewers on mobile devices.

  17. Checkmark Symbol needed for Dropdown form

Recent changes at work require a dropdown list that includes the option to select a "Checkmark", ie Wingdings Unicode 252 or similar. I have been unable to add a checkmark to my Options > Item List. Cut/paste results in a different symbol than desired.

Is this option already available for Acrobat Pro DC, (if so, how?), or is this a new request?
    Kindest regards - Sam

  18. Bug: LiveCycle Designer form not showing up in Acrobat Pro 2019.012.20036

Since the update from 2019.012.20035 to 20036 I cannot even view a PDF-Form created in LiveCycle Designer on Acrobat Pro Win any longer. Also the DataMatrix-Field that worked perfect with 20035 is not updating in Adobe Reader (where I CAN display the form!!!). On a Mac with same version visibility of the form YES, but also no updates of DMC on both Pro and Reader. This must be fixed very soon!

  19. Add full Javascript property support to Span Object

Currently, in the JavaScript API, the Span Object properties only support a subset of the formatting options available in the Properties toolbar. Please add properties to the Span Object to fully support all properties that can be set via the UI.

  20. Recover files

Is there a way to shut off the file recovery feature? I close out of files using the red box in the upper corner of the program. It keeps asking me if I want to recover the files because the program closed unexpectedly. The blue flag popping up all the time is distracting.
