  1. Drag and Drop functionality for CSV files into PDF forms

It would be great to have a PDF form be populated by dragging and and dropping a CSV (or other format) file onto it.

  4. Add remaining characters counter to text form with character limit

Add a function to Adobe Acrobat Pro Create Forms, so that when a character limit is applied to a text box a counter appears to indicate the remaining number of characters available to the user.

Thank you for reporting the issue. We regret you facing inconvenience.

Seems the PDF documents have restrictions w.r.t page extractions and signing operations. Please check Document Properties (CTRL+D or CMD+D) > Security and see if any document security is applied.
If you are not the author of the PDF, you will need to contact him/her to.

Please share the version of acrobat you are using. You can do so using the link -helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/kb/identify-product..

And also share the test PDF file using forums.adobe.com/docs/DOC-7161 for us to investigate further if this does not resolve your issue.

  7. Bug: Text doubles up in 'required' fields

Forms made in Acrobat Pro DC on a Mac running High Sierra, OS 10.13.6. When specifying fields 'required' any text entered doubles up when printed on a pc.
Tried changing field background colour to white to block out doubled text, but cannot make the fields non-transparrant

  9. BUG: I used to be able to edit documents by filling out blocks in the format. It does not have that facility any more

You are offering me the option of continuing a cancelled subscription for Acrobat DC.

I used to be able to edit a document that had block fill spaces in it by using the Text editing option for alligning the blocks.

This does not exist any more.

I had to highlight all the blocks on the page. Then I entered the details. This was followed by placing spaces inbetween to align each character per block.

I have 4 days left to make the annual purchase but if this is what is being offered then I will revert to filling a document…

  10. In creating a form have a field where a user can click in and a use pen or finger to write or sign

In Forms having a signature that requires a save every time is too much when their is multiple signatures especially when the form does not change between signing. the fill and sign is better however it does not work with the button reset a form. So having a field form similar to the text but allows the user to write by pen or finger that is also clear able should be an option.

  11. Auto OCR in Edit mode

Please make this feature optional per document, its very useful in some cases but a right pain when not required i.e. large documents containing scanned text.

please, please, pretty please can this be sorted?

  12. I can't get Acrobat to auto create check boxes when I "prepare form" - a .docx with check boxes printed to PDF, making form fillable.

I can't get Acrobat to auto create check boxes when I "prepare form" - this is a .docx with check boxes printed to PDF, making form fillable. I want Acrobat to detect the check boxes and automatically add them instead of manually adding 100 checkboxes, taking way too much time.

  14. auto fill not working

When auto-complete is turned on for a form, field entries are being saved but fail to auto-complete. For a form created in Acrobat, I can go to Edit-->Preferences-->Forms-->Auto-Complete-->Edit Entry List and see all the strings I would like to auto-complete. But they never auto-complete. I can find no factor why that is failing

You can use the following steps to
    > Right Click on the Tools bar and select "Customize Quick Tools.
    >Navigate to “Prepare Form” > More Form Options
    > Click on the “Add to toolbar” button.
    > Click Save.

You should now have the “Merge Data into Spreadsheet” as a drop down options now.

    I hope this helps

Please share the acrobat version you are experiencing this issue with .You can do so using the link -helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/kb/identify-product..

Have you tried it with any other file to confirm that this is not file-specific issue.

Also, can you “Check for Updates” and re-test the issue with latest version.

  17. Calulations are difficult why can't it just cary them over from word or excell

Why not make the math table calculations carry over from word and excel instead of having to use java. Even the tools don't even subtract or divide.

  18. Annotations should appear above the image in a form image field

Currently when a user fills a form image field annotations are placed below this image, making it impossible (or arduous for the pdf creator) to annotate images that have been filled into the form.

Seeing as it's an intuitively powerfull tool to be able to annotate (nb. point out) things on an image I'd like to see this be easyer to accomplish/baseline.

    See: https://forums.adobe.com/thread/2467988

Thank you in advance for the consideration.

  19. Convert to radio group

I should be able to create a radio group inside a form without custom scripting. An example would be to select a number of check boxes and group them together and choose to group them as a radio button group.
