2. Text Box (not font) is black

   When I click on a field to populate, the text box becomes black. Therefore I cannot see what I type in the field. How do I change this?! I need to complete a document as soon as possible, and this issue is holding me up. Thanks.

4. Place image ability in fillable save-enabled PDF form via READER, not edit via Pro

   Place image (click field, browse for image, image selected, fit with options to Fit Proportional to Image and Fit proportional to frame) in fillable, save-enabled PDF form via READER, not edit via Pro. This is to allow end users to place a logo in a standardized form (sponsorships, partnerships, etc). To limit this to Pro as a layout option only is such a waste.

   As a workaround, please try the following
   1. Deactivate “Show field preview when editing or adding fields” in the Fields tab of the Preferences

   2. Switch off JavaScript while you work

   3. Please update Acrobat to the latest patch and check if that resolves the issue. Launch Acrobat > click “check for updates” under Help menu.
   Let us know how it goes.

7. Make Form Conversions easier .

   Make Form Conversions more intuitive and accurate. The cursor still jumps around and seldom allows me to position it where I want to type.

   Thank you for your suggestion. We shall need more information on how does the “cursor jump around” and what workflow of “Form Conversions” are you using.

   Is it converting MSWord to Acroform or via scanning.?

   Steps to reproduce the issue: Create an exportAsFDF script in a privileged context in a folder level script. Specify an array of some but not every child field of a non-terminal field name using the aFields parameter with exportAsFDF. Next, employ ALL child fields of that multi-field set a pdf, not just the fields in the array, and enter values in every field in the family. Call the script from the pdf to export and save the fdf file. Reset the fields in the pdf to a blank state. Import the fdf file to that pdf.

   Environment: Acrobat Pro DC; Mac OS High Sierra

   Expected result: only the field names and values of the specific fields in the aFields array should be exported.

   Observed result: child field names and their values from the same non-terminal parent are exported with the array even though they are NOT included in the array.

9. Bug - long dynamically-generated multi-item dropdown field list doesn't scroll the whole way

   In the attached file

   -Select a grade under Grade Level
   -Open up the standards selections under "I am going to learn" under any of the lessons
   -Use the scroll bar to scroll down as far as you can

   I'm developing the document on a Mac OS X system but I have also repro'd the issue on a Windows system.

   Expected Behavior
   I expected the scrolling to go all the way down to the last item on the list.

   Observed behavior
   The scroll only lets you go partway down the list. You can use the arrow keys to continue down the list, but that's not the most elegant solution.

   I'm not the greatest programmer in the world, but I'm fairly confident in my code's stability. The only thing I can think is that it's a bug... somewhere. I'm using Acrobat CC 2018, and the Javascript to change the dropdowns is in the "Grade Level" form field.

    I'm 2 hours into filling a form and it decides to lock up+#*#.
    Don't know what to do but if I loose my info I will quit paying for Acrobat!

11. More direct 'Submit' button

    I have a pharma client that I've been working on a Sales Aid for. It was created in InDesign Interactive. At the end of this 8 page (or so) document, there's a simple form for people to request a patient starter kit. No signature is required. We would like to have people submit the form directly to my client, but in Acrobat Pro, the form goes to the end user's email address and they need to forward the form on to my client. This is a 2-step process and not ideal at all for user experience. Client wants the form to go directly to her (vs. first having form come into the user's email as an attachment). Is there a way to do that in Adobe in the future? Thanks!

12. Partial drop down search giving unexpected results in DC

    I have been discussing an issue on this thread in the support forum: https://forums.adobe.com/thread/2445804

    I will outline the issue below again, however.

    Users have the ability to do a partial search of the drop down, to filter down to what they're looking to find: https://i.imgur.com/S0P3T17.png

    However, when selecting one of the options from within the remaining options available, the results are not always as intended. In this case, I will search "Adult B" to choose Adult Brass Dragon. When selecting Adult Brass Dragon, the following script is enacted via the validation section of the drop down properties:

    applyMonster(event.value, 0);

    This should be choosing the option I chose, and passing it through my scripts to fill the rest of the form with information. Nothing else manipulates this drop down, aside from choosing the manual that needs to be chosen beforehand.

    I am using Acrobat Pro DC, and Reader DC to test this. A user with XI has confirmed that partial drop down search works fine for him.

15. copy and paste with different names

    When you have to resize a field such as a check box, it is more efficient to do a copy and paste. However, it is a pain to have to go back and edit each and every field with a unique name. This occurs because your paste autopopulates the name field with the same name. This feature should be able to be turn on or off as needed.

    In https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/using/setting-action-buttons-pdf-forms.html you can read:

    “When you distribute a form, Acrobat automatically checks the form. If it doesn’t find a submit button, it adds a Submit Form button to the document message bar. Users can click the Submit Form button to send completed forms back to you. If you don’t plan to use the Submit Form button created by Acrobat, you can add a custom submit button to your form.”

    I added a Submit button to a form and when I distributed it I got two submit buttons: the one I added plus the standard one generated by Acrobat inside the purple banner, both buttons work as expected.

    I am using Acrobat DC Pro.

17. Issue with Order Tabs Manual versus Unspecified

    May be a bug. This is for Adobe Acrobat Standard DC Version 2015.006.30355. Happens when dealing with RADIO buttons and using Manual Tabs setting. I can move the Radio group field over and over in the right panel, but it will go right back to original position after a Save and open in edit again. After moving it in right panel, it won't change the tab # when viewing tab numbers either. Discovered I have to select "Order Tabs Unspecified", make the move, and then save. It defaults back to Manual after every save (even when still in edit mode), so have to reset to "unspecified" if additional moves needed. Also noticed that even though I have a particular order on the Radio button CHOICES, it will randomly just order them differently. Ex: Made A, B and C choices. After a Save, the order may be C, B, A. Have to set to "Unspecified", manually move in right panel, and then save to make them stick. If it ever defaults back to Manual Tabs while doing multiple reorders, they don't stay. Has to be unspecified. I couldn't find any available reference that said this was the 'normal' procedure. All documents I found always referenced the MANUAL move.

    A form created with LifeCycle Designer as a 2D Barcode. This Barcode is activated using Abdobe Lifecycle Reader extensions. Work on Windows and older version of the Mac, but not with the latest version (Version 2017.009.20044)

20. Detailed step-by-setp instructions to create complex forms

    There are many basic youtube videos on creating forms. I need to know how to create complex forms with equation, reference fields and so on. What i learned from what is available out there is not adequate and doesn't work all the time. So better instructions are needed. You sell a product but must also provide good instructions on how to use it well. If there isn't any internal resource, please contract 3-party to do so. i have spent so much time on it and am still fumbling around. Very unproductive with my time.
