Bug- PDF printing everything as landscape
Adobe PDF was printing documents in appropriate portrait format 2 days ago. Today, the same document and every other document that I try to print is printing as landscape. I ensured everything is marked as portrait, I deleted and resaved files, and nothing is fixing the problem. I also tried printing same document directly from In Design and it is printing as portrait. So it is definitely a PDF glitch.

Why can't I customize the paper size to print in Acrobat?
In Acrobat Pro (desktop app on Windows 11 Pro), what happened to the option to customize paper size from the print settings? I just wasted over an hour with the worst Adobe tech support guy who uninstalled my app, reinstalled it, tried a preflight setting, then told me to call Canon and have them change their printer settings and disconnected our chat! Is creating a custom size of paper to print no longer an option?

bug: particular PDF file does not print in Reader DC
Hi, this file is viewable but does not print in Adobe Reader DC with these specs:
Architecture: arm64
Processor: Apple M2
Build: 25.1.20438.0
AGM: 7.1.10
CoolType: 10.0.0
JP2K: 4.0.2.54782(Current MacOS Sequoia.)
I get an error dialog.
Apple Preview on the same system prints the file, but oversized (full-size 8.5x11 page).
Firefox (current) PDF plug-in prints more-or-less properly, although the edges are trimmed (size seems correct).

Printing Problem
Outputs PRINT command instead of Document
Starting in March 2025, when I try to print a .PDF file (using Acrobat Reader DC ver. 25.001.20435), the output (from my Epson Expressions XP-4100 inkjet "all-in-one" device) consists of multiple pages concerning the Print command (note point [c] below), rather than the actual document! (I am using a [2020] HP laptop running [64-bit} WIndows 10 [Ver. 22H2 (OS Build 19045.5608)].)
(a) To stop that "repetitive" printing, I must uninstall and reinstall the printer. (I have also chosen to stop the Print Spooler, deleted the files and folders in %WINDIR%\system32\spool\printers, and then restarted the…

small font eventually becomes Greeking
If I've had a PDF file open for a while, the small font (in this case, denoting what PMS ink color to use) changes to Greeking/nonsense characters and PRINTS as such. As the file in question is one that is frequently used, that this file print correctly regardless of how long it's been open is important. And please note that a "while" is approximately 30min. to an hour at a time.

Please could Acrobat be intelligent about paper sizes when printing???
I have just printed an A5 PDF onto 50 sheets of A5 paper. But Acrobat wasn't intelligent enough to realise it was an A5 PDF, so it scaled it up to A4. As a result half the information was missing on the printouts and what was visible was huge. And I wasted an hour of my time and a lot of paper.
Please could Acrobat be intelligent enough to realise that if someone is printing an A5 PDF they would normally want to print it onto A5 paper. You should not have to change the paper size in Printer Propertes…

Best Practices for Exporting Designs for Custom Printed Wax Paper
I’m working with custom food packaging designs and often need to export high-quality vector files for printing. One challenge I face is ensuring that transparency and color accuracy remain intact, especially when working with wax paper printing.
I've been using Adobe Acrobat to review and optimize my PDFs before sending them to print. However, I’d love to hear how others handle color profiles and transparency flattening to maintain print quality.
For context, I’m working with a custom wax paper printing project (https://customwaxpaper.com/) and need to ensure the final output looks as expected. Any tips on Acrobat settings or…

Multiple issues with new Acrobat Standard 2024 operation
I have a new Dell Precision laptop and installed the newest version (2024) of Acrobat Standard. It does not function properly.
- Sometimes printing a pdf it does not like the fonts and defaults to a .log file.
- Trying to print an existing pdf double sided, it only flips on the short side no matter how it is configured.
I figured that the installation was corrupt, so I attempted to 'Repair'. However the repair fails and gives Error 1311 stating that the "source file not found. Verify that the file exists and the you can access it." The stated source file…

BUG: Distiller Opens When Printing PDF In Sonoma
Acrobat has endless problems with Sonoma. One of these is that Distiller opens when you print a PDF. To say this is annoying would be an understatement as it often opens and is buried under many other open applications - so you actually don't know it is open.
In initial versions of Sonoma this happened 100% of the time, it seems a bit better with subsequent updates to the OS but it is STILL a problem and happens 25% of the time.
It shouldn't be happeniing at all. period.

BUG: Sonoma Print Center Pulls Focus
Acrobat has endless problems with Sonoma. One of them is that when you print anything out of Acrobat, the 'new' Print Center pulls focus. This means that the print Center application places itself on top of any other open application. This is annoying and unnecessary - and NO other application does this.
This interrupts any workflow you have going and mandates the user stop what they are doing and hide the application. Not sure if this is intentional or a bug - but it serves NO purpose and again, no other application in Sonoma does this.

BUG: page order prints inconsistently
Acrobat has endless problems with Sonoma. One of them is an inability to print PDF pages in the correct order. Sometimes the application prints pages 1-7, sometimes it prints 7-1.
And yes, I am aware I can modify this setting by going to print dialogue > pages to print> more options > reverse pages. But once set it should produce consistent results - which it does NOT.
This needs to be fixed!

print in gray scale - printed reverse - all black with white text - thank you Adobe as usual. Where is the print just as b&W
- thank you Adobe as usual. Where is the print just as b&W - did you hide that in some other menu? again as usual. Using a mac went thru a lot of ink to get saturated pages that are unreadable without a blacklight. as this goes to user voice and not actual adobe people I have little hope - as usual

Duplicate file to Printer problem.
Every time on my iMac I print a PDF Acrobat send 2 files to the HP Envy Inspire printer.
The first file prints only top left third of first page ! The second file prints correct full document. This is doubling my paper output.
This did not happen before I installed Acrobat tools then cancelled my subscription as they were overkill for my basic printing needs.1 vote -
"Use full printable area" in booklet mode not working properly
I am using Adobe Acrobat on Windows 11 to print an A4 document as an A5 booklet on a Lexmark MS317dn laser printer.
With default printer settings in the Adobe Acrobat dialogue, the document is scaled down to about 97% of the 70.7% that I would expect for A4 to A5 conversion and left-justified. This makes the printed A5 pages off-centre to the left by about 4mm. Up until a few months ago, selecting the "Use full printable area" in the Properties -> Paper/finishing dialogue corrected this and produced an acceptable result. Doing this now, however, results in a properly…1 vote -
Page size displaying incorrectly in print dialog
All dimensions for ISO paper sizes like A4 and A3 are integer numbers of millimetres. For example, A3 is 420mm x 297mm exactly and if there are any numbers after the decimal point then they should be all zeroes.
The Print dialog box shows two decimal places with non-zero numbers. For example it shows A3 landscape as 419.95 x 296.93mm. These numbers after the decimal place are useless, but they are also incorrect. It should display "420 x 297mm" or "420.00 x 297.00 mm"
Please remove the erroneous non-zero numbers after the decimal point.

Please make “Print in grayscale (black and white)” work
Please make “Print in grayscale (black and white)” work in the next continuous release version of Adobe Acrobat for 64-bit computers.
The fact that it does not work now has wasted a lot of precious color ink for a lot of people. Perhaps enough to add up to a class action lawsuit. Or Adobe could maybe head that off by proactively sending $1.00 checks to all currently registered users.
