    Dear Adobe team.
I wish I could print a batch of PDFs to PDFs as an image. Print> Advanced> Select 'Print as image'. If you had the option of including multiple PDFs in that functionality, it would save you a lot of work. I have hundreds of PDFs in which I inserted a watermark, and I need to send it to my client, but I don't want to take the risk of having the watermark removed. Then the solution would convert and generate a new PDF with the printed pages as an image, merging the content with the watermark…

  2. Recently when I try to print PDFs to my HP LaserJet P1102w, from a mac running Catalina 10.15.5, the documents don't print and there is an error "filter failed." This does not happen when I try to print Word documents. I am connected to the printer via a USB cable. I am able to print to other HP printers in the house. I have tried removing and reinstalling the printer driver, but this does not fix the problem and I still get an error "filter failed."

Because this only happens when trying to print PDFs, I think this may be…

  3. Why can't I print double-sided all of a sudden to an HP LaserJet Pro 400? This was working fine until today. Now there's no option at all, and nothing in the "Properties" box.

I'm paying $14.99 per month to use Acrobat Pro DC on 2 computers. I don't have this difficulty on the other one. Why is this now a problem? I just "upgraded" to Pro DC, and now I can't print double-sided. This is very inconvenient.

  5. legal paper is 3 inches longer than letter. Most documents are letter. It would be nice to be able to print notes and markups from a letter documents on legal paper and use the extra space for the markup

  6. Would like to pre-set my desired page Layout and Magnification (Pages panel and page, single page, fit width) so that all print to PDF pages are stored with those default settings. As is I have to print and modify every single output file accordingly. Thanks!

  8. Multiple pages on the print driver needs an option for ONE per page. The need to select SIZE to go back to printing one per page is NOT obvious! Whoever decided that was a good idea is nuts.

  9. I am having trouble printing PDF documents right now. When I attempt to print, my laptop immediately takes me to a print to pdf option even though I am selecting my printer as opposed to the print to pdf option. I really need this fixed quickly

  10. Disappointed adobe acrobat pro dc cannot print manual double sided to my HP Ofice Jet 4620. MS Word can do it easily. I thought adobe acrobat was supposed to be a step ahead of MS Word? Is there a set up step or option missed?

  13. When I try to print a specific range of pages from some documents (e.g. page 2-3 only), if I were to click in the preview window to refresh, then it would show pages 3-4 as ready to be printed instead. When I tested this on another document (Oregon DMV manual), if I try to print pages 2-3, it would show pages 2-11 as ready to be printed instead. The error in page ranges seems random, and it also does not occur with every PDF document that I open.

I just encountered this bug a few days ago using Adobe Reader…

  14. Mac OS Catalina Version 10.15.4, Fujitsu ScanSnap i500, HP Officejet Pro 8210. Acrobat DC
I cannot print some large files to my HP 8210. It spends a long time sending it, but nothing happens except it disappears from the que. Since having to abandon the old Acrobat 11 Pro, this has been a reoccurring problem.

  15. To have the similar printing capabilities in other platforms. I often work with large size drawings. I print snipets using an 8.5x11 printer. When I get to the outer margin of the page (left-side mostly) I can't print using CURRENT VIEW at ACTUAL SIZE. This is very frustrating. I have to take a 15-step work around setting print box pages/cropping to get what I need. Only then to try and remember not to SAVE the file and the cropped view.

In AutoCad for example, I can pick my "plot" area using a window box (see files). This gives me the…

  16. I need to be able to add a file name (or a bookmark name) to the header or footer. It seems there might be third party add-ins out there, but I would think it would be something Adobe could do.

  18. Steps:
    1. open a PDF normally, and edit it, such as by adding text or inserting pages
    2. without saving or closing the open PDF, go to Finder, right-click and press command-P to print the PDF
    3. the print window appears, with all of the in-progress edits
    4. click "Cancel" and the PDF is closed, without saving the changes and without a warning about unsaved changes.

When printing a PDF from Finder, Acrobat should check whether the file was already open, and not close it if it was. If it does close the file, it should check to see if…

  19. File --> print to Acrobat PDF in Edge browser often creates a PDF with scrambled unreadable text. Print to PDF works fine in Chrome. Acrobat techs: Please look into why Acrobat PDF printer driver does not work well in Edge. Create an Acrobat extension for use in Edge.

  20. Microsoft Office products, such as Word or Excel, have the ability to remember previous printing preferences, even when you move the saved document to a different area or attach to an email. The document will still print, with your saved preferences. This is a feature that is highly needed on Adobe. For those of us with high profile clientele, it's nice for the client to be able to print without having to set settings or change preferences.
