  1. When I give print command for a pdf from acrobat to my HP inkjet printer. some images print with knockout patch or dotted ruling prints bold ruling. But when I give print command from another pdf viewer like edge or chrome, it prints as it looks on the screen. please suggest.

  2. When I try to print, I get two error messages, one stating that the PDF file can't be printed, and the second that no pages were selected (which isn't true).

  7. I think my version of Adobe Acrobat Pro was upgraded and now it won't recognize any of my Windows 11 Pro printers. I see them in Windows settings, but adobe says I don't have any and won't let me print as it says I don't have any to print to and that I should add at least one.

  8. Missing option to print on both sides in print dialogue window (I've adjusted all settings, ensured that the print features for printing on both sides were enabled, yet STILL, the option to print on both sides is missing since the recent update) - used to be there, but since the update, no longer there. VERY FRUSTRATING.

  9. When a new version of a MacOS is released, Adobe applications are not yet compatible with this new version of MacOS.

    In my case I updated my MacBook with MacOS SONOMA and I have issues to create and print PDFs.

    Generally, Adobe developers are still in the testing phase to make applications compatible. So, it is generally advisable to wait a few weeks before upgrading to a new version of an OS to avoid this type of problem.

    A preventive pop-up alert message should be sent to all Adobe Acrobat users as soon as a new OS is about to…

  10. For some reason, certain large format files get stuck in flattening mode and in some cases cause Adobe to crash. Either way, I am completely unable to print these PDFs using a large format plotter. I've had to download a different product just to print certain large format files. This never used to happen before. What's wrong?

  11. When selecting print to Adobe PDF, there should be an option to print a physical copy to the default printer at the same time as saving the document in a file location. This is a very common practice for many, and would save much time.

  12. Printing all documents from a PDF portfolio is incredibly important and needs to be added back in!

  14. When I attempt to print a document from many other applications which have print capability, it forces me to convert the document to a PDF format first before I can print it, and it also forces me to save the file first. I don't see any way to disable this so I can print directly from the application. It would be very helpful if I could print directly from the application. If converting the document to PDF format first could be made optional, that would be very helpful.

  15. The Print Dialog no longer allows you to go to the system dialogue for print or set up features unique to a printer. For example, we need to occasionally print shipping labels to stickers. Instead of using the casette of plain paper, we load a single sticker page into the rear slot and tell the printer paper source to go there. We cannot do that as of 23.003.

  17. When converting certain outlined PDFs to PDF/X using the Preflight tool, in the resulting PDF many characters are missing (already on screen, before printing). This makes the Preflight tool unusable.

    1. Open cmyk-14-input.pdf
    2. Use print production -> Preflight -> PDF/X -> Convert to PDF/X-4 (Coated FOGRA39) or any other of the PDF/X profiles or use the "Standards" tab with "Apply corrections" checkbox enabled.
    3. The resulting PDF is completely destroyed (see cmyk-14-output_audit.pdf)

    Environment: Windows 10, Adobe Acrobat 23.1.20174.0
    Expected result: An output visually similar to the input cmyk-14-input.pdf
    Observed result: A garbled output like cmyk-14-output_audit.pdf

  18. After an Adobe update, cannot print certain PowerPoint files to PDF. Notepad captures "Meiryo-Bold not found, using Courier", but print process never completes. Need help/support to resolve this issue, again, was able to print same file prior to update.

  19. We often will use Print to add pages to a PDF. The PDF is open in Adobe, they can use the Adobe Printer Driver to print a word document at the end of an open PDF it's an easy way to combine multiple documents. In Kofax you could Print - a dialogue box opens asking do you want to add at end, beginning, at cursor location or create a new PDF. Very helpful to our users.

  20. MAC OS 13.2.1 (22D68)

    I have an editable pdf (attached) which can be opened and filled in Adobe Reader, but when I try to print to PDF, it's not working. I added a fake printer by following the instructions in the link below and was able to reach the system dialog for printing, but when I try to save the PDF, Adobe gives an error.
