Why is "Up to" without a space on the print window? See attached png.2 votes
When you open a pdf file and click on the print icon or go to file - print, the program becomes unresponsive and you must end the process.

When you are about to print, the first page of the PDF preview comes out blank. If you click the right arrow to see Page 2, the PDF preview appears again to page 2. However, if you press the left arrow to go back, then all PDF preview pages go blank.2 votes
Adobe Acrobat Pro DC on Windows 10 ver 1803 is unable to print the pdf file. It says "not responding" for an hour. I reboot the computer, restart the program and the same result each time.
As the world continues to use PDFs for EVERYthing, it is so so important that people are aware of Overprint Preview. However, most people don't know it even exists in their page display preferenc. If you don't have this turned on things that are set to overprint will show as if they are not overprinting (mostly on the customer's end). Because the default of Acrobat is not to have Overprint Preview turned on, customers don't realize the problem. In the printing industry this is one of the biggest stumbling stones (boulders) we come across. That and fonts, of course.2 votes
I would like to be able to insert print breaks (force next page to print on top page in duplex).
Currently, the only way to do this is to add a blank page, however, this looks very odd when viewing the electronic version versus the printed copy. It would be nice if there was a way to force certain pages to be treated as a first page for printing purposes (conceptually similar to how a page break forces the next line of text onto the next page)

I have 2 problems with the New Adobe update.
1) There is No Way to Reverse Print so the doc does not have to be HAND Reversed to be in Readable Order on my HPOffice Jet Pro 7740.
2) There is No way to Print Both sides on my printer HPOffice Jet Pro 77402 votes
When you print to pdf or perform some action where it saves the file, it typically goes to the location you last printed to or saved to. In my case, this is typically a location where I was working on my last project and not the most current project file on a network. What would be really sweet would be if when you export, save, or print a file etc. that it would give the option of selecting from presently open windows file folders. Or perhaps if you could create a shortcut to a file location in adobe that you are able to select when you print, so that you could work on multiple projects without having to re-navigate.

I created a PDF from Illustrator and I opened the file. It gave me this error message: "Cannot extract the embedded font [font name]. Some characters may not display or print correctly."2 votes

Can you share following details:
Which version of Acrobat/Reader are you using?
Which printer and what printer settings?

Can you share a test file with us via Document Cloud or Dropbox link?
I cannot print my certificates from Acrobat now. I have to move to word to print each page with a boarder. This started with the update. I print many certs a day and this takes far more time and changes the font. If it does not have a boarder I can print. This is frustrating and a waste of time. I did not have this problem before.2 votes
Sorry for inconvenience caused, we have fixed few print issue in recent patch (19.008.20074). Please check your Acrobat is updated. You can update by opening the application (Acrobat/Reader) and going to Help > Check for Updates.
If you still face the issue, please share few detail to narrow down the issue:
1. What error are you getting while printing? Is some data is missing from Print output.
2. What is the printer/Driver you are using?
3. What kind of boarder does the file contain? If possible please share/send sample file on firstname.lastname@example.org
Thanks in advance,
When trying to enter bleed and crop marks I try and change the size to A4. But it is grayed out.2 votes
Just updated to the new version (19.008.20071) as of yesterday and noticed when printing a larger document (A4) and have it "Shrink Oversized Pages" to print onto a letter size paper, it will print as if correctly but cuts off the top "inch" of the actual printed text as if that was the end of the page, in which it can still print in that section, but the scaling down process is somehow bugged out.2 votes

When printing from Chrome on Windows with Adobe PDF and then trying to highlight it in Acrobat Pro there is some strange problems. IT marks much more than it should. Se added examples.
AdobePDFchrome.pdf is printed with Adobe PDF and the Builtinchrome.pdf is printed with the built-in PDF in chrome.
In both files I have highlighted only the text DC but only the Built-In for chrome shows it correctly?
Data: Chrome Version 68.0.3440.106 (Officiell version) (64 bit)

Thank you for sharing this issue with us. We would like to know few more things :
1. Is this issue happening every time you highlight a document printed by Adobe PDF?
2. Is it working fine if we highlight any local PDF file?
2. Have you tried updating Acrobat Pro and Chrome to the latest version?
3. Please share the sample pdf files.
We have tried but unable to reproduce it with the latest Chrome(71.0.3578.98) and Acrobat Pro (2019.010.20064).
Refuses to print to pdf. Also states cannot find license, though the adobe apps work fine.2 votes
Acrobat is printing the square of however many copies I ask it to print. So, if I print 2 copies, Acrobat actually prints 4. If I print 4 copies, Acrobat prints 16, etc. I am running it on a Mac mini and my printer is an HP LaserJet Pro 400. I have tried turning off the computer & printer, with no success. It is still doing the same thing.2 votes
