  1. It would be nice to just be able to select to print only your comments and to be able to select to print only text that you have highlighted. This would be helpful when working with large documents.

  3. I imagine if the pdf file was created from another application, and was set to "Fit" this print setting carried over to Adobe. If so, there needs to be a way to reset default print setting from print dialog box to change to "Actual." I don't know if if the original file was set to that or not as I don't have it but please look into this. It's very important issue.

    Thank you,

    Sandy

  4. Crop marks: Make it easier to choose to save version with crop and bleed turn on or off. I frequently have to adjust a print ready file with crops and bleeds not showing and it is time-consuming. Why not have a crop/bleed SHOW or DON'T SHOW function.

  5. Nearly every tool and application I use has the ability to differentiate between Print and Print Preview. In some apps, Print can be referred to Quick Print. Either way, whether Print, or Quick Print, the idea is to print the object without going through the full Print dialogue, it basically prints the object using the last-used parameters.

Print Preview on the other hand, provides a full menu of choices and is the full printing dialogue.

I no longer have Acrobat Pro installed on any working machines, so I can't confirm this, but I thought Pro had this time-saving capability.

    So…

  6. When printing a portfolio, the document print in the order they are named. Could you create an option for the portfolio to print in the order the files are in the portfolio? We use Adobe Acrobat for all our bulk printing tasks, and we have to rename the files to make sure they print in order.

  7. 2) Steps to reproduce the problem:

Being logged into the business account of OfficeDepot.com for the company I work for, and needing to create a PDF of a shopping list of one of my coworkers I will start by:

    a) Either right clicking on the web page or clicking on the 3 vertical dots in the top right corner of the Chrome web browser.
    b) I then locate and click on the "print" option.
    c) When the print window comes up, I change it from a physical printer to Adobe PDF to "print" (create) a PDF of the web page…

  8. Compare Files shows a very nice, side-by-side, comparison with markups showing where the changes are at. I would like to print exactly what I'm seeing there (page content and markups) but when I try to print it wants to print a summary page as page 1, and/or, a very busy looking page with labels on the side pointing to changes within the page. I could print the screen, but that's not ideal.

Also, it would be nice to automatically compare pages by page label. For example, I have a 200 page document, and somebody provides me with an 8 page…

Open a file in a Mac OS application.
Click the PDF button and choose Save As Adobe PDF.
Choose the Adobe PDF Settings and click Continue.
Type a name for your file, and click Save.

  10. Create a document in Word, Excel, or Outlook with Calibri font and try to print to PDF. You will get the attached error message and no PDF will be created.

  11. I hate the new Adobe program. I cannot print my documents anymore that I save or download. i can no longer print a copy of my bank statement like i used to after balancing it on Quicken. I don’t know why or what you changed, but unless i pay more to Adobe, I am limited to how i use my new laptop. I cannot print tax documents unless i use my phone. It’s ridiculous! I hate the new program and i feel like a ******* to your program, continually having to pay more and more for basic use.

  12. It's nothing huge, but when you finish sending the print job to the printer with the Save Ink/Toner setting, a prompt pops up and says, "saved upto 15%" instead of Up to 15%. The words are just squished together. I forgot to take a screenshot though.

  13. I run an ecommerce business and when fulfilling orders, label and packing slip pdfs are generated for orders. When i print labels, I have to manually select my label printer, then switch back manually to print packing slips on the laser printer. It would be an amazing feature if Acrobat Pro could analyze a document and if it had a bar code, for example, it would know it was a label and pre-select the label printer. Then switch back to default. It's shocking to me that no one seems to have thought of this feature. I wish I had back…

  14. When generating a PDF from InDesign at 5.5" wide by 8.5" tall, the PDF comes out as expected with no borders. I can even tweak the PDF settings to display 2UP in the window just like I want it to print.

From Acrobat, taking that borderless PDF and selecting the Acobat PDF printer installed in Windows, the second you select Multiple pages in the printer settings window, Acrobat adds a margin around each page. Even when selecting letter, custom letter, custom 5.5x8.5.

If I wanted margins on my multi-page PDF output I would have built them into my document. There…

  16. All of a sudden with the new update my printer doesn't recognize my documents that I printed just days ago correctly. Nor will it double sided print any longer. I went back to the previous version of adobe and it will now print the document completely on a sheet of paper without cutting off half of it, however it seems to have lost the ability to double side print.

  17. Adobe Acrobat Pro Continuous Release Version 2023.006.20360 on iMac running macOS Sonoma 14.0 will not print any PDFs. Error message is "There were no pages selected to print." User forum reports date back to 2015-2016 and don't work for me. This is a critical issue as I rely heavily on printed PDFs for many of my final products. Could it be compatitibility with Sonoma 14.0? Thank you.

  19. We are still working through this after Xfinity made us upgrade equipment--we ended up getting our own modem that does not have built-in Wi-Fi so that our old network with our Wi-Fi router would work again. Now the printer interface is a problem only from my desktop--not the others on the network. The new Adobe was offered at the same time, so I switched to that, but then just switched back and it has not resolved the problem. I do not see the old print options interface that I used to have (not on the new Adobe nor the old…

  20. Print pages to PDF disables features. Once you print pages to PDF you can no longer rearrange the open doc tabs at the top. If you want to pull one into it's own window you must close and reopen the program.
