  1. The new version is worse! Quick Printing out of Outlook, is Slower than snail mail. It freezes up, will not print, will not find files with any color headings in them. Does not find files with headers. It's messing up my morning routine. I have to print a minimum of 50 pdf's from emails everyday. And your new version Cannot handle it.
    fix it.

  3. It would be nice to just be able to select to print only your comments and to be able to select to print only text that you have highlighted. This would be helpful when working with large documents.

  4. Printing only 50 page restriction is impacting our Disclosure team as their documents are sometimes 350 pages. So please consider increasing it.

  5. I imagine if the pdf file was created from another application, and was set to "Fit" this print setting carried over to Adobe. If so, there needs to be a way to reset default print setting from print dialog box to change to "Actual." I don't know if if the original file was set to that or not as I don't have it but please look into this. It's very important issue.

    Thank you,

    Sandy

  6. Crop marks: Make it easier to choose to save version with crop and bleed turn on or off. I frequently have to adjust a print ready file with crops and bleeds not showing and it is time-consuming. Why not have a crop/bleed SHOW or DON'T SHOW function.

  7. Nearly every tool and application I use has the ability to differentiate between Print and Print Preview. In some apps, Print can be referred to Quick Print. Either way, whether Print, or Quick Print, the idea is to print the object without going through the full Print dialogue, it basically prints the object using the last-used parameters.

Print Preview on the other hand, provides a full menu of choices and is the full printing dialogue.

I no longer have Acrobat Pro installed on any working machines, so I can't confirm this, but I thought Pro had this time-saving capability.

    So…

  8. When printing a portfolio, the document print in the order they are named. Could you create an option for the portfolio to print in the order the files are in the portfolio? We use Adobe Acrobat for all our bulk printing tasks, and we have to rename the files to make sure they print in order.

  9. 2) Steps to reproduce the problem:

Being logged into the business account of OfficeDepot.com for the company I work for, and needing to create a PDF of a shopping list of one of my coworkers I will start by:

    a) Either right clicking on the web page or clicking on the 3 vertical dots in the top right corner of the Chrome web browser.
    b) I then locate and click on the "print" option.
    c) When the print window comes up, I change it from a physical printer to Adobe PDF to "print" (create) a PDF of the web page…

  10. Cannot print single pages when in comparison mode; only prints the summary page. It would be helpful to print single pages so I have a record of what still needs to be fixed in my document, since you cannot save the newer doc version as a separate document with notes intact. At least I would have a hardcopy to refer to.

  11. Compare Files shows a very nice, side-by-side, comparison with markups showing where the changes are at. I would like to print exactly what I'm seeing there (page content and markups) but when I try to print it wants to print a summary page as page 1, and/or, a very busy looking page with labels on the side pointing to changes within the page. I could print the screen, but that's not ideal.

Also, it would be nice to automatically compare pages by page label. For example, I have a 200 page document, and somebody provides me with an 8 page…

Open a file in a Mac OS application.
Click the PDF button and choose Save As Adobe PDF.
Choose the Adobe PDF Settings and click Continue.
Type a name for your file, and click Save.

  13. Create a document in Word, Excel, or Outlook with Calibri font and try to print to PDF. You will get the attached error message and no PDF will be created.

  14. According to the documentation provided by Adobe and Brother the printer should be able to switch trays and print the image on the correct size paper. The tray switching works but despite numerous hours on the phone with Apple and Brother the document prints as if it's on letter when it should be on legal. I've followed the directions provided by Adobe but the documents do not print correctly,

    Hi,

Are you facing this issue with the current version of Acrobat?

    Thanks
    Ritesh

  15. Not sure why a paid subscription version of acrobat performs at a lower level than a free microsoft pdf printer. Acrobat needs to be able to understand and read custom fonts added to the windows font directory. If users had to custom locate fonts for every piece of sofware that uses them, work would never get done. Seriously, this is a fail.

  16. Printing some forms and documents from Acrobat Pro works while others don't. The application opens the printer (HP M454dw with the latest firmware), but then never prints and never generates an error message.
However, printing the same document that fails to print in Acrobat Pro works in the free version of Acrobat Reader.
It also works with Apple's Preview app. Only the Pro version of Acrobat seems to experience a problem

  17. Acrobat Pro no longer recognizes changes to the paper size made in the HP Universal Printing PCL 6 drivers.

When I change the paper size in the Printer Properties dialog for the PCL 6 printer, Acrobat's print dialog no longer recognizes the new paper size and no longer changes the preview to indicate the new size. This is reproducible 100% of the time.

I had been using an older PCL 6 driver (7.0.0.24832) for years, and about four months ago an update to Acrobat caused this behavior to start. Every Acrobat version since has had the same issue. I am…
