  1. The NEW Acrobat DC is too efficient. When it sees a signature, it tries to convert it to text with spurious results. Old Acrobat Pro would leave signatures as they are and not convert them to text. The move to Acrobat DC has been a backward step.

  2. I open "scans" in acrobat reader and it prompts me to "sign in" but clicking does nothing. I have to close acrobat reader all the way and when I re-open and select "scans" all my scans are there....

  3. Get rid of that annoying "This is the background image for an Adobe Acrobat Capture page with image plus hidden text" box that appears when I'm trying to read text !

  4. I believe previous versions of Adobe Acrobat had a "delete blank pages" options in the tools section that I used when scanning with Adobe. I cannot find this option in the new version. It was a very useful tool, and I would like it back. Using "extract" is not the same and not nearly as convenient, especially in a long document.

  5. Acrobat DC, Windows 10, 16 GB RAM, relatively fast processor.

    (1) I frequently must OCR documents of 2,000 pages or more. With Acrobat for Mac (which I used from 2012 to 2018), I could start the OCR process, go away for an hour or two or three, and it would be finished with the entire document when I returned. With Acrobat DC for Windows, if I try to OCR more than about 150 pages at a time, Acrobat will crash. Not immediately, but after it's run for 10 minutes or so. All progress will be lost. I will have to…

  7. You people are living in India, utilizing its resources, and hiring its people, and making a huge profit out of it, and still you do not support even a single Indian language. We Indians really need to do something about it.

    1. Open Acrobat Pro DC on macOS 10.14.1
    2. Scan a document
    3. Select "Save" command
    4. Select folder
    5. Switch to Finder

Result: Acrobat is no longer running. Scanned file lost. No crash report dialog is initiated.

    Build: 19.10.20064.311007
    AGM: 4.30.83
    CoolType: 5.14.5
    JP2K: 1.2.2.42216

The system log shows a bunch of AdobeAcrobat errors: "UNIX error exception: 17" but the app spews so many messages into the log that it's hard to determine which are relevant and where the problem actually starts.

  9. Hi,

When including Enhance Scan in an Action Wizard and running it against a folder with Multiple files in it, repeatedly prompt and ask for the next file... I don't want to see that prompt, like when I am OCRing I can uncheck the Prompt check box...

  11. We have adobe XII and windows 10. Adobe crashes when switching from black and white to color. It also crashes going from letter to legal. I have attached a link to the dmp file for your review.

  13. When working with a scan set to be broken into smaller files, provide a key combination (like CTRL-Alt) to automatically remove pages from the scan set after a new file has been created from a selection using drag-n-drop.

  16. Through the several different iterations of Acrobat Pro DC the Enhance Deskew tool has never generated professionally straight and page-aligned results. So always have to revert to Acrobat X Pro Text Recognition Tool that consistently generates beautifully straight and page-aligned results. If the old program can do the job then why can't the new one? Very Frustrating.

  17. I am a theatre artist, an actor. I am sometimes sent imperfect scans of scripts for readings. I would like to deskew lines of text, in order to highlight them as seen in the attached screenshot. I am aware that OCR will deskew "pages" specifically, so they line up well. But in my work, I will occasionally be sent pages that aren't scanned as well as I'd hope. I cannot offend people by asking that they rescan the material, so I have to make the corrections on my end. It is difficult to highlight many lines in a large role,…

  18. I would love the ability to rename my scanned documents while viewing them in Preview Pane in my Explorer folders. I currently need to preview them, remember detailed information, close that view, then rename the document -- hoping I remembered my information correctly. It would save a TON of time and make us more efficient. Thanks!

  19. Adobe consistently crashes when performing redactions on large documents saying that there was an error processing the page and that the document could not be saved. No amount of applying or saving as I go prevents this problem, and I have lost hours of work on this.
