Bug: OCR Correct Recognized Text changes "•" to "€" upon save
There is an issue with the "Review recognized text" feature. It fails to properly update the OCR text when a correction is made. It erroneously replaces the special character "•" with "€" upon clicking Accept. So for example, the slogan "Cleaner Air • Safer Roads" will be saved incorrectly as "Cleaner Air € Safer Roads". I'll happily provide the example document via email if requested.
I'm running MacOS MacOS Big Sur Version 11.0 Beta (20A5384c) and Acrobat Pro DC Version 2020.012.20048

Please add Adobe Scan to Surface Pro (X)
Dear Adobe team, please add adobe scan to Microsoft Surface Pro (X).
At the moment, in order to use Adobe scan, you need to use your cell phone and then upload the scan to the cloud.
On the one hand this is very time consuming, on the other hand it requires an active internet connection, which cannot always be guaranteed, especially when you are not at home.
With an integration of Adobe Scan on Surface Pro (X), you could make very fast professional scans offline.
I know that you have added Adobe Scan to the iPad, which could be compared…

Bug - difficulty with integration of Brother Printer/Scanner interface with Acrobat for scanning.
Using iMac running Catalina OS, latest update and Brother MFCL3770CDW. When I create a document from scanner in Acrobat, the scan command triggers the Mac scanner interface. While black & white scanning works fine, there is a consistent error message when attempting to scan in color. The message is that the color profile chosen is not supported. Since I cannot choose the color profile, I am not sure what to do about this. It is a major headache.

Adobe Acrobat PRO 2017 cannot use Epson DS-520 Scanner
OSX Catalina with Acrobat PRO 2017, and networked scanner Epson
DS-520. I have installed the latest drivers and software for both
the Adobe software and the Scanner. When I start Acrobat and select
"Create PDF from Scanner", I get a pop up window with a choice of
scanners. I then select the EPSON DS-520 from the list and click
on SCAN. The SCAN button is then grey'ed out for a moment and
then its back to its original (blue) color.Acrobat Pro just sits there doing nothing, no Epson Software appears
and Acrobat Pro shows no progress indicator. If I…1 vote -

Provide a way to give hints to OCR
I'm trying to OCR photos of text on a PC screen. I'd think OCR would do a much better job if I could give it hints, such as:
the text to recognize is in a monospaced font (now, it tries to use a font with variable character widths, frequently leading to words with spaces in the middle of them)
the text to recognize has regular line spacing
Also, it would do much better if I could tell it:
- proceed line by line; don't jump all over the place. OCR sometime reorders the content of tables in strange ways.
Attached is…

Stuck Optimizing Page 1
Scanning multiple pages with a Canon MX922 all-in-1, Windows 10 on a Dell Inspiron laptop. First page scans, additional pages feed through the ADF but only page one appears on screen frozen showing "Optimizing..." Acrobat DC automatically updated on 5/15/2020, as did Windows 10. Now can only scan one page at a time. Appears to be an issue with multiple users.

Printing/scanning issues after update 2020.009.20063
I am working at an MSP currently. Two separate customers are experiencing issues with printing/scanning after update 2020.009.20063 on Reader and Acrobat DC.
If you try to scan a document that is multiple pages it will freeze after the first page.
We attempted repairs and reinstalls but were unsuccessful with both.
Workstations are running W10.
Thank you.

Ability to select how many pages OCR in Action Wizard
Users should be able to select how many pages are scanned for recognizable text in Action Wizard or when OCRing multiple documents.
Performing OCR and recognizing text on a single document gives the user the option to select how many pages they want to OCR. Action Wizard and performing OCR on multiple documents removes the ability to select how many pages are scanned. I have several thousand documents that I'm only interested in performing OCR on the first page.
How is this not a thing?
