certificate issue when attempting to sign document
When user attempts to sign a pdf document, a box usually populates requesting id verification, but instead a black screen engulfs the entire screen and remains there for some time. Not able to sign document with certificates. An urgent response is greatly appreciated!

I can delete digital signature from a protected document.
Good day!
I have signed some test pdf document with a digital signature.
As you can see on a picture the document is totally protected from any modification.
Now I go to a signature panel and rightclick my signature.
There is a Clear Signature option, which do what it says - deletes my signature and make document editable again.
I understand the concept of signature. It is not a method to protect your data, it only can guarantee that content was not altered.
But never the less:
Adobe states in its documentation that you need a private key to unsign…

Certum Digital Identification CA SHA2
Adobe AATL contains the certificate of Certum Digital Identification CA SHA2 (Serial: 66 DA EF 03 DB 84 61 91 6B 25 BA 83 FB 17 4E 13)
However, due to an error in the policy constraint of the CA certificate, all certificates issued by this certificate is not valid.
The current Certificate policies contain: 1.2.616.1.113527.2.5.1.6.11
However, all end entity certificates contain: (either) 1.2.616.1.113527.2.5.1.6.11 | 1.2.616.1.113527.2.5.1.6.12 1.2.616.1.113527.2.5.1.6.13 | 1.2.616.1.113527.2.5.1.6.14The three missed policy constraint created the error of
"Invalid Policy Constraint"This error was initially reported by myself on May 24th, 2018 at Twitter direct message.

Bug: Account name not updated with Adobe Account
I have a CC account with my university.
I have a preferred name which is the only name displayed on my Adobe account (online and in all CC Applications like PS, AI, etc.).
But on Adobe DC, my former name is displayed somehow.
Despite the name not appearing on any of my actual Adobe account information.1 voteHello,
When you say Adobe DC, I believe you mean Acrobat Pro DC?
Try the following steps and let us know if that helps:
1. Launch Acrobat.
2. Click on your name at the top right corner. And click on Sign-out.
3. Close Acrobat and re-launch, it should ask for re-login. Enter your Adobe-ID and check.Let us know if that helps.

Shortcut for encrypting
We are encrypting documents all the time.
It would be amazing if there was a keyboard shortcut to encrypt a document (with password option).
Fingerprint log in option is more used nowadays, May I open all my files with my fingerprint? It can be an integration between Adobe and Windows Hello. I could add several passwords for all the files but the unique - and swiftest - password could be my fingerprint.

Ink signature without digital ID
In Adobe XI we were able to sign things without creating an account and a digital ID. It just brought up a box that could be drawn in, aka the Ink Signature.
Adobe DC needs a way to use the Ink Signature without creating an account every time. Our workflow demands that hundreds of people sign documents, and every person who comes in should not have to create an account to sign a simple form.

DMARC Alignment
Send & Track emails do not have aligned RFC5321.MailFrom and RFC5322.From fields, thus fail DMARC checking as per acrobat.com policy of "p=reject", which instructs receiving MTAs to reject or bounce misaligned messages.
Proof attached.
Please either:
A) allow users to change the RFC5322.From field in the product UI
B) or, create a separate subdomain for Send & Track messages with DMARC policy of "p=none"This will ensure better deliverability.

Easily turn off the ability to upload file(s) to Adobe cloud services…
The automatic uploading, translating and downloading of PDF files in Adobe Acrobat DC from the user’s machine to Adobe’s cloud service needs to be turned off. On first use, a pop-up needs to ask the user if they would like this feature, and to use it moving forward if they’d like. Using the Acrobat Customization Wizard DC to turn this feature off is too time consuming and confusing. The idea that Adobe thinks the user is ok with uploading, translating and downloading sensitive PDF files from their machine to the Adobe cloud is dangerous to any company’s security.

Digital Certificates for Mobile Devices
Usually when something needs to be digitally signed or validated with a certificate, it's because it is upper management. In my experience, upper management tend to be on the move a lot more and since certificates are only available to their computer, it would be handy if they could also digitally sign from their phone. This is also very useful when they're on vacation too.

Security - Add Ability to Prevent Attaching as Email
We have proprietary software that serves up PDF files stored in a location that end-users do not have access to. These documents can contain PHI and PII. We want to prevent the ability for users to send copies the document outside of our system. We have been able to lock down every aspect except for attaching to an email. There is a toolbar and menu option for this feature.
For security reasons I would like the ability to disable the attach as email feature the same way that I can disable WebMail.

Corrupt registry key iProtectedView
In our company we are using Adobe Acrobat Reader DC Version 2018.009.20044. We want to set the iProtectedView registry setting to increase security of our system, however, we found out that the value name has a trailing whitespace: "iProtectedView ". Is this an Acrobat DC issue, that the value name was misspelled? Does it exist also without the whitespace in other versions?

Ability hilite, underline or otherwise markup a secured document.
Product manuals are often secured and one can print but not comment, hi-lite or otherwise mark up important info would be helpful. Such "edits" could be a different layer and not integral to the original document. Even disclaimer text or ownership of such edits could be water-marked into the file.

BUG: "Enable Protected Mode At Startup" disables Hardware Rendering
I would like to know why Hardware Rendering has been disabled when the option "Enable Protected Mode At Startup" is checked. Why is hardware rendering a security issue?
To me this is a serious bug. You have crippled Adobe Acrobat for 3D delivery by forcing this on users.
If you find a PDF file that has ANY javascript in it are you not only disabling the javascript but also disabling hardware rendering?
I can kind of understand disabling javascript, although all that functionality should be able to be sandboxed. You, Adobe Developers, have full control over all the methods exposed…

Write temp/cache data to programfiles directory
Multiple components of the Acrobat suite are writing to various sub-directories of Program Files (Adobe, Common Files\Adobe) as a user-mode process. In some cases, this is accommodated by modification to the default ACL model of the directories to allow the process to perform these writes, or it is relying on the UAC VirtualStore to re-direct the writes to a per-user location.
This is not the security model of Windows and these types of writes should either be going to the user's profile or \programdata\ when the permissions model supports this behavior natively. Having user-mode processes write to Program Files causes…

Possibility of adding a custom signature in a future release?
Hello- (Feature request) May I suggest the ability to add a custom email contact etc. signature? (The address & contact one, not the legal or digital one). Our user was trying to send PDFs, and while it opens her mail (Gmail) the signature part doesn't get added on. From what I gather, it is because the programming interface and user interface can't talk to each other, they are seperate streams, maybe? (see link to similar, below)
Anyway, if they can't communicate, maybe add the possibility of a custom email address / contact one, in a future release?
The closest I…
