Quick tool bar
New floating quick toolbar to be stacked in the new acrobat experience
the new floating bar covers the document areas and it is very annoying. User should be given the option to be able to stack the bar up down right or left.2 votes -
"Always show document page size" is not working
I have the preference checked on for "Always show document page size" in the Preferences > Page Display tab in Acrobat Version 2023.006.20320 on MacOS Monterey but I no longer see the page size at the bottom left. Is it displayed somewhere new? Is this a bug?
Thanks and please fix this quickly.

New UI
I use Acrobat on both Windows PC and Mac (latest Windows 11 and Macos14 sonoma). I downloaded Acrobat from Creative Cloud and kept it updated all the time. A few months ago i found the Acrobat UI was changed on my Mac and when i finally got used to the new UI, recently it just changed back to the old version again by itself and i no longer saw the UI switch button. It's really annoying. And one interesting thing is, the Acrobat UI on my Windows PC never changed even though i used the same account in Creative Cloud. …

"Enable Scrolling" DEFAULT On/Off Setting in Preferences -> Page Display
On the new Acrobat, there is no setting to change the default for this. It defaults to ON at all times. I am a legal professional, and this would be a big improvement for me. Users who regularly navigate long PDFs of hundreds of pages or more would benefit from having this setting OFF when opening documents, instead of having to disable it every time. As a side note, to my mind, a selection available from the current settings SHOULD achieve this, but currently does not - see attached. There is currently no difference that I can discern between Single…

Acrobat zoom controls
Adobe Acrobat update 23.6.20320.0. When a PDF is open and you zoom in, the scroll bars disappear. Makes navigating PDFs really painful.

Toolbar in the way
Please dock the toolbar to the side at all times. I do like the new toolbar, but it blocks text on the PDFs, meaning I have to take the time to pan and zoom and adjust just to read what it is blocking, it's just unnecessary. Just have it docked always. Also, I will say I'm not the biggest fan of how the thumbnails are shown, but that's a different and much less important issue. The new "floating" toolbar (that you cannot move) obstructs the documents and should just be docked to the side so you can see an unobstructed…

vertical scroll bars disappeared with mac version 23.6.20320.0
As of version (mac) 23.6.20320.0, the vertical scroll bars were removed, as confirmed by your support team.
Why oh why? This breaks workflows. Please add them back, or minimally add a preference to enable them.
(Note that they sometimes appear temporarily, but then disappear.)

Please add the ability to create custom keyboard shortcuts or assign default hotkeys to items on the toolbar
Hello:
I would really appreciate if the Adobe team would consider implementing either the ability to allow custom keyboard shortcuts or assign default keyboard shortcuts (i.e., hotkeys) to shortcuts on the toolbar.
If the second option to map hotkeys to toolbar shortcuts is implemented, I would really appreciate if by pressing the Alt key I could bring up a display of all shortcuts available. For example, please see the Microsoft Word image: if I press the Alt key, it displays all available keyboard shortcuts.
The reason for my request is that I have the "Take snapshot" option added to the…

Text search fails on the first try; works on the 2nd
I could vote for several of the bugs, but none that I saw reference the work-around.
The first basic (Control-F) text-search in a given session will fail to find hits. However, the 2nd and subsequent attempts will find hits.
Accordingly, my current workflow is to treat the first text-search attempt as a "throw-away" - I "escape" from that dialog, invoke it again... and then the search works.
It's been this way for years. It's a sad experience for users who try a single search, fail, and don't understand the workaround.

Scrap the new interface!
Worst interface change ever! I am in the print graphics industry and I rely heavily on the ability to view my PDF page sizes. Removing the page scaling size from the toolbar along with a place to shortcut my most used tools was a slap in the face to your core user base.
Leave those features alone!

new viewer tools
The new viewer tools menu is terrible design. I dont want a 4 in bar on my left side constantly when i want to use the stamp function for 100's of documents. There is an almost empty top bar to put tools of your choice up there. Being able to just lock the icon for the tool you want to use to your top bar should be easy right? While having it to search for tools and being able to read everything is fine but, who organized the menu? There is a general "priority" to common used to less common…

Persist display configuration
When I view a document in Acrobat Reader, I always want a standard default, which is single page view, fill to height, disable scrolling. The trouble is, the application never remembers this; every time I open a document I have to repeat the same sequence of control interactions to set it up the way I want. This is an unproductive waste of my time which could be mitigated by either automatically remembering my display configuration or giving me a control by which I can manually tell the application to remember my configuration as a default.

Toolbar obscures document
The new toolbar that hovers on top of the document obscures the reading area on certain devices (like laptops with smaller screens and netbooks) especially when the comments pane is open. It's bizarre to me that Adobe didn't account for different use cases before implementing something like this. It's like whoever made this change viewed their 4k monitor at 100% without ever zooming in and said, "Yeah, this is good. No reason to view this in any other way."
Possible solutions.
Ditch the floating toolbar altogether. It seems pointless to be able to move the toolbar to a different area…
