Very confuse about the new acrobat
I almost got a heart attack. I was working on a pdf, then I opened a new document and the Acrobat interface was completely different.
I use Acrobat every day and the new interface is too different from the old one. Tools are difficult to find because they have been placed somewhere else.
I definitely don't have time to learn how to use a new software. I didn't not appreciate to be face to this suddent change without any warning.
It would be better to give user the option to customize the left and right pannels. If it's already possible,…

Fields panel
Please make the Prepare Forms/Fields panel able to increase size side to side. I use long names for the fields and need to see them in whole. I use a wide monitor and don't need to see as much pasteboard when I work fill fields. The Comments panel can stretch side to side and I could really use that ability with the Fields panel.

I tire of having to re learn how to do things that were one key stroke or mouse click operations but now are 2 hand tasks or impossible to do. Why is it so important to change look and feel to "be like" google or microsoft or apple?

the zoom in/out % box is so annoying
(Windows users) after using Ctrl + mouse scroll wheel to zoom in and out, the % box appears at the bottom right for a while, that makes me cannot use the space bar to scroll the screen immediately. It needs to wait for a while for the box to disappear. This is stupid and very bad user experience, pls fix it.

The new user interface isn't better than the existing one. I don't see a reason to combine the Select and Pan into one. Moving them to the side is counter intuitive. This is the desktop version where the large majority of programs have menu items across the top. Moving them to the side seems like a phone consideration.

User Interface and Navigation Layout is terrible
I HATE the new layout of the Acrobat PRO, it is the most frustrating layout. I have been using Acrobat for YEARS and everytime there is an update it gets worse and worse. There is nothing intuitive about the layout of the tools or that you have icons with no words to express what they stand for. I liked having the menu bar across the top. Please at least give us an option of how to go back to the old style! My workflow is constantly interrupted to have to figure things out!

Performance
Performance
Please improve performance overall on any platform. Wondershare PDFelement or Readdle PDFexpert are more or less overall much faster and work much more smoothly than your Adobe Acrobat DC Pro.
You have the more feature-rich product, but it is much slower against their tools.
Many thanks in advance.

Bug Report: New Acrobat UI does not allow "Hide Toolbars" setting in Windows
The new Acrobat UI does not follow the "Hide Toolbars" setting from "Document Properties" > "Initial View".
Acrobat Version: 2023.003.20269
Platform: Windows 11 22H2Steps to reproduce:
1. Open a PDF and then open the Document Properties dialog. Click on the "Initial View" tab, check the "Hide tool bars" option under "User Interface Options".
2. Save the PDF and then close it. With Acrobat using the new UI model, open the PDF a second time, the "All Tools" side bar is displayed. Expected behaviour: the All Tools toolbar should not be shown as per the User Interface Option settings.

What happened to the view menu?
After the latest update, the View menu has disappeared from my Acrobat, This is a feature I used almost every time I opened Acrobat to switch between one and two-page view. Now I can't find it. I'm also having problems finding other freqently used tools. The cloud has some convenient features, but automatic updates that hide frequently used tools are super frustrating. I miss the old days when I could just pay for software, own it, and update it when I wanted to.

rotation
Having to sign up for a 7-day trial and being charged thereafter for having to ROTATE the page...is outstandingly unreasonable.

New Simplified Appearance
Go back to the old layout appearance as this new one sucks. You have taken what once just lived in the old file menu bar, hen taken it and shifted repeatable functionalities to the right hand side bar in the previous "new layout", but this "new simplified" layout takes that and now gives you two side bars and almost no functional "settings" adjustments you can make all from one place. You have decentralized all the settings, options, and tools thus making it look more sparse but in actuality making it less simplified.
Do better.
Don't change the appearance and functionalities…

The new version stinks!
I'd like to revert to the previous version of Acrobat - the new version is NOT better - more confusing!

Why the Changes to Page Layouts
Why do companies feel the need to constantly "improve" on the lay-out and appearance of an applicaiton that works great? I've noticed that many companies are changing the lay-out, appearance or style of their products. Adobe Reader recently underwent a change. Much of the same products are there, just moved to different locations on the page, making for 1) another learning curve 2) frustration as to why things changed. Don't "fix" what wasn't broken.

No longer can see full file name without hovering
The new UI doesn't show the full file name anywhere without having to hover over the tab even though there seems to be lots of available space.

Bug: Opening a document when using Apple Spaces does not work correctly
Steps to reproduce:
- Be on an Apple Mac with one monitor (I'm currently on macOS 13.4.1c)
- Create two Apple Spaces
- In Space A, open PDF #1
- In Space B, open PDF #2
Expected result: After step 3 Acrobat creates a new window in Space A that displays PDF #1, and after step 4 Acrobat creates a new window in Space B that displays PDF #2.
Actual result: After step 4 Acrobat loads PDF #2 into the window in Space A that currently displays PDF #1 (bug #1), and then it tries and fails to switch to that Space, instead switching…

unresponsive cursor
The mouse cursor and some other functions are EXTREMELY SLOW to respond making the application practically unusable. It takes about 10 times longer to do anything because of this.
I have to move my mouse to something and then hover for a couple of seconds before I can make the action I want to make.
This seems like an intended thing as there's no lag, not waiting on processing, nothing like that - the cursor just isn't responsive, almost as if it were a safety feature.... but it is extremely annoying and I can't use this application in the current…

Website Description Not Accurate
I have been advised that if you don't have an Adobe Acrobat license then you cannot log into Adobe Acrobat Pro and have it function as Adobe Reader. You need to use the Adobe Reader product.
The website https://helpx.adobe.com/au/acrobat/kb/acrobat-dc-downloads.html currently suggests that you should be able to log into Adobe Acrobat Pro and have it operate as Adobe Reader.
My suggestion is to update the website so that it is clearer that you must be licensed with Adobe Acrobat in order to use the product and that it you have PCs being access by users who do and don't have…

Ditch the 2023 User Interface in Acrobat
There are so many shortcomings and problems with the new 2023 GUI interface. Here are just a few:
Swapping left and right-hand panels for no reason. This does not improve anything for users. It just forces users to change everything about how they work in Acrobat every workday.
Functions are indicated by random icons. In the 90s, we learned that icons in software and websites don't work across different populations. Users have a difficult time figuring out what the heck they mean. Give text labels.
The left panel is permanently positioned on the screen and obscures part of the document…
