  1. I miss the feature that the Acrobat program window automatically minimized after closing the last opened PDF document. At the moment the Acrobat program window always stays open and hides the desktop.
I know of various keyboard shortcuts like WIN + Space + N or WIN + M, but the Acrobat program window should automatically minimize itself without additional action if the last opened PDF file was closed.
A setting in the Acrobat preferences for this behavior would also be conceivable and desirable.

  2. I have been disappointed with Acrobat Standard DC in touch mode. I could find nothing in your support section that helps me with this. In full screen mode, the highlight tool does not operate. (I can only use it to underline or strike through). Page navigation is tough. I have not found an easy way to get back to regular mode once I am in full screen mode. (I have to close the program and open it again.) It seems to me that given the high cost of the software, Adobe should have developed this feature so that it works…

  3. The Top Toolbars can be turned on and off using F8 and F9, but how do I turn off the pop-up floating toolbar. I don't need two copies of the toolbar on screen

  4. I was just "upgraded" to the new Adobe version. Please restore the Open file button. Dumbest idea ever to remove it and create extra clicks in order to open a file.

  5. For several months, regularly (but especially after using Find), a large rectangular block of the PDF document is blacked-out. I have to frequently refresh (using Ctrl-0 or Ctrl-1) to restore the PDF, but that is only a VERY TEMPORARY NON-FIX. THIS IS SUPER ANNOYING! Please fix it, Adobe!

    I use Acrobat Pro DC (v. 2015.006.30482) on a Windows 7 PC.

  6. When using Acrobat DC and Preview concurrently; performance on DC is by far inferior. Scrolling, rendering, etc. is very slow and is evidenced by high CPU usage.

Upon further inspection, Preview delegates this workload to the GPU and provides a much smoother user experience.

This suggestion is to implement CPU/GPU resource management to improve user experience.

  7. There needs to be UI themes that don't use the same scheme as MS Office.

It is like giving a room a clean look by having the walls, furniture and art be monochrome and close to the same shade. Any designer is going to tell you contrast is important. If everything blends together, it becomes more difficult to see, strains the eyes and thus more difficult to use and rather visually unappealing. It needs contrast between elements to guide the eye, making things more efficient and visually appealing.

Please give us more themes or tap into all the artists that…

  8. Although no adobe products are set as startup items and the Adobe Acrobat Pro DC general settings have the option to show a start screen as OFF... with each newstart of the computer, the Acrobat Start screen opens.... and every time has to be manually closed.

This is a bug (although probably intended by Adobe) and needs to be fixed to remove this major annoyance.

The effect is that Adobe is trying to be an annoying microsoft application by making its own rules to decide what I want... but in reality is frustrating.

  10. Hello,

If there could be an option to disable this from showing after saving, that would be very nice.

    Thank you.

  11. Acrobat Pro used to be seamless, easy to use and efficiently laid out. Now it looks like some child's puzzle game where you have to access numerous screens to accomplish what you used to be able to do from ONE PLACE.
Maddening, dumb redesign that apparently was done for what? Tablet use? Why ruin something many of us use in professional settings so students and casual users can play around with their school prom flyer on mom's ipad?
It is ugly and not at all intuitive. Clearly the project team didn't have anyone with institutional knowledge involved.

    1. Viewing pdfs from task bar flickering

    2. After minimizing the opened pdfs, I try to go to the task bar to view the 4 or more pdfs that I have running. It wont view all of them (flickers the images) so I cant select the one to open up when I hover over the icon in the task bar until after several tries?

    3. Windows edition: Windows 7 Professional, Service Pack 1
Adobe Acrobat Standard DC Version 2019.010.20091

    4. Expected result: Show opened pdfs when hovering over task bar Adobe icon.

  12. A number of people continue to think it's a "bug" rather than a "feature" that the pan tool selects images & text by default in Acrobat DC. And they ought to be right, this is not a desirable feature for a pan tool, vice a select tool. In fact, it's why you have a select tool in the first place: to select images & text.

Pan tools PAN, as allow you to navigate through the document by clicking & dragging. This feature is literally defeated by having it select images and text when you click & drag. As such, it…

  13. Use 'Open' to add an Enfocus PitStop toolset. It appears in the right-side ribbon with the 'Active' icon. Click on this icon => it changes into a black square.
When using 'Add' to add the same toolset, it appears using the 'Inactive' icon, clicking it makes it Active but it is not showing the 'Active' icon.

  14. Drawboard PDF's single page view allows one to swipe through pages (like "flipping" pages in a book). I find this helps with retention as it breaks apart the text, delineated by page breaks. I've tried your single page vertical scrolling view, but I found it to be clunky. A few things that would probably make this better (for the horizontal swipe as well):

    1. Don't have the page "glued" to the screen, but put it on a rubber band -- so, as someone "drags" the page, you can see it react/ shift from the center/ default position. If the user just…

  15. When Internet is accessible Acrobat suspend for a long time at start up. After Acrobat's windows appear all seems Ok, but after 1-2 second Acrobat doesn't respond to mouse and keyboard and Windows say that program doesn't respond. Duration of this state is few minutes. If connection to Internet is unavailable (for example cable is unplugged) no any problem observed at start up and later. This is definitely bug related to unnecessarily access to the Internet which suspend main functionalities of Acrobat. Please fix as soon as possible.

  19. In Full Screen Mode I can only Zoom In or Out with the Mouse Wheel which picks coarse magnification levels. I would like a Keyboard Sequence to be able to Increase or Decrease Magnification by 1% up or down (while maintaing the Full Screen Mode.

I have need to adjust some PDF embedded images to the maximum screen real estate I can get and being able to adjust Magnification Up or Down by 1% each click would be Very Useful.
