  2. Please add additional default zoom percentages for 15" and 17" laptop screens. BACKGROUND: As a college student, I read a lot of academic articles and PDF textbooks. However, I get a little irritated every time that I have to manually type in a zoom percentage of 250% or 270% because the default percentages jump from 200% to 300% (which is TOO much)! I know. It's a menial request. But it would make a HUGE difference for someone in my situation. Thank you!

  3. For Windows PC, please provide a General Preference Option to close/exit the Acrobat Pro DC program when closing the only open tab/document.

We open a document then review, save and close it. The program window remains open thus blocking the desktop and forcing us to exit the program manually. While that sounds like a minor inconvenience or inconsequential, in reality its very frustrating and time consuming. We consider it to be a Quality of Life issue that disrupts workflow processes and would like to see it resolved.

An option to "Minimize window on final document/tab exit and maximize window…

  4. If you're using the darkmode, all the images turning to black and white. It is unpractical if you're reading a paper with some color-coded diagrams in it.
Suggestion: implement an option, do change the behavior of the darkmode.

  5. Microsoft Edge overwrites the default pdf program no matter how many times you change it back. You cannot even delete Edge to get it to stop doing it. Microsoft denied that it is possible for their program to change my default app without my permission when I contacted their tech support. Adobe should sue Microsoft. This is very frustrating, especially when you paid for the program and Microsoft can do this without your permission.

  6. Hi There,

I am not sure if I am posting this under the correct category as there does not seem to be one that matches my issue / suggestion.

I work for a Staffing and Recruiting company as a recruiter. As such, I look at many resumes that people send to me via email. Most of them are in .PDF format. Because I call people and leave messages for them to call me back, I often have multiple resumes open at once in case they call me back to discuss a job opportunity. I have them open to save time…

  7. I build most of my presentation decks in Illustrator and export to PDF for Acrobat. It would be useful to have my cursor act like a red-dot laser pointer for presentations.

Now that so many meetings are remote (Zoom) it would be nice to have more robust presentation features.

PowerPoint has this feature, but I hate PowerPoint.

  8. The uselessness of the chopped up methodology to customize the quick menu is ridiculous. It would be much simpler if you adopted a process similar to that in Excel. Just where the h3ll is the zoom icon hiding.

  10. A few days ago Adobe Acrobat updated, and now the File > Save As dialog box comes up blank. Now I am reduced to just saving the file and then saving it to a another file pathname using Windows Explorer. :-(

    Hi Roland,

Thanks for trying out the latest update and apologies for the inconvenience caused. We are investigating the issue and will release a fix soon.

  12. Move the menu bar to title bar like Photoshop and stop wasting screen space. I always have to press F9 after opening each PDF file because I rarely use menus, and they insist on being there to waste my time and space.

  13. It would be nice if Adobe could just save the file to the current location when we press "ctrl" + "s" it is a bit annoying when you have to select the folder every time want to save a small change. I moved to using edge to open my pdf because it is quick to save and I don't need to select which folder I want to save

  14. I saw this was declined before due to lack of comments or feedback but i think this is good for a second round to try again. When i am revising documents for my projects, only way i can drag and drop is through page thumbnails but sifting through hundreds of pages is quicker when i can access bookmarks and click on the page to bring me to the right page i need to replace or modify. If both of the Bookmark and Page Thumbnails are able to viewed at the same time, it would make it more efficient to work…

  15. An option to delete the original file after splitting it into individual files would save time. Every time I split a PDF, I then have to go and delete the original file. On top of that, if I have split a PDF using 'top level bookmarks' Acrobat asks me if I want to save the file when closing it. So there are 2 steps that could be avoided by setting one option 'delete original file after splitting'.

  16. Each and every time I split a PDF, I must manually set the folder I want the files to save to. I should be able to set the folder path one time and Acrobat will default to that same folder next time I split a PDF. This goes for all the settings whenever splitting a PDF. It would save me time if Acrobat remembered what options I used last when splitting a file. For instance, if I split a file and used the "Use top level bookmarks" option, the next time I go to split a PDF I shouldn't have…

  17. This is a bug report, no a feature request or idea. Asking people to clear cookies & cache is a productivity nightmare. I don't even know if that will work. For whatever reason, Adobe logs me out and won't allow me to log back in. It says my subscription has expired when it hasn't; verified in a support chat. I can do so for the Adobe website, but not the interface that opens PDF's nor the cloud for Adobe. Clearing cache & cookies causes me to have to log back into too many websites I do business with or pleasure…

  19. Allow more customization of toolbar, e.g. remove the "provide Feedback" button, as well as "Notifications" and "Profile Settings". This is not what one uses every day and can go e.g. under the Help menu.

  20. MacOS Acrobat Pro DC: please add ability to specify default save location, or reduce the number of steps required to specify a save location. As of now, every time I want to save a file, I have to go through the following rigmarole:

SAVE --> CHOOSE A DIFFERENT FOLDER --> [SPECIFY TOP LEVEL FOLDER] --> [SPECIFY SUBFOLDER]

I literally need to save my files in the same place, EVERY SINGLE TIME. The folder is the downloads folder. However, that will never ever ever ever be in the initial list of folders I am presented to choose from. The initial list…
