Turn off floating toolbar
The Top Toolbars can be turned on and off using F8 and F9, but how do I turn off the pop-up floating toolbar. I don't need two copies of the toolbar on screen

I hate everything about the acrobat pro DC menus
So far I hate everything about the acrobat pro DC menus and it has been 2 years, I keep hoping for an update backward for the old menu.
Changing the way pdf are managed and adding additional features, is great but why would you change menus commands and locations.
We are all using computers not tablets, and the so called lighter theme sucks.5 votes -

How do I set my preferences so that the floating, transparent, toolbar at the bottom of my page NEVER shows.
5 votesHi,
Thanks for reaching out to us for your concerns.
I would like to let you know that kindly update to latest available version of reader by doing a Help → Check for updates. The Floating HUD toolbar will then be docked automatically into your Top toolbar.

Tab Management
I'm constantly in and out of Acrobat.
I would love to be able to right click and either close all tabs or close all tabs to the right without closing Acrobat. I jump from job to job and each has its own handful of PDFs to view. When I'm done with a job, I have to either manually close each tab or close the whole window and select close all tabs. Then immediately after, I have to open more and wait for Acrobat to start up again.5 votes -
Browser PDF Hyperlinks with the ability to choose an option to open the link in a new browser window.
When you open a PDF in a browser, and there are hyperlinks in that PDF, when you click on a hyperlinks, it opens in the same window. Is there a way to force it to open a new window? Is there an option or button that one can click that will allow this to happen?

Dark Theme / Dark Mode for "viewing" a pdf.
Dear Sir,
Please note that Accessibility Settings for enabling Dark Mode don't always work. They do work but in some cases only. Please see the attached images to understand the issue. It's high time that Acrobat DC should officially support Dark Mode / Dark Theme for viewing a pdf in the same way as the feature is supported on Android version of the software. Dark Mode is partially implemented in the product like the Tools Bar and all but not implemented for viewing a pdf. Please address this issue ASAP. Thank you.4 votes -
Hi - just started working with the new acrobat. Prior working on v.10.1.14. That was very easy to use, clean interface, no million buttons,
was working on v.10.1.14 - it was easy to use, clean interface, didn't take pressing many buttons to do common tasks. current version a pain to use, just like MS Office, you have taken an excellent product and made it clunky and awkward, a real shame

Bug: Reader DC 20.006.20034 Still Holds Lock On Files After Closing File Tabs
Using Windows 10 Home Version 1909 OS Build 18363.657, when I have a PDF file or multiple PDF files open in Reader DC, and when I close the tab of a file and then try to do something with that file in Windows Explorer, such as rename or delete or move or change it any way, I cannot do so because Windows 10 thinks there is still a lock on the file and throws a pop-up dialog that says to "Close the file and try again." The only way I can get the lock released is by closing Reader DC…

"night mode" "acrobat reader"
Please add a "night mode" option in acrobat reader and acrobat pro for Mac OS, similar to the "night mode" in acrobat reader iOS app.
The workaround to change text and background colours in the accessibility preferences does not work for scanned documents.

drag and drop files in document cloud.
seriously, this is such a basic feature that's available on any type of file organizer these days.
whenever want to move a pdf into another file in my document cloud I have to:
1) mark said file,
2) then click move.
3) pick the file to move my pdf into.
4) then press ok...anywhere else this can be achieved in two steps, drag the pdf to the the destination file, and let go!
while I'm at it, the document cloud seems so unintuitive. Regarding saving pdfs onto the cloud, it seems like that only way for me to save…

Admin Console Enhancement - Admin Permissions
Giving administrators full system access just to be able to delete a user is not practical. if an admin user is able to create a user, assign products and remove products for the user then logically they should also be able to delete the user from the console if the user is terminated, to keep the management console clean otherwise you will end up with hundreds of terminated users with no products assigned, this does not seem logical.

Add a button or menu option to set Adobe Acrobat to reopen all documents opened in a previous session.
Add a button or menu option to set Adobe Acrobat to reopen all documents opened in a previous session.
4 votesHi,
If your Previous session had any PDF’s launched when it was last Closed, then there is a Menu item Under File→ Reopen PDFs from Last Session which will open the pdfs that were launched in your previous session before closing.
Attaching a snapshot to help you with.
Also there is a Preference unde Edit→Preferences→General which ould automatically open the PDFs from the last sesssion as you Open the Acrobat / Reader application. Here is more info on that : https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/using/whats-new.html#PreferencetoreopenPDFsfromthelastAcrobatsession
Hope this resolves your concern ?

Customize "Save as" locations
When I go to Save As PDF, I would like to be able to add my own frequently-used folders, even if they were not used recently. Maybe add them on the left side of the window? I save 99% of my PDF's to sub-folders in one of two master folders, so adding shortcuts to the two master folders on the Save As screen would be helpful.

new measure tool is useless
I want my old desktop downloaded 2011 version back with all of the functions intact. Paying an annual subscription for less functions and usability is garbage. We are a construction company that gets hundreds of project drawings in pdf format from owners and contractors. The new measure tool is one of my biggest complaints about the updated software. The measure tool basically has 1 function and it never works properly. If you do not have an original CAD or DWG file and the software to support it you cannot measure anything properly. I can no longer check or measure angles…

Fullscreen misbehaving, Mac
I'm not sure if this is an issue with Mac (OS X El Capitan, 10.11.6) or Acrobat (Adobe Acrobat Pro DC, 2018.009.20044), but if i put Adobe Acrobat Pro is in fullscreen mode it will occasionally pop out of it and appear in the current view. I have not been able to recreate the issue in an accurate way, but I've mostly noticed it whilst chrome is loading pages in a new tab, but it's also happened with other programs like the finder. If I'm viewing another program in fullscreen mode when it happens Acrobat appears infront, blocking my view.…
