  2. Using 64-bit Acrobat since version 22.003.20282, in any PDF document when opening Document Properties, then changing to the Description tab and to Security tab the text is overlapping.

We have found that if you disable Sandbox Protections under Prefereneces - Security (Enhanced) - Uncheck Enable Protected Mode at startup it resolved the issue. We plan on opening a ticket with Adobe.

You can also turn it off via the regitry
    [HKEYCURRENTUSER\Software\Adobe\Adobe Acrobat\DC\Privileged]
    "bProtectedMode"=dword:00000000

  3. UX design used to be to provide the best possible functional interface to allow the end user to be as productive as possible. The latest Adobe Acrobat interface flys in the face of these standards. It has moved menus, hidden functionality behind icons and in the name of looking cool or nice has ruined my productivity.

I never comment in these forums, but what you have done with the latest interface is so dysfunctional that if you worked for me I would fire the lot of you.

  4. Even if a single document is open in New Acrobat Pro the file name is displayed as trimmed. This is totally unacceptable in workflows where file names carry important information and must be inspected together with visual PDF information. This simple interface change makes Acrobat useless in prepress work, please fix this or provide a solution in settings.

  5. on the adobe acrobat online documents page, files have their modified dates displayed but only in the American Format (e.g. 2/3/2023). This is confusing for users outside U.S.

can it be updated to at least Follow international standard as the baseline or give options for display type

  6. Well, sonny, back in the old days in 2022, Acrobat had this interface where you could insert a page from a scanner in two mouse clicks. That was before the new fangled 2023 version that requires making an all new document and importing it.

It used to be you'd just go to File > Insert Pages > From Scanner and, pow, zap, whoop, there'd be the pages you'd want to add.

Now that they got this new-fangled interface and first you have to find the "File" menu item. That's hidden up under the three bars. Everyone else in the world…

  7. Allow users to remove these buttons as they take up quite a lot of space. ADOBE continues to worsen the user experience using this PAID app, by forcing icons in valuable real-estate.

  8. File Property name "Reading Options" is translated as 「読み上げオプション」 in Japanese, and this is quite misunderstanding as 「読み上げ」 means "verbal reading", while the file properties specify the reading (book-binding) directions and written languages. This shold be fixed as 「読み方オプション」, which denotes neutral "reading options".

  9. Preference → Full Screen → Full Screen Transitions → "Nvaigation Controls Direction" check button is not working on Acrobat Pro (2022), while it works on Acrobat Reader DC. If it is a persistent bug, I hope it would be fixed and make it works as exactly same as Acrobat Reader.

  10. My idea is to bring back the old function interface.

The new user interface is the most inconvenient, inexplicable, poorly organized user interface I have experienced with any Adobe product.

In the future, interfaces should be tested with real live users and not code writers.

I wish there were a way to use a "legacy" interface.

  13. I just opened Acrobat, and it gave me another "look what's new" popup. Every time it does this it freezes for a good minute. I have three new computers, the one I am using is a i7 12th gen 1280, with 32 mb of ram. So, not a slow computer by any means, and yet this mild distraction is very frustrating, especially for power users, who are the ones who are going to recommend your products. Instead of listening to us, it appears Adobe is running further down this rabbit hole. It should be mentioned that other companies who are…

  18. I installed the new Acrobat Pro. The interface was brand new. It looked nice but nothing was working. Under file I had the option to revert back to the older style. All the bugs persisted. I did a repair and now everything seems to work. But I would like to go back to the new interface but I don't see an option for it??

  20. The option to download a PDF to my desktop is buried and frustrating to find.
When logged online in to my account and looking at my documents tab, each file has three little dots to the far right. These dots have many of the document options I would expect, except there is download feature. To access this feature, I need to open the document and then select the three little dots located near the top of the screen to the right.

I could not find this and had to look online using your help feature. I found others having the…
