  1. Acrobat DC's Save As dialogue is horrible. Why does this product need to differentiate from a typical Save As--even from the rest of Adobe's products? I want to immediately be able to choose Desktop or Documents or whatever, and not have to click an additional "Choose a Different Folder..." button, just because my save location does not appear in the recent short list.

  2. I just want to be able to quickly and easily select the "hand" tool or the "select" tool. One minute it's in the tool bar - the next minute it's not. I cannot work out the logic for when they do (or don't) appear or - more importantly - how to make them a permanent fixture in the tool bar.

  4. Be able to go into preferences and specify the default folder for saving files, similar to the function in Word/Excel/PPT, etc.

  5. Highlighting is the main reason why I use pdfs. The main method that I use is selecting the text through hold left click and drag followed by right click and highlight. Usually the page is zoomed so that I can read the text. In a two-column journal, it is often the case that I want to highlight text from one column [bottom] to the other [top] but because the page is zoomed in, the page has to autoscroll back to the top - the speed which this happens is very slow.

    Solution:
Please consider enabling selected text [hold left click]…

  6. Since upgrading my iMac to MAC OS 10.13 Adobe Acrobat DC has become horribly unstable. It crashes constantly, but inconsistently. Sometimes it crashes when it's just open and sitting in the background. Sometimes it crashes when I'm attempting to open a PDF. It crashes regularly when I'm attempting to edit a PDF into a form. I don't get any on screen feedback except the dialog boxes asking if I want to report the "unexpected quit" to Apple, and then Adobe. I have completely uninstalled and reinstalled Acrobat DC. Any suggestions on how to fix this would be greatly appreciated.

  7. make home screen go away after closing PDF file in Acrobat DC. Add option for preferences to disable the 'application frame'. This is super annoying as every time you close a pdf you have to press command W on the keyboard twice to close the windows.

  8. The banner (top of the frame) is too large, as is the Find box when you ctrl+F. When you try to fix this in the properties area, this area is also too large. I am assuming this is making an apply button run off of the visible area of the window. When i try to fix the resolution (from Auto-Detect, which I'm assuming is also part of the problem) to 100% it doesn't fix it when I close the window (which is why I assume there is an "apply" button that I cannot see or use - See Bottom of…

  9. The tool sidebar is too close to the scroll bar, and make it difficult to use and select the scroll bar, which is almost always used. Make the position and/or the visibility of the tools sidebar a preference, since this redundant control is available using many other existing ways. This is the must frustrating, duplicative, and unusually located user control I have seen in many years.

  10. The "Find" Pop-up on the right-upper corner obstructs document viewing and it's very annoying. Whenever I need to see what's behind that pop-up, I need to esc to close the pop-up and Cmd+F again to commence with search.

I'm using the Mac OS version of Acrobat DC.

  11. Please add the Pinning of Bookmarks/Pages on the left hand pannel to Adobe Professional DC (Classic).
We have end users who scan thousands of pages a day and find this to be an unacceptable waste of time.

  12. I have been using adobe acrobat pro 9 for over 10 years, and recently I have to switch over to acrobat DC, and find it bizarre.

    1. First, the user interface has been completely redesign, not allowing one to switch back to the previous UI.
    2. Also, I find the number of key strokes needed to do a simple task, has greatly increase. I do a lot of cut-and-paste with my old acrobat, and it was convenient. With the new DC, after finally figure out how to do it, it involves a lot more key strokes. A regression!

  14. Please create a functionality to save all tabs with one click. Currently we need to go through every tab to save them. And while at it, close all and print all -functions would come handy too.

  15. in the new versions of Adobe, the browse for folder function - to open or save a file - is useless. Contrast it to every other conventional windows application, looking more like Windows Explorer where you can easily navigate to a folder, subfolder, file - but in Adobe, it immediately requires scrolling down, then selecting, scrolling down more, selecting a subfolder, etc.

  16. We need to set PDFs to open in the browser, however, sometimes the user needs to edit these (such as using Fill & Sign). In this case, the user clicks Fill & Sign, and they are told to download the file and open it.

It would be far easier if the toolbar that's visible when a user opens a PDF in the browser has a simple button where they could open it in whatever app they had set as the default for PDFs (Acrobat Professional, or Reader). Perhaps a button called "Open in Acrobat"

  17. If I update a PDF (Export from InDesign) on the server or the desktop, I use View After Exporting, and despite closing the PDF between updates Acrobat always and only shows the previous PDF - until I quit Acrobat. So I'm quitting and reopening Acrobat 20 or more times a day which is REALLY annoying. Only started happening with version 17.012.20095 on a Mac Pro running CS2015 onwards.

  18. Have 1 icon for bookmarks wether it is created by adding a new bookmark or combining pdf files.
If you need to add a new bookmark to a file you cannot get it to display the same icon as those created using combine pdf's. Unless they offer different functions there is nothing but confusion caused by having 2 different icons.

  19. I am using Adobe Acrobat on a Surface Pro 2. The scaling is horrible, with dialog boxes too big for the screen and options inaccessible. I gather the height of the Surface Screen is not within your specification. Please can you enhance the dialog boxex so they display fully on the screen. I also use Captivate and this is fine. Dialog boxes display properly.
