  1. I compared Acrobat X with the current version of Acrobat: At X you have 20 comments in the window at glance and in the current version it's just 9 comments! If I have a document with 1000 comments I have to scroll much more than in X and makes my work slower than before.

Please make more comments visible at a glance again!

  2. On the top toolbar there's a magnifying glass with a + in it, that then opens up another menu for + and -. This is an extra step, bring back the + and the - on the toolbar!

  3. I am unable to "save as" since the most recent update. I use Windows 10 Pro. My expected result is that I can "save as" rather than the white screen I get when I try to "save as"

  4. I am often having an issue of bookmarks going to the page after the set destination. I have checked the bookmark properties and they are correct.

The Action is 'execute a menu item' 'Go to a page in this document'.

  5. Please revert back to an older version. I hate the new DC version. I used to be able to have my frequently used toolbars readily available when I opened acrobat. Now I have to use several additional clicks to get to the tools I need. It defeats the purpose of paying for acrobat when it defaults to nothing more than a reader. I've spent considerable time looking for a setting to leave the toolbars on the side of my extremely wide screen, but they are well hidden if available at all, and I refuse to sign in to anything.

  6. Many of us would like Acrobat to work in a certain way that supports the way we work. For example, I want to always open in Read View (globally, not set per each document). Others have similar requests regarding Comments and such.

I'd like to suggest that you implement a fairly comprehensive Preferences facility that enables us to customize this powerful product to the way we work. It does not take long for the frustration to build when the product is klunky. Give us the ability to smooth out some of the rough edges please.

  7. When in Full Screen, the default setting is Single Page View. There is no way to change this in Full Screen. You can change it to, say, "Enable Scrolling" before entering full screen, but once you enter full screen it will revert back to the default. Please enable a way for the user to change the default Full Screen, Page View to their personal preferences in settings.

  8. Please, please can we have the option to show the Zoom Value (percentage) on the main toolbar. I can't use the 'out of toolbar' display as it disappears, and can't keep taking the mouse down to show the disappearing toolbar every time I want to know what zoom value I'm at.

    Thanks
    Mike

  9. When selecting text in Acrobat (for applying a comment or other markup), Acrobat selects whole words (unless you are being particularly careful). It would be good to have the option to turn this off so that we can easily select partial words, starting in the middle of one word and ending in the middle of another.

  10. Search for text across a number of PDFs together without combining them, needed for searching bank statements for a whole year or similar. Acrobat DC 2019.

  11. The popups aligned to the edge of the document make interface difficult to use, is there a way to open without it? Have it turned off but get pdfs from others and it's very very hard to use, to see the comments without opening a huge window, then I have to try to see it and the window I'm editing at the same time. Please make a way to set these inside so I can see them. Thank you.

  12. When I go to Save As PDF, I would like to be able to add my own frequently-used folders, even if they were not used recently. Maybe add them on the left side of the window? I save 99% of my PDF's to sub-folders in one of two master folders, so adding shortcuts to the two master folders on the Save As screen would be helpful.

  13. When selecting text or illustrations, ACROBAT DC (v 2019.012) does not highlight anymore, instead the selected object is pixelated in seeming random colors. this makes it impossible to recognize selected text (depending on foreground/background contrast).
particularly an issue when searching PDF and the highlights can not be seen.
tried re-installing etc. with no success

  15. Please Please stop the "Recent" screen opening, just put it back to where it was.

The checkbox that was in Preferences - Catalogue, no longer exists, for windows, (yet it does for Mac)

Thi sseems also tied into the chssck box to "stop" files opening as you are converting various files into one PDF, as as DC opens the individual files its stops the conversion process with the error "cannot continue as the xxxx file is open" i get round by being ready to close the file as it opens, but this is represents several steps backwards.

  16. When I specify in the Acrobat DC Preferences a HiDPI definition (163 dpi for a 27" 4K monitor) and when the OSX Mojave is adjusted on a logic definition of 2560x1440 pix, Acrobat mistakes at displaying actual size of PDF: the application displays documents as if the definition was lower. As a consequence the documents on screen appear bigger than they should.

  17. Please take out the creative cloud link in the bottom right window. Every time I try to resize a window from the bottom right or roll over to the scroll bar it clicks the link. I do know what my plan is and do not need to link to it every time I use acrobat. Thank you.

  19. Please stop forcing your obnoxious self-promotional popups in our faces like the "Share files with others." If I want to share files with others I will email the file to them, not use your data mining cloud.

  20. Constantly getting a huge "Send or receive feedback fast" popup near the huge blue Share button... every time I save or edit a PDF. Very very disruptive. Please allow users to disable popups such as this.
