  1. I have a lot of PDF- files in portrait format eg. bills.
When I doubleklick these files with MS-file-Explorer then Acrobat shows these in a standard Window. When I use Excel hyperlinks to show these files they maximize the window. This makes no sence with a widescreen monitor. So I have to dobleklick at the upper border to show it in the way I like. I didn't find any way to solve that problem. When I install F...t-Reader instead, It works fine.
So I don't think that this is an Excel based problem.
    I think it's very easy for you…

  2. I have Acrobat Pro DC fully licensed which I have used for many years, but I now cannot use it as it crashes (just closes) as soon as I launch it every time. I have run the Acrobat repair, but this has not fixed it. Is this due to a Win 10 update? I am using Win 10 Pro (version 2004) build 19041.928, not running any other apps when acrobat crashes.

  5. I'm getting no sensible suggestions on how to flatten a file for printing. This is one of the simplest and most basic of needs for the printing industry and I'm just staggered at the lack of clarity everywhere I look and whenever I ask. I work in Word to create artwork then convert this to a PDF but the existing pathway to flattening the file does not work and creates a chaotic image with bits missing and colours changed. How do I flatten a PDF???

  6. There needs to be a Standard Business stamp for lawyers. It should mimic the Exhibit labels we must use on documents that will become exhibits at trial. Most documents come to us now in digital form. It makes no sense to print them onto paper, place an Exhibit sticker on them, and then scan them back for submission to the court. We ought to be able to digitally put a stick on them from the Standard Stamp file, and then enter an exhibit number on each one. (Your Bates Stamp feature does this beautifully. Wish there were exhibit labels set…

  7. As a decades user of Adobe products (think dongle for AE), as myself and many other Boomers enter retirement, but still are doing some gfx/imaging type work, offering a Senior discount for life long users would be most appreciated.

  11. Currently when measuring in a PDF, Acrobat only gives the measure measurement in feet (i.e. 20.5 feet). It would be nice if Acrobat, in lieu of providing the measurement in a fraction of a foot, used a combination of both feet and inches (i.e. 20 feet 6 inches).

  12. adobe acrobat DC's textual and visual compare is not very useful unlike the compare feature that acrobat x pro has. Is there anyway that these features may be added? The compare results of the DC version is such a mess, its hard to track the changes. Unlike the compare feature that the X pro has. Thanks

  14. In past versions of Adobe, if I was saving multiple documents, the program would remember the last folder I saved the document to, so it would automatically go to that folder when saving another document. At the moment, it will only open temporary files and I will have to waste time clicking around to find the correct folder that I want to save the document to. There needs to be an update to allow the flexibility to save documents to the last folder selected.

    Hi,

Thanks for providing your feedback. The last folders where you have saved your previous files should get listed under the My computer section of the Save As dialog.

Can you please share the snapshot of your Save As dialog?

    Regards,
    Sandeep

  15. I'm running Action Wizard to fixup several PDFs. When an error message pops up, I click OK to dismiss it. Then I click Start to resume the Action Wizard. The Wizard skips over the next document in the list and adds a check mark as though it processed. When the summary report displays, that document is missing as though it wasn't ever in the "Files to be processed:"

  16. Bug related to viewing interactive PDFs.

    1. Make a PDF with a button in InDesign. Give it a different appearance when hovered by the mouse.
    2. Make multiple buttons like this next to each other (touching side-by-side) to make the problem much easier to recreate.
    3. Export as interactive PDF.

When viewing in Acrobat DC, move the cursor accross the buttons. They show the "hover" appearance while the cursor is over a button, but if the cursor moves from one button to the next the appearance on the previous button often tends to "stick", so you end up with multiple buttons showing the…

  18. Since acrobat pro dc 20135, and patch 20138, acrobat is not working with BPDX files to update a search index. I call acrobat.exe with a bpdx file passed as an argument, acrobat launches, and then the window appears as it did before attempting to update the index. Then message appears "fatal search engine error (-6) not able to find the file". I just went through an issue - after update 20135, with acrobat not being able to search a PDX file - saying file not found. Update 20138 fixed the issue with acrobat but I suspect the issue still exists…

  20. Your online chat says the current 32 bit supports both 32 and 64 bit architecture, which obviously it does but at only 32 bit ram usage meaning on my 64 bit machine it's slow. They also said you had a 64 bit that you released in some countries but not all. If the 32 supports both why do you have both>
